Every piece of info that leaks gets me more and more pumped! People complaining about "The Last Of Us" similarities need to caallllllm down! Lol I can see already its going to have its own unique direction and still retain elements that has always made GOW fun. The one thing I haven't seen people mention much is that a good 30-40% of past GOW games involved semi-challenging platforming and climbing sections in between all the hack and slashing and puzzle solving. With this new camera perspective and direction it makes me wonder if that element has been cut back or at least done slightly different. Will Kratos still have a double jump ability etc? Hard to tell from what we've seen so far but just makes me that much more intrigued in where they're going and how it will all play out. That's just one announced exclusive of many to look forward to! Good times to be a PlayStation gamer!

I saw star wars at the Imax yesterday in the U.S. and no Uncharted trailer :/ movie was great though!

I still remember getting this as a Christmas gift when I was a youngster for my SNES. I remember it being quite challenging at least in the later levels, but a ton of fun and definitely a standout in the SNES library especially as far as technical performance is concerned. Happy to see games like this make their way to a new generation

Agreed with the above comments. Not every franchise needs a "gritty" makeover. A true reboot or sequel to crash from the ps1 days would be amazing though!

Like I always say, for a 2007 game this still looks and plays really well. I can see they updated the character models ever so slightly (nates face and hair in particular) and made the explosions look better. Happy to see at least some effort went into this port

First RE game I ever experienced and always found it to be the best entry right next to RE4. Great news!

@sub12 yeah it's still pretty crazy and impressive how much life they were able to squeeze out of a 2006 console as it was!

@zeldagaymer93 definitely start with the first uncharted and go in order. It holds up a lot better than people give it credit for. It will make you appreciate the jump from 1-2 that much more though. You probably won't be as bothered playing the first though if you have yet to touch the others

I have to say that I really like the single-player driven approach Ubisoft is going for with this game and they seem determined to right Unitys wrongs with this installment. I wouldn't sleep on this one despite many people suffering from franchise fatigue

Ha just bought these for my ps3 again last week. $10 each brand new for both GOTY editions and the far graphics still look great imho. I suppose a remaster would make sense mostly for those who have yet to experience them yet or collectors looking to have the full trilogy for their new gen consoles. Either way you can't really complain since they're still giving us a brand new batman game first, so it's not like they're wasting development time on remasters

I'm excited for it and I don't watch the show either. Telltale is good with putting their own spin on these pre existing worlds

Very well played on their part. After all the crap going on lately with season passes, paid DLC etc etc it's nice to see a developer legitimately thanking the fans and awarding them for buying their game brand new at retail price. I salute these guys

@Eran I completely agree with you! The game being reality based makes it more relatable to the average consumer. I appreciate that rock star makes most of their games set in the real world

@gingerfrog yeah red dead redemption is probably the most enjoyable Rockstar game to start with, and gta 5 is a good place to start for newcomers to the series because it plays really well. If you want a fun rock star game that doesn't follow it's normal open world formula, I suggest giving max Payne 3 a try as well which I've always really loved

@ToddlerNaruto yeah see I feel like that's the best attitude to have toward the whole situation. So many games to enjoy, they don't need to worry about giving us crappy ports of games that should only be on new gen consoles. I've finished most of the ps3 games I own but there's still quite a few I'd like to play so I'm still fully satisfied. Many games, especially exclusives, still look amazing on that 9 year old hardware! I think ps3 will age well into the future particularly it's many exclusives

Awesome console with an enormous backlog for people to enjoy if they need more time before jumping to next gen. All I ask is they keep the free servers running for as long as possible and still give us the episodic games from telltale and dontnod for us to purchase and I'm perfectly fine with this news. The way I see it, PS3 already went out with the perfect bang two years ago with TLOU. Still an amazingly underrated Sony console

@rjejr I'm pretty sure they said rogue was the final last gen AC title but don't quote me on that. It's probably for the best if they focus on current gen only this time around to help prevent the launch issues from last year

At least WB is offering real content that seems meaningful for your money. At the same time $100 for a game is crazy......hard to say will wait to hear peoples opinions on the season pass first

@rjejr not bragging at all I felt your pain the first time I played and I did easy too. They definitely don't hold your hand and make you learn how everything works on your own. Saying that, I've beaten it on normal and twice on hard lol going for survivor next. Last Of Us is really fun once you get it down trust me. There are those couple frustrating parts like you mentioned I agree. Most of the time I just stealth by the bloaters. Stealth is king in that game. The run and gun approach is possible but hardly works until you make it to new game plus. Make sure to keep upgrading Joel's supplements and weapons as often as possible and always thoroughly search every environment you never know what you'll find. That's the name of the game

@rjejr once you learn how the mechanics work fully the last of us isn't all too difficult but anyone who says it's "easy" is lying lol

It's a cool idea I suppose I'm not sure how well it'll sell on its own but the pricing is fair and the story is great on its own merits

I enjoyed Watch Dogs for what it was and would love to see a sequel. The gunplay and stealth were great I thought as well as the hacking mechanics which added a whole different spin to the open world formula. Bring it ubisoft!

As a ps3 only player at the moment I agree this decision is for the best. Time to tap into the full potential of the current gen consoles without restraints. Us last gen guys still have an enormous backlog and downloadable games to enjoy. Let the ps4/xbox one really show us what they've got!
