If you haven't already noticed, we're massive fans of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt here at Push Square - so much so that we've deemed it a 'masterpiece' in our review. As such, we wish developer CD Projekt Red every success with the title's launch, and we've no doubt that many of you heard the game drop through your letterbox this morning,
It works both ways, though. A successful release needs its fans, and that's why the Polish studio's included a nice little letter of thanks with the physical version of the game. In an age where we usually don't even get a manual inside of our game cases, we reckon that it's a thoughtful touch.
Take a look at a copy that we've nabbed from a fan on Twitter, then tell us if it's put a smile on your face in the comments section below.

I decided to leave this out for Elder Scrolls Online, as I can only afford one of them, I will pick it up later once it's cheaper, I REALLY do hope I've made the right choice.
@Midzark I thought about doing the same. I chose The Witcher III instead. I can tell you only put 3 hours into it last night but it was amazing. The atmosphere, combat, and story are amazing.oh and in that 3 hours I only managed to do a measly 3 quests yet never felt as if I were wasting time. Beautiful, immersive and expansive game. All I've heard about ESO is that I'll be wasting my money.
Confused by header though - no, thank you?
@daveyboyps101 The letter is them thanking gamers. The header is @shogunrok thanking them back.
Aah I just realised that you can read that in two ways lol, thanks @PorIIM
Can't wait until tonight to play this. Once my son is asleep and the Mrs has set up camp on the sofa for the night it's all mine!
Looking forward to buy this.. I have been watching videos from witcher 2 game to get more knowledge though I know its not necessary )
@Garlicbread316 +1
Very classy.
The moment you first open your Collector's Edition you're greeted by the autographs of the CDPR staff on the inside of the box; everything bout his game just screams developer commitment!
@daveyboyps101 this is were punctuation makes a difference. "No, thank you" , means something completely different than "No thank you".
This is awesome
Very well played on their part. After all the crap going on lately with season passes, paid DLC etc etc it's nice to see a developer legitimately thanking the fans and awarding them for buying their game brand new at retail price. I salute these guys
I think we all owe it to CDPR to buy the game now. 10 out of 10sville here we come.
There's a soundtrack CD, a map, a guide to the lore, the note, some stickers, and a manual in mine.
This is why I buy physical copies. just so classy.
Now if only I could play the thing instead of being in work.....
Nice touch. They will be getting my money soon!
@daveh30 : you mean the way you spell where as W-E-R-E ? (yep , makes a difference - LOL! )
I got this digital!! The developers are trust worthy enough!! I'll need this on my hard drive. One day when it's extremely cheap I'll get the physical edition, just to have in the old collection.
Man, now I feel bad for not buying it... But I'm still plugging away at the first game!
I thought it was a nice touch.
Why can't every dev be like this?
