Re: 'People Are Less Willing to Pay': Dev Speaks Out Against Day One Releases on PS Plus, Xbox Game Pass

KundaliniRising333

Hot take here but... Devalued my ass.

Be competitive then. Stop condoning your peers when raising prices over and over and over again to now near $100. Or perhaps encourage them to not bloat development costs with needless hiring and firing protocols and intentional drawn out dev times. Hey maybe let platform holders know too that by pricing gouging wtheir hardware you are effectively pricing out a significant portion of your potential customer base.

A simple bit of math, just taking Sony's Subscription Service into account, which is the worst one by far out of all of them reveals better context. they are raking in near billions on these subservices fees a year and that's with data that's a couple years old. so maybe talk to them about not respecting you or valuing you enough to put you on their overpriced sub svc platform and pay you a decent amount to do so instead of pocketing all that money so they can fund attempts at doomed to fail live service schemes.

You folks are devaluing yourselves in these ways and many others. You're essentially saying that something like Game Pass devalues you by offering a value to the customer. however, if you look at the current gaming Market there are a very very few values to the customer. Both Sony and Xbox can afford to pay you what your worth but don't go after one of the last decent values in the gaming space because it affects your own price gouging ambitions.

This article just feels like click bait to bash gamepass on a Playstation dedicated site, without addressing the fact that ps plus tiers are literally a rip off.

Re: MindsEye (PS5) - GTA Producer's Latest Is a Futuristic Faceplant

KundaliniRising333

@lazarus11 agreed. It's criminal that the games media establishment predominantly ignored tainted grail. Such an indie gem. Rough performance wise but in my opinion it makes the Bethesda games it takes after look like amateur hour in terms of atmosphere and story. At least a few games content creators gave it a spotlight and sung it's praises.

Loving it.

Re: Poll: What Review Score Would You Give Elden Ring Nightreign?

KundaliniRising333

Not for me. Beyond that though, it's also not what I want to see with successful single player IPS. The idea of trying to capitalize on those ips by slapping them into a liveservice/multiplayer scheme is just not going to often work.

Sony wasted the entire generation and billions in resources doing this and produced almost nothing in return for that greed driven plan, and they aren't done seeing the rock bottom of that trajectory yet.

The last thing most Fromsoft fans want is for them to do the same, rather than using their success to evolve, expand, improve rexperiemnt with new IPS for those schemes; or at least make the effort modernize their own aging and technically inferior engine and optomization protocols.

I don't mind them trying something new. Yeah I don't really believe that's what this was I believe they saw the sales numbers and the popularity of a huge breakthrough hit IP and decided to try to monetize it further by making a farely bare bones system as easy as possible by asset flipping. Best selling millions of copies of another product with the IP name yet with far less invested in it financially so the payoff ends up being huge.

Re: The Outer Worlds 2 Is an $80 Game on PS5, as Xbox Continues to Push Game Pass

KundaliniRising333

I genuinely was looking forward to the sequel and still am however

There's not a single game I will condone this ***** by paying $80 for. not this, not Grand Theft Auto, not the next iterative sequel from one of the Sony Studios, none of them. They can F right off with that.

Whoever is in charge of all these monstrosity corporations have really misread the room here because essentially what they're saying is that they're okay pricing a large portion out of the player to increase revenue prices for the ignorant that will pay it. It just makes no sense especially when you consider a platform like Nintendo like your bread and butter is parents buying it for kids and you just priced a ***** ton of them out of it.

It's just dumb long term thinking. you can't continue to raise prices you just need to stop with the bloated development cost and/or price gouging for no factual reason.

This is why capitalism is the ultimate ignorance. The endless gross model is a lie and only leads to annihilation.

Re: PS5's Brilliant New State of Play Breaks Records for Sony

KundaliniRising333

Lmfao what in the dystopia world are we talking about. This isn't YouTube metrics here. Are we really suggesting that because it was the most viewed it was the most successful? In the largest data poll we have to go on the reception was largely divided equally among those that though it a good showcase and those that thought otherwise.

Most viewed does not mean success. It's like the whole players versus sales logic all over again.

On Sony's YouTube channel alone, Concord's cinematic reveal trailer had 664k views, it's gameplay reveal 1.2 m views. The deep dive even more...

Re: No, Nioh 3 Isn't Open World, Despite Team Ninja's Rise of the Ronin Experiment

KundaliniRising333

As a huge soulslike fan, I'm still fine with it being more linear but the level based systems alongside the terrible loot system from the previous two, wo long, and Ronin, look like they are just copy and pasted in this one again.

For me that makes it yet another Nioh I wait until it's complete on half off. Especially as it appears to have looks like a very minor visual improvement, if at all, than it's last gen predecessors.

Love the combat, but the story delivery, replaying the same level nonsense to pad out the content, and literally the worst loot system I've ever experienced in a game; just don't make that great combat worth a full price investment for me.

Glad for the hardcore fans of the series though, as Ronin was very mediocre.

Re: Poll: How Would You Rate State of Play for June 2025?

KundaliniRising333

This was just bad when you take into account years of just poor showings and ghosting the fanbase. I'm not saying there wasn't a few interesting gems in there but when you really look at the entirety of this generation and how these showcases and stated of plays have gone, it's just insane to see how badly Sony and their game studios were led astray.

Aside from revealing Bond and another Nioh, none of these games needed to be in the one showing we now see from Sony for a whole year.

The ghost of yotei build up only to punch one in the gut and walk away was pretty hilarious and sad at the same time.

This wasn't the worst state of play but it was another underwhelming one amid years and years of them being so. You set aside the echo chamber here on PS, and you can already see most ppl feel the same.

Re: What Time Is PlayStation's State of Play for June 2025?

KundaliniRising333

Expectations at an all time low. It's going to be more 3rd party filling the void that has been this generation for PS5. Even if more yotei is shown it's just not enough. Yet sadly we already know that most of the talent was working on live service garbage. So what's there to expect?

Announcement Titles for ps6 games? Lol

Re: The Witcher 4 Gameplay Revealed, Running on PS5 at 60fps with Ray Tracing

KundaliniRising333

Yah this carefully scripted bit looks great and works well as an unreal ad. However it's doubtful this will ever look anything like this on console. It does bode well for abandoning the aged red engine though.

A stunning spectacle as unreal puts out often. However in practice it doesn't seem to ever translate to what they advertise until the tech demo is a generation old or so and the next iteration of unreal is put forward.

Looking forward to Witcher either way, after reviews of course. They lost a ton of talent after Witcher 3 due to terrible dev practices and even more with the cyberpunk fraud.

Hopefully this one turns out.

Re: Elden Ring Nightreign (PS5) - A Ruthless Roguelike Reinvention of the Lands Between

KundaliniRising333

So the performance is shoddy on the pro, yet you didn't take the time to even report on how it plays on the base ps5 that most platform players have? Yet one can conclude it's even worse performant on it, then you slap an 8 score for it regardless because it's Fromsoft or what?

It just seems so bizarre that since the pro was released you haven't at all checked base ps5 performance in your reviews. It's a ps5 dedicated site...

Re: Oblivion Remastered Updates Still Nowhere to Be Seen a Month After Release

KundaliniRising333

Yah after a dozen hours or so I set it down. It's on me for breaking my never buy on day one rule. I let nostalgia and hype get the better of me and I have buyers remorse because of it.

Knowing BGS track record of never really fixing games, and letting modders do the work for them, console versions will likely never genuinely get fixed or have non technical feedback addressed.

I think I am more disappointed that they really didn't do anything to update or address the originals shortcomings, and yet the marketing along with games media went along with a vague narrative that they did. The fact that they knowingly released the game in a garbage technical state is just salt in the wound along with it.

Never again bgs, never again.

Re: Marathon Maker's Morale in Tatters as Art Director Forced to Admit Asset Theft in Ill-Conceived Livestream

KundaliniRising333

They should just cancel the project now. It is guaranteed to flop at this point. The sentiment toward this game was already mediocre. The play test was underwhelming, and now this.

Bungie will be essentially dissolved after it does.

Just rip the band aid off. It's no secret that the playstation live service push has been an unmitigated disaster and has had irreparable consequences on their Studios and brand sentiment as a whole.

Unfortunately they will likely just delay this only to have the same result next year and waste even more resources on these pipe dreams.

This has got to be one of the worst acquisitions in entertainment history.

Re: Bungie Conducting 'Thorough Review' After Plagiarised Art Is Found in Marathon

KundaliniRising333

Pretty insane that's the entire art design framework was essentially based on stolen art. Yet don't let bungie or games media shills fool you here by glossing this over as a decent response from bungie. This is like the 4th time they have been found to have used obvious examples of stolen art in their work. They respond with the same "it was one bad apple," bs every time and agreed compensation that for some never happened. This dev is scum and Sony paid billions for them; all to try and find a shortcut to a unicorn that is largely extinct today.

Re: Like It or Loathe It, This Is Why Sony Won't Stop Trying to Make Live Service Games for PS5

KundaliniRising333

"If Sony finds its golden goose, then it’s not going to come at the expense of the single player games we know and love; if nothing else, it’s going to help the platform holder bankroll said risky projects for years to come."

You're argument is completey at odds with reality. Chasing live service projects completely tanked the single player output of this entire generation. Not only that but Sony tried both. They forced their pedigree studios to try and make one of these schemes and failed, and they also bought studios that specialize in or were wholly dedicated to making them and those also failed or are about to.

The reality is, that those big microtransaction money makers like cod, gta, hoyoverse slop, fortnite, roblox, apex, etc, Have been the only ones to to really put up such numbers for a long time now and have been at the top for the better part of a decade or more as they were the essential founders of the entire goose. They have the market share and it's been proven time and time again that nothing else has come even close to achieving what those games produce because the idea of pulling people away from them actually doesn't make sense.

The few that do have some moderate success, albeit nowhere near these giants. they have done so with unique breakout experiences of which Concord, fairgame, marathon, defiant, blah blah blah are not. Sony is trying to find a golden goose in what's already been done. Done better and the marketshare for that slop already eaten up. They learned nothing from hell divers as to why it was a mild success.

The true strategy would have been merely to invest in the giants already pretty much owning the predatory scheme market and thus take more slices from their profits and in tern making it the premier platform to play them on, which in some aspects is already happening as they are the dominant console in terms of player base.
Then make what you became successful with, marquee single player experiences.

Instead this generation from the first party front has been cash grabs, price gouging, hardware sales, remasterakes and failures. Yet yes they had record profits, ironically not just the 30% from mtxs, but the other 70% from subscriptions, third party digital sales, and more. Not to mention those record profits would have been even higher had they not had massive losses from Concord, and the half dozen or more other canceled projects they had their other studios working on for the entire generation while they pushed out AI led remasterake cash grabs.

It's pretty hard to keep making this golden goose argument when we see it failing and player sentiment toward new iterations to this unicorn chasing waning.

Re: Fairgames, One of Sony's Last Live-Service PS5 Games, Loses Studio Founder Amid Internal Worries

KundaliniRising333

Lmfao, just a real sad showing from Sony and Co this gen. I don't think anyone is surprised that this one is likely failing.

Couple that with a very mid reception and outlook for marathon and wasting studio resources for an entire generation, and one has to really question just how blind the entire leadership tier of the outfit must beThey have essentially coasted on new thing other than sentiment coming forward from last gen. At some point folks are going to turn the blinders off and that gas tank will be mere fumes.

You can't keep parroting that this was a Jim Ryan thing here. Clearly the whole ship is being steered by non gamer investor interests.

Great advertising for PC this gen, especially with the diminishing value proposition the console holders are choosing merely for short term gains.

Re: Even More PS5 Price Increases Being Considered by Sony

KundaliniRising333

@Northern_munkey @LogicStrikesAgain yes. Indeed! I have amassed a great deal of texts on the subject as well. Starting with the many similar operandi of those secret societies, and then I began focusing on the hermtic origins that influenced most of their doctrines. It was a rather abrupt inclination to delve further beyond the veil when I had an awakening moment of my own spurred on by a moment of intense suffering and emotional surrender. Changed my life and helped me understand a bit more of I Am, beyond the physical, and mind.

Interesting stuff to see that commonality in conjunction with loving a medium like gaming here in the physical sense based pleasure plane we inhabit while in these bodies. Being all manifestations of an interconnected whole, perhaps that explains it right there 🤣

Re: Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League Bombed So Hard, Warner Bros' Games Revenue Still Hasn't Recovered

KundaliniRising333

Warner bros as a publishing outfit have been mismanaged far longer than just suicide squad.

Sony should have learned the Redfall /suicide squad lesson back then or at the very least taken some notes. Instead they learned all the wrong things and learned nothing as to why Hell Divers was a rare but fairly decent success.

They are going to learn it the hard way even more so in the next 18 months.

Re: Even More PS5 Price Increases Being Considered by Sony

KundaliniRising333

@Northern_munkey 🤣. Oh no broke batman is still laying dormant. I just know that the reality is we are being intentionally divided with nonsensical culture war distractions. The true only way to create a better standard of living for all forms of life on the planet is to unite as one and enact change outside the machine built with the direct explicit intention to keep us controlled, subservient, and distracted, while they extract.

I tried the go it alone strategy, and that only inconvenienced a few "lizard" masons and landed me in what I call the "men's retreat," around family members, in the process 🤣
