Days Gone looks and performs brilliantly on the PS5 with backwards compatibility, which has left some pondering what the game’s upcoming remaster can possibly achieve.
Obviously, we already know it’s getting the Horde Assault mode, which ups the amount Freakers to 800 on the screen. But what about the overall presentation?
“The graphical improvements we’ve made, you’ll see the difference,” creative and product lead Kevin McAllister told the PS Blog.
“There’s increased lighting, increased shadow quality, increased fog depth. For example, night time is now darker; the moon is more natural-looking. The blue sky is more natural, too: Days Gone is a very realistic-looking game. And we’ve taken that to a new level with the PS5.”
