Not one but two big RPGs have launched this week, and the publishers are exchanging pleasantries on social media.
Bethesda of course made a huge splash by shadow-dropping The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered, but it's released just a couple of days before the launch of Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, a brand new RPG.
The latter is out today on PS5, and has received extremely strong reviews from critics.
However, there's a worry among fans that its arrival has been overshadowed by Bethesda's surprise remaster of one of its most beloved titles.
In what seems to be a sincere recognition of Clair Obscur, the publisher has put out the below art on its socials. Clair Obscur publisher Kepler Interactive responded in kind:
And the official Clair Obscur account has reacted too:
This feels like a nice gesture given the circumstances, and it also reminds us of PS Studios celebrating each other's new games with cool artwork.
Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 got a 9/10 in our review, calling it "one of the most refreshing and original RPGs in years".
