I was fully intending to buy this day one, but I got a Nintendo Switch and bought a bunch of games on that so I'm going to beat them first. I love my ps5 and have been with Sony since PS1 but the portability and the fact that my girlfriend's kids have Switches means I'm not really on the playstation much at the moment. I'll definitely get round to armoured core at some point but I'm not in any hurry.
I don't really like card based games but from what I've heard, Inscryption is a bit special so I'm looking forward to that, and FC6 because I love Chorizo and want to befriend him.
I'd probably like this if it wasn't Avatar. At least let us play as the humans with the cool mechs! I don't care about all the heavy handed environmental stuff. I play video games to escape our inevitable climate doom.
Really we should just forget that 6 exists and remake code Veronica. After village I'm looking forward to what they do next as that was absolutely superb.
Wake me up when a non open world single player splinter cell reboot gets announced. Until then they can stick their radio towers and mission bloat up their assassins.
@playstation1995 this man knows his hip hop. It's not my favourite genre (though lord knows I love some Wu Tang, Nas, Outkast, Kendrick, and Biggie) but even I know Weezy has been a bit of a joke for some time. Still, it's going to make him a few quid and won't detract from the game itself so what's the harm?
@nessisonett as a big metal fan I'm the first to admit that the fanbase can be a little overzealous at times. Just look at the hatred piled on Ghost and even Opeth's later material. Two objectively talented acts with great songs and superb production and instrumentation, but because it doesn't sound like a biscuit tin full of flies being screamed at by a Karen on Buckfast it's deemed "pop". This is why I don't tell people how much I love Tool. A minority of their fans are just terrible.
I sincerely don't believe he'll be a playable fighter. His special move would be to wheeze at someone, drink a pint of something he shouldn't and then fall into a coma.
Having just got home from an absolutely wonderful couple of days spent with my partner at their place I'm currently trying to shake off a hangover with Scott 4 and a coffee before turning on the ps5.
Once that happens I'll continue the slog through Horizon Forbidden West. It's stunning to look at but between Aloy's interminable internal monologue and the endless mashing of triangle to pick up loot I'm really not getting the hype.
@KundaliniRising333 yeah buddy. I stand by that. Endlessly replayable and deep mechanics. It's something you can pick up and play for five mins or five hours and never gets boring.
@KundaliniRising333 exactly what I thought when it was announced. Then I played it. Then after that I played it in VR. Trust me, it's one of the greatest games of all time.
I'm playing it at the moment and absolutely loving it, but the ray tracing mode really does slow the whole thing down. It's like a slide show compared to the performance mode.
I'd like to lend my support to the theory that PS didn't get a copy due to it's adherence to honesty in reviews. The fact that the site frequently has to remind casual readers that a 7 is still a good score bears that out. It's also the reason Push Square has been a daily check in for me for the last ten years.
@NEStalgia yikes. I didn't know that was the case. Tbh I've only seen a couple of trailers and it didn't appeal to me at all, but I'd be lying if I didn't feel some small amount of shadenfreude after SE pulled that crap with Avengers being a live service, whatever Babylon's fall was, and their attitude to NFTs.
Based on Writing on Games' review this looks like it could be monumentally bad. I'd find it funny but the actor who plays Frey is likely to get a heap of abuse from the usual scum online and she absolutely doesn't deserve that. Bad writing and a horrible character is not the fault of the actor.
@ItsBritneyB_tch I'd say on the whole it's the best book due to the pacing and the overall story hitting it's stride, but yeah the third film isn't the best.
It's a great collection but the online multiplayer was absolutely broken at launch. I really hope they fix it as I'd love to play the arcade and SNES games with friends.
@Northern_munkey he was a pretty big deal back in the day. For a couple of years he was everywhere and never out of the tabloids due to his national service stint as Madonna's boyfriend. Thankfully that was phased out and we no longer have to worry about being called up.
God of War Ragnarok and Elden Ring come out in the same year and we're arguing over which is better. Good lord. They're both incredible, both push things forward in different ways and both were an absolute joy to play. You can't really compare which is "better" as it's so subjective.
Got bored on the extended yak level but now 25 hours in I may have seen the last of the yak. Other than that it's a solid nine. I've never played a 10. I don't want to, because once I do it means nothing can beat it.
A titan, a giant, among voice actors. His tones will be missed and his incredible performance as Batman will never be forgotten. RIP sir, you will always have a place in our hearts.
Yeah great it does all the high end stuff, but it's for consoles. This is dead on arrival at that price. Sony won't develop software for something seven people bought at launch.
Nothing for me personally but hardly a poor selection. I'm quite busy with Yakuza; Like a Dragon at the moment so I'm still very much getting my money's worth.
I just don't really see the point if only the graphics have changed. I love both games but if they'd brought TLOU2 combat to the remake I'd have jumped on this. As is I'm not paying full whack for some updated bells and whistles that for me at least don't seem worth it.
TMNT For the NES is very much of it's time but hardly terrible. It has randomised enemies which were rare for the time. Strategic elements, light RPG elements, a variety of weapons, shortcuts and replayability. It's easy to get sucked into the hate post AVGN and every other lazy review of it, but having played it to death on the c64 and NES as a kid it was really a good- though hardly great- game.
Oh, and as for the water level just take your time and use Raphael. He can tank the whole level and he's useless everywhere else.
They had the biggest open goal in history for a single player rise to power playing as Paul and they made an MMO. I will enjoy every moment of watching this fail.

If you can afford ps vr 2 despite it being doomed to fail then you can probably afford 25 quid for this.

Not even remotely interested in starfield or baldurs gate so I'm definitely picking this up. Time for another playthrough!

Reminds me of someone I dated for a while. Looked great and seemed like the next big thing but just reminded me how much fun could be had elsewhere.

10 but I'll happily admit that I had a lucky guess on the persona and suikoden questions as I've not played them. Tricky one this time!
Re: Poll: Are You Happy with Your PS Plus Extra, Premium Games for October 2022?
Some really good games but nothing I would personally get excited for. If you like Dragon Quest it's a good month though!

@sonicmeerkat dream on. Knack 2 costs all of the money. Developing the motion capture for the hands on the NPC's cost seventeen million pounds.
