@oliverp it’s just a massive fantasy adventure about some people trying to get worms out their brains. Don’t overthink it and just dive right in. It was my first CRPG and it’s incredible. Possibly my favourite game yet.

It’s a bit odd having collections and remasters on here, makes it confusing. There are no “bad” GoW games though so any of them you play you’re in for a good time.

Saying that, yak hell can do one. Iykyk. What were they thinking with that? Total pace killer.

Saw “Threads coming to PS5” and wondered just how the hell they could make a game of that?

@deadfred77 I remember that on the C64! I was only 7 at the time so didn’t know what I was doing, but I loved the sense of scale to it. Great game.

I’ll definitely be checking out Animal Well. Just the thing as a nice palate cleanser between bigger games.

Recently got really into gunpla building with my girlfriend’s youngest son, so he’s really hyped for this. I really hope it’s good!

I wouldn’t call this a feud as much as a Canadian poser being absolutely massacred by someone far more talented.

Tunic looks decent! Ghostrunner I’m not bothered with as I really didn’t like the first one, Destiny 2 can do one as it just wants to suck more money from you as soon as you load it up. Haven’t played properly since 2019 and I’m not about to start now. Last time they gave us a D2 expansion I booted it up and had to click through endless popups wanting more money. That can get in the sea.

Oh and football. Yeah ok if you want a game worth all of 99p aimed squarely at promoting FUT then go on, you do you, I’ll be on Helldivers having fun.

It’s a bit annoying as I bought it physical on release but lent it to my brother ages ago, but I’ve got it on ps plus and can’t upgrade. Oh well, I’m playing fallout 3 and new vegas again so hopefully it’s sorted when I finish them.

I'm not really in the mood for any more metroidvanias for a while, but I thought the guy showing this at the game awards seemed nice, and I hope he does well.

That said, it's sad that it's come to PS Extra as it shows how little faith the publisher has.

So has Rise of the Ronin been a disaster? I remember seeing it and thinking it just looked very derivative.

Im still on my first play through! I love it. It's one of my favourite games of all time, but I'm monumentally bad at it so after 50 hours I've put the difficulty down to easy and I'm breezing through it for the (excellent) story. This deluxe edition looks lovely but I've nowhere to put it.

@Darude84 I'd agree, but remember that Spider-Man is still a great game, and sold way more than Returnal. It's also a license with a huge fanbase. Returnal is an excellent game, one of my favourites, but it was never going to beat Spider-Man.

It was really nice seeing the guy who came up with this at the game awards. Seems to mean a lot to him. I don't think it's going to do very well though.

I was interested in a Dune game then I found out it's a live service so nope. Not for me.
Saw Dune 2 on Sunday. It's a masterpiece. Possibly the greatest film I've seen in a cinema.

Lost Planet 2 walked so Helldivers 2 could run. Yeah, I said it.

Should be a good news for both people who bought it.

I always said that if DS2 came out before DS1 it would be regarded as a masterpiece. It's a great game with a lot to love. There's nothing particularly bad about it, it's just maybe too big for it's own good.

Awwww they must be really upset that people didn't fall for it. My heart absolutely bleeds.

Still haven't managed to get a game since Sunday. It's annoying of course, but if they're true to their word on not having predatory mtx and pay to win, I'm still glad I bought it. It's gonna run for years so I can wait. There's always BG3 in the meantime.

Is Helldivers any good? I've booted it up five times today and been told the service is at capacity. Nothing quite like paying 35 quid for a game I'm not allowed to F@££&ING play.

I'd love to play the master chief collection on ps5. It sounds nuts but seeing as the MP has cosmetics etc it's not a bad idea to make them some money on an old game. Used to love the campaigns back in the day.

Calling On The Beach a Fred Astaire movie is selling it a bit short. It's a harrowing watch. One of the greatest films of its time.

It was always going to fail as soon as they started chasing the LiVe SeRViCe crap. It'll fail and it'll be a well deserved failure.

Best thing they showed in my opinion. No live service nonsense or panderverse garbage. Just pure gameplay. This is exactly what we need.

I was playing Destiny 2 for hours daily up to Rise of Iron coming out. Then the mtx and nonsense got out of hand.

It was added to ps plus a while back with one of the later expansions (beyond light? Light fall? They all seem to have similar names now), and I couldn't play for five mins without popups begging me to buy more add ons, currency, skins, and other nonsense. I gave it a few hours then just uninstalled.

If this is how it's become then I'm sorry but they've brought it on themselves and the more these business practices continue the more failure they'll see.

Marathon is dead on arrival and it looks like they've managed to kill D2, not to mention TLOU Factions as well.

Sorry folks, but you are very much in the "find out" part of the deal from the way you have treated your loyal fans.

@JohntheRaptor nah they have a really good story. It's not something I'd want to spoil for you but it's pretty weird and very smart. Those games were way better than they had any right to be considering the budget.

Easily my most replayed ps exclusive and one of my most proud platinum trophies. It's a faultless game.

We need a remaster of hard corps uprising. That game was too good.

Not really my thing this game, but I'm not gonna bash what I don't understand. What does need to be said is that you'll never look smart getting your knickers in a twist about some cartoon dinosaurs and their gender identities and sexual preferences. Come on, you're all better than that.
