@charbtronic Yeah it has been great so far. I got the soundbar and then I eventually added some rear speakers and a sub. I like how you have different models depending on your budget. I had an ancient 2.1 system before, so wouldn't have take a great deal to notice an improvement.

@charbtronic I use a mixture of both. Headphones if I game in the mornings (don't wanna be too much of nuisance for my neighbours) or mulitplayer games.

All other times I use my Sonos surround system. It might just be me, but I find that so much more immersive than headphones, which always makes me feel more enclosed.

@Th3solution Only used the for an hour so last night, but there already seems to be a noticeable improvement on my previous headset.

Mind you there was a substantial update to Battlefield 6 yesterday, so might have something to do with that.

The new modes do not sound like they are for me, as I prefer the larger scale modes. Good for those that are though and cool the the games is being supported close to launch.

Will the new maps be available for the other modes, or just the new ones?

9/10 for me and I've only played the MP. Played a mixture of Conquest, Breakthrough, Escalation and Rush. One of those modes (Escalation) actually expandes the map a bit and you start further back then is available in Conquest.

I've not got this into a MP for a few years, and can't wait to go home and play it each night!

It can be brutal and some games we have been absolutely destroyed lol. But still enjoy most times regardless of the out come.

The amount you can customise the game is also cool. Yellow enemy indicators FTW!

It has been great so far, although some matches have been brutal. And Support players not reviving even though no enemy troops near by. Don't recall seeing bots, but only played Conquest. Have noticed quite a few squads of clans, who are usually highly ranked.

I bought this on PS4 years ago and never played it. I have an itch to play somthing like this, but totally forget about it. Will be a good time to finally give it a go.

Had a few games yesterday and it feels like older BF games to me. Has me hooked.

Waiting to see how the multiplayer holds up and maybe getting it at some point.

Been burnt too many times, so am wary of jumping in so near launch.

@Jrs1 @Voltan Wasn't the first Alan Wake game remastered not long ago? That version could be played and I don't think the game will take that long to beat, if people wanted to.

I will most likely get Alan Wake 2 Deluxe Edition as it is under 20 quid, and I have some PS store credit.

Love a Austin Wintory soundtrack! Thought The Pathless was awesome, so will defo be giving this a go, maybe after I'm finished with Lies of P.

My PS+ expires on the 10th June after the 5 days extra, so I am just able to scrap a renewed sub at a discount. Phew!

Playing this at the moment and it's rather good! I saw that the update downloaded earlier and noticed that the menus and UI looked a bit different.

@MFTWrecks Yeah I agree. As much as I loved the game, getting the Platinum was such ball ache. I usually give up Platinum trophies when they are like that, but Returnal was so damn good to play, I couldn't stop myself.

Can't wait for this, could even be a rare day one purchase for me.

I've got a small lamp which makes the PS1 startup sound when switched on. Currenlty resides under my PS5 in my TV stand, next to two other PS themed lamps. #notafanboy

Should have come with a free golf club lol.

Liked the look of this ever since I first saw it. Hopefully there will be news of a PS5 version soon.

Loved Control, technical issues aside on PS4. I never did play the Ultimate edition when came to PS Plus with the dlc, as I had only recently completed the game and there is no way to transfer your saves.

@Mikey856 It is like when I first played a Sega game on a Nintendo console. Didn't feel right, almost alien lol.

Hmmmm, didnt realise the director was the map designer for Dark Souls. To date that is my favourite designed world in these games. Still, I shall wait until reviews as I've had a mixed history with rogue lites/likes and games designed with co-op play at the forefront.

I didn't even notice until Saturday afternoon when the welcome hub thingy was FUBAR. I was still able to play Ender Lillies so it was all good for me.

I'm the same as @Member_the_game, and am unable to stack subscriptions. Last time the dates did not align, I bought 3 months or monthly subscriptions and then let it expire when they were on sale.

I seem to be back online now. Hurrah!

I'll be lucky to finish one in under 100 hours. Witcher 3 took me over 400 to finish (with no dlc) and Elden Ring + Shadow dlc took me over 600.

I enjoyed what I played of the first game, albeit only the first couple of hours. Hopefully will get back to that soon, and if I end up liking it till the end, this will be on my radar.

Usually do the PS+ stuff for coins and have gotten a few 5 quid vouchers. I don't buy that many games these days so don't accumulate a great deal of points.

When dreams come true... this was a pleasant surprise to wake up to. I predict it will be a PS6 launch game at the earliest though.

This is the one game I was gutted I wouldn't get to play when MS bought the studio, so am glad it is coming to PS5. Will see about playing the DLC's for the first game as i think they are on PS Plus.

I am torn on this. As much as I love Elden Ring, I don't really play games in co-op (I'm not a chicken first off) and my history with roguelites/likes has been mixed.

And I'm not sure i really want to face The Nameless King again.

I enjoyed this what I played of it, but took a couple of breaks from and struggled to get back into. Also thought it introduced too many gameplay elements, and gave up when they introduced eggs and chickens. 😂
