A recent survey has shed light on the popularity of console platforms in the United States, and the PS5 is front of the pack with a pretty considerable lead.
The information comes from consumer data analyst group Statista, which recently shared a graph presenting the results from the survey.
Of the 3,200 respondents, nearly half — 46% — said they regularly play games on PS5.
The second highest result belongs to Nintendo Switch at 33%. Third place is PS4, with 27% of participants still regularly using the older console.

Another interesting statistic is that Xbox One is actually above Xbox Series X|S on the graph, albeit only by a small margin.
The graph is focused on console platforms, and so doesn't include PC in the mix. It would be cool to see how it stacks up.
Anyway, it just goes to highlight PlayStation's dominant position in the console space, which isn't exactly news to us, but it's always interesting to see data like this regardless.
