Probably their plan all along, but doubt Sony will even entertain the idea until Call of Duty won't be available on PlayStation. And will most likely be a bespoke version of Gamepass, with only game not available on PlayStation.

This is what happens when too much stock is put into leaks, insiders, rumours and speculation. It always baffles me whenever something like this is reported as news.

Yeah I can only buy another year's subscription at the full price. I've only tried through the app so far.

I've just claimed 3 months free with Sonos. The atmos support is good (although I don't think it is supported when using the app on PS5), which I don't believe Spotify and YouTube Music offer yet.

Mine is up at the end of the month, so hopefully the discount will also be for extending subscriptions.

Hopefully they can put it into something like Control, so I can finally play the DLC for the the PS5 version, without playing the majority of the game again.

I more I read about this, the more it seems like this is bad management from Bungie rather than Sony.

Playing this at the mo and really enjoying it. Unlocked Chicharron not too long ago, and everytime I go to pet it it just cracks me up.

And I only watched Insidious The Red Door last weekend on the service lol. I thought the film was awful but didn't notice anything bad about the picture quality. You can get Atmos when the film has it, which a plus point for me. Not sure if there is much on there that I would be willing to pay for watching, Spider-Man Across the Spider-Verse I am, but that is coming soon to Netflix in the UK apparently, so will wait for that.

I would totally be up for some Spider-jam. Do it Sony, do it!

I will try out the service, but I prefer to watch movies on 4K blu ray when available.

Huh. I was tempted to buy Calisto Protocol as the price has just dropped recently. Weird West has been on my wishlist for an age, so next month is a win for me!

I was going to sink into this again and watch Edgerunners at the same time, but I'm in the middle of another game, so this will have to wait until a bit later in the year.

I'm a massive fan of FromSoftware's recent games, but whenever i saw footage of it this game it did nothing for me. Don't quite know why, maybe it's something to do with the samey looking environments. Maybe I'll try it at some point, but it is not exactly high up on my list.

I've not played the game since I completed it after it first came out, but I have a week off work not long after this drops. So just may check this out then, and watch Edgerunners at the same time.

Sounds good. Nothing like a good bloody, fleshy thwack when you pile a heavy weapon into someone's face. And for video games also.

Really enjoyed the first game, so will definitely pick this up at some point!

@Olmaz My setup is PS5 - Sony Bravia TV - Sonos Beam Gen 2.

Do you Arc or eArc connections? As I know that could make a difference, but not sure if it would reduce latency. I only have Arc though. Everyone's experience will vary due to their setups.

@Olmaz Sorry, I may have explained it poorly. I've only played one game since getting an Atmos capable setup, but that was in Dolby 5.1 as I'm not part of the the Beta test group. I've only watched movies in Atmos. I've not experienced any noticeable lag on either.

@Olmaz When digital foundry tested atmos on PS5, they noted there was less lagg than on MS Series consoles, which was one of their main issues. I've only played one game but not noticed and issues so far, and I've tried to pay close attention to stuff like lip syncing.

@ThaBEN I would would stick with your current headphones, I can't imagine Atmos being a massive improvement over Tempest when using headphones.

I should have my sub woofer by the time it rolls out after getting a soundbar and rear speakers recently. Even playing games with 'only' 5.1 surround I've noticed a difference and definitely feels more immersive.

Cool, I'll bet getting an Atmos soundbar shortly, so that is nice timing for me!

Only completed Borderlands 3 fairly recently, so glad that is done before it was removed.

Not too shabby month for me, a few games from my wishlist that will be on the service.

Loved the first game, so will definitely play this at some point. Thanks for the review!

The Nintendo Seal of Quantity strikes again!

Been playing this all week and hopefully I'll will stick with it, as I've been a bit indifferent with similar games. But am really enjoying it so far. Not got beaten the first boss yet, but have just found the secret to use against it.

Massive fan of the first two films, so this definitely has me interested.

Cool, some games that are on my wishlist there. Whether I'll ever to actually get round to playing any of them is another matter.

I can recommend Inscryption. Great game and totally exceeded my expectations.

Used to be into fighting games when I was a kid, and played most of them that came out on whatever platform I was playing on. Not so much these days, the last couple I played I just couldn't get into them and ditched them after only a few hours.

Really enjoyed my time with Hollow Knight, but it seemed to never end and I ran out of steam before I could complete it. Maybe if the sequel was a bit less bloated or something, I would be a bit more interested. But seems like they are expanding on it. Oh well. 😕

After not being interested in the game at all, I certainly am now. Don't have a scooby when when I'll get to it though.

Not a good day in xbox land, with console sales being down by 30% in worst financial results so far...

My interest has definitely piqued after the decent reviews, but would like to play Dying Light 2 and a few other games I missed from last year before.

That is disappointing to hear about first party titles leaving the service. Looks like I'll be holding on to my copy of Horizon Forbidden West, in case I want to experience Burning Shores.

I wasn't so fussed on this when I tried the demo on Switch earlier this year. Looks cool with some great animation, but some of the gameplay and presentation was too old skool for my liking.
