Playing this at the moment and it's rather good! I saw that the update downloaded earlier and noticed that the menus and UI looked a bit different.

@MFTWrecks Yeah I agree. As much as I loved the game, getting the Platinum was such ball ache. I usually give up Platinum trophies when they are like that, but Returnal was so damn good to play, I couldn't stop myself.

Can't wait for this, could even be a rare day one purchase for me.

I've got a small lamp which makes the PS1 startup sound when switched on. Currenlty resides under my PS5 in my TV stand, next to two other PS themed lamps. #notafanboy

Liked the look of this ever since I first saw it. Hopefully there will be news of a PS5 version soon.

Loved Control, technical issues aside on PS4. I never did play the Ultimate edition when came to PS Plus with the dlc, as I had only recently completed the game and there is no way to transfer your saves.

@Mikey856 It is like when I first played a Sega game on a Nintendo console. Didn't feel right, almost alien lol.

Hmmmm, didnt realise the director was the map designer for Dark Souls. To date that is my favourite designed world in these games. Still, I shall wait until reviews as I've had a mixed history with rogue lites/likes and games designed with co-op play at the forefront.

I didn't even notice until Saturday afternoon when the welcome hub thingy was FUBAR. I was still able to play Ender Lillies so it was all good for me.

I'm the same as @Member_the_game, and am unable to stack subscriptions. Last time the dates did not align, I bought 3 months or monthly subscriptions and then let it expire when they were on sale.

I seem to be back online now. Hurrah!

I'll be lucky to finish one in under 100 hours. Witcher 3 took me over 400 to finish (with no dlc) and Elden Ring + Shadow dlc took me over 600.

I enjoyed what I played of the first game, albeit only the first couple of hours. Hopefully will get back to that soon, and if I end up liking it till the end, this will be on my radar.

Usually do the PS+ stuff for coins and have gotten a few 5 quid vouchers. I don't buy that many games these days so don't accumulate a great deal of points.

When dreams come true... this was a pleasant surprise to wake up to. I predict it will be a PS6 launch game at the earliest though.

This is the one game I was gutted I wouldn't get to play when MS bought the studio, so am glad it is coming to PS5. Will see about playing the DLC's for the first game as i think they are on PS Plus.

I am torn on this. As much as I love Elden Ring, I don't really play games in co-op (I'm not a chicken first off) and my history with roguelites/likes has been mixed.

And I'm not sure i really want to face The Nameless King again.

I enjoyed this what I played of it, but took a couple of breaks from and struggled to get back into. Also thought it introduced too many gameplay elements, and gave up when they introduced eggs and chickens. 😂

Since the new tiers started, I've only ever been able to get a discount on upgrading from Extra to Premium. So this year i let my sub lapse and then got a 3 month sub, and let it expire again so i could take advanage of the Days of Play sale for new memebers.
Probably shouldn't have to do all that just to extend my sub at the descounted price. I understand they don't won't people stacking for a few years at a time, but surely they should give existing memebers more options.

The update from Ubisoft makes this article a bit of a nothing burger. This happens quite a lot in industry I think.

I thought it was decent myself, I thought the way it handled grief in the story and the layout of the land sets it out from other similar games. I even got the platinum, which is rare for me.

Some of the backlash this game received was truly baffling. The trolls were certainly on form and and really pathetic.

Only Chorus from there for me. I got caught out with Gotham Knights leaving, and I'm really close to finishing it. Which is annoying. 😕

MS need to put some more pennies into the Xbox marketing piggy bank.

Oh wow, was not expecting this to review so well. The only Bloober Team game I've played is Observer: System Redux, which i really enjoyed.

This does follow the current trend of the good news/bad news yo-yo Playstation is having. Whatever comes next is is going to be awful lol.

Ah that's is a real shame. Have been a subscriber since the early PS4 days and a reader of video games mags since the Zzap! 64 days RIP in peace Play.

Most likely won't go back to this as already completed it. Not played the dlc, so maybe. But yet to play Burning Shores and would rather give that a go instead.

I dowloaded the trial last night. I enjoyed the first game, but did not like the 2nd game at all. Cool that they are supporting the game with free stuff.

I played this on my tablet last year, and quickly became addicted to it. It is one of those games that when I show it to people or explain it them, they turn their noses up at it.

Something to keep the FPS whiners at bay. I'm sure they will find something else to whinge about, like a blade of grass mixing a pixel.

I've yet to play this, but is top of my list when I next play one of these games. As I've just finished Shadow of the Erdtree, it is going to be awhile.

Is there supposed to be an expansion released, or is that not happening anymore?

Proving to be a real good test case for future X Box games coming to PlayStation.

Xbox is being run by a bunch of Homer Simpsons.

Some of the worst bosses in the series and some questionable geography decisions, but I still enjoyed it despite it's flaws. Definitely my least favourite of the FromSoftware games I've played. The DLC is so good though.

I skipped this at the time, as I was a bit bored of series by then and felt like I had outgrown them. If a PS5 version become available it would be up for giving it a go. But would prefer they did IX first, as that one I didn't play either.
