Planet Coaster Devs Announce Partnership with Disney on a New Management Sim 1

Frontier Developments, the team behind the Planet Coaster and Planet Zoo series, has announced it's teaming up with Disney on a new game.

In a press release, the company says it's partnered with Disney to "develop and publish a new game which will draw on Disney’s iconic portfolio of IP."

Frontier will fund and make the game, which will draw upon its "extensive experience and proven capabilities as a leader in the Creative Management Simulation genre," the press release says.

It sounds like the team is making another management sim, but this time working with Disney stuff.

This is purely speculative from me, but the first thing that springs to mind is a park-building game where you can make your own Disneyland.

Unfortunately, no details about Frontier's Disney game have been revealed at this point, so it could be very early days.

"We are delighted to announce this collaboration with Disney, which further reinforces our clearly defined strategy of developing and nurturing world-class creative management simulation game franchises," says Frontier CEO Jo Cooke.

"Our mission with this game is to connect a passionate creative community of players with one of the world's most iconic and beloved brands, and I can’t wait to see what our talented teams will create with this amazing opportunity.”
