Sony is creatively bankrupt it seems. Which is so weird cause they have some killer dormant IP. But i feel like I’ve been watching the same state of play for 3 years now.

I would like one of these, looks pretty cool to me but I am sure I won't get one. It will be sold out instantly by scalpers buying it. Maybe they should limit it to one per customer and only if you already bought GTA 6.

Nice enough, but I don't need a second DualSense. Launch it as a PS6 controller and, if I decide I get the console, I would be tempted by this one.

@TheDarts nah. They are boring controllers and Sony are sitting on good franchises, for example Resistance: Fall of Man, Killzone and Motorstorm

This was day one for Grand Theft Auto Five, I wasn't there for it, I bought it a long time after release but as you can see there's a map. I look at that and think 'we could have had this for Six too'. I'm not sure why there are two maps, one looks like tourism.

Pretty sure at least one of these is one of the astrobot duel speeder skins, much like this one:

Lovely controllers.

I hate the white controller that comes with the console so might do a little trade in and grab the white GTA as replacement.

2 months till release and we still don't have confirmation on the actors for Jason and Lucia (even though we basically know who they are)

Love both designs but I think I'm gonna have to try to get the white one. The pink just looks a bit nicer with it and the palm trees stand out a bit more in my opinion.

Off course last week it was decided we have to have a meeting on the 10th while normally i was at home. I would really like the white one but these will sell like crazy. I will not be home until midday so i dont get my hopes up. But it would really fit nicely in my white gameroom that is slowly coming together.

And the IWGB have tshirts about their worthy cause. What a union though - they said don't boycott GTA as devs gotta eat! They get it

This show was a turd, most State of plays are a turd. Bring on the June showcase with the bangers.

The black one looks good, and I will try to get one ahead of scalpers and millions of other GTA fans.

I’m not a GTA fan, but those are really really cool looking! I’m tempted, though can’t really justify getting another ps5 controller.

@PSGamer69420 i could care less if PS5 sold 250 million consoles to the FIFA, Madden and GTA crowd. This gen hasn’t had much for me to enjoy outside of God of War and Ratchet and Clank and Astro bot. Seems like this show did very little to move that needle.

I will wait to see what they have next June, hope to see intergalactic.

These GTA VI controllers look great, very clean but the cool glitter effect gives a nice sense of the glitz of Miami, or I should say, Vice City.

These will probably sell every unit that Sony makes of them with the popularity of GTAVI. I’m a sucker for themed controllers, I love my Astrobot (with the happy eyes), Marathon, and Genshin Impact Dualsense controllers, and best believe I’ll be going for these two as well.

Most of these DualSense colorway/editions look uninspired and too vanilla. I think Sony doing away with the iconic multi-colored Pink, Green, Square & Red font shape-based buttons was a big mistake with PS5. By taking that away, the DS just looks sterile and soulless.

I do like the Hyperpop lineup in regards to Rythem Blue, Remix Green & Techno Red. Midnight Black would of looked great too if it had Sony's rainbow colored face buttons, giving it that much needed pop, but alas. As is, it looks so generic and bland.

Hopefully the PS6 controller looks a little more unique, fun and intersting. But based on the way things have been progressed since the 2010's, I'm just expecting another bland white or black corporate box that fails to really differentiate itself from the steady flow of Sony & MS console boxes were constantly being hawked these days. They're doing the bare minimum, in fear of change, and to be none-intrusive, because the world is boring now and we're living in a corporate hellscape.

Feels like the Sega Dreamcast was the last amazingly beautiful, fun and ballsy looking console, combined with it's controller & VMU, that screamed 'this is the future'. It looked and felt magical back then. It was, after all the last console to come out of the 90's and it showed. But one could also argue the same for the GameCube controller. The GCN console itself was nothing to write home about in the looks department, albeit still somewhat unique with the lunch box styled design & mini-discs, but the controller design was easily the star of the show.

Since then, we've been getting XBOX360 & DualShock styled controllers with minor alterations along the way.
Video game console & Controller design has been uninspired and oh so boring for the last 15+ years. And it's funny, what completely saves the look of the NS2, are the neon orange & Blue analog stick underlay accents & colored side rails, otherwise it would look like a seemless slab of boring black plastic. It almost gives me Sega Genesis vibes, but in a more minimal less loud and flashy kind of way.

@WaveBoy give me a Nintemdo banana any day. Thos things were functionally great, comfortable and great for multi-player, local gaming which is practically dead now.

The tech is going backwards along with games. The PS3 controller used to be so easy to connect up to other controller for local play and had led lights to let you know which is which.
