As is always the case, the PS Store has a sale on right now — but it seems Sony has been feeling extra generous, as many of its first-party games are currently at their lowest ever prices.

In the Planet of the Deals sale, running from now until 4th November 2026, a number of Sony-published titles are at their deepest discounts to date.

Spotted by eagle-eyed bargain hunters on ResetEra, you can get the likes of Horizon Forbidden West, Shadow of the Colossus, and Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart for less than ever on PS Store.

Seeing as this is a somewhat unusual trend, we thought it'd be worth highlighting all the first-party stuff this currently applies to.

There are a handful of games that are only at their lowest in either North America or Europe; for example, Bloodborne hits a new low on the EU Store, but not in the US.

Anyway, have a look at Sony's cheap PS Studios games below.

Bloodborne PS4

£3.99 (-75%)

The spiritual successor to FromSoftware's supremely popular Dark Souls property, Bloodborne fuses the lip-smackingly satisfying combat of its predecessors with a frighteningly fast pace, resulting in the most intense action on the PS4. Harrowing Lovecraftian-like fiends and larger-than-life bosses vie for the attention of your Saw Blade, as the dingy districts of Yharnam intertwine. A steep difficulty curve can make this occasionally putrid escapade appear off-putting, but soldier through the skin and sinew and you'll find a bloodbath worth submerging in.

Death Stranding Director's Cut (Digital Deluxe Edition)

$14.99/£4.99 (-75%/-90%)

Death Stranding Director's Cut takes the truly unique "strand game" adventure and dials things up a notch for PS5. Hideo Kojima and his team created a haunting and strange world with the original game, tasking players with traversing a desolate and dangerous landscape to make deliveries. It shouldn't work, but it does — every step you take can be a risk, and this need to watch your footing is an interesting way to create tension, especially when those nasty BTs show up. Director's Cut enhances the experience with improved graphics and performance, DualSense support, 3D audio, and a range of new content.

Demon's Souls (Digital Deluxe Edition)

$13.49/£29.69 (-85%/-67%)

Sony comfortably hooked the enthusiast crowd by adding Demon’s Souls to the PS5’s launch lineup. FromSoftware’s legendary action RPG – which would go on to spawn the so-called Soulsborne series and, eventually, even Elden Ring – was snubbed by the Japanese giant during the PS3 era, as it felt early builds were simply not up to snuff. Publishers like Atlus and Bandai Namco eventually picked it up, and it went on to become a cult classic. Perhaps as a tacit admission that it made a mistake, its recruited tech specialists Bluepoint Games to remake the game for a modern era – and the results are remarkable. This version uses original PS3 code to make for an incredibly authentic experience, but its visuals are among some of the best you’ll find on Sony’s new-gen console. It’s an extraordinary blend of old and new that comes highly recommended.

Detroit: Become Human PS4

  • Standard: $4.99 (-75%)
  • Digital Deluxe Edition: $7.49 (-75%)

While so many interactive dramas cheat, Detroit: Become Human is the most adaptable narrative ever conceived. Lead characters can die in the opening hours of the story, and that’s the last you’ll see of them for the remainder of the campaign. The robotic revolution plotline can be a bit heavy-handed, but as with all Quantic Dream games, there are some real high-points that will stick with you long after the credits roll.

Everybody's Golf PS4

$4.99/£5.69 (-75%/-81%)

Developer Clap Hanz has been making cheerful, all-ages golf sims for a long time now, and it's only gotten better over time. The simply-named Everybody's Golf on PS4 is arguably the best iteration yet; the simple three-click gameplay remains as satisfying as ever, the physics are a fine balance of forgiving and realistic, and it looks and sounds very pleasant indeed. It features a new, semi-open structure, as well as fishing and, of course, plenty of customisation options. The online features are sadly a thing of the past, but this is still a lovely arcade golf game to play alone or with pals.

Horizon Forbidden West PS5

$14.99/£22.49 (-70%/-55%)

The sequel to Guerrilla Games' breakout hit, Horizon Zero Dawn, is bigger and better than its immediate predecessor in every single way. Horizon Forbidden West may retread familiar territory with its open world RPG adventure, but it improves upon the writing, introducing a worthwhile cast of characters for heroine Aloy to bounce off. New combat and exploration wrinkles, including a grappling hook, intensify the action, while the eponymous Forbidden West is a diverse sandbox, bursting with varied biomes and secrets to discover.

inFAMOUS: First Light PS4

$4.94/£3.95 (-67%)

inFAMOUS: First Light is a spin-off from the main series, starring the neon-powered conduit, Fetch. This standalone adventure has you playing as the character, telling the story of her past that led to her capture. It's another excuse to zip around an open world Seattle, and with a short run time, it's refreshingly brief. If you're after a slice of slick superhero action that doesn't outstay its welcome, this comes recommended.

inFAMOUS: Second Son PS4

$4.99/£4.63 (-75%/-71%)

Sucker Punch continues its popular superhero series with a brand new protagonist in inFAMOUS: Second Son. Taking the open world action to Seattle, you play as Delsin Rowe, a conduit with the amazing ability to absorb the powers of other superhumans. This gives you many more toys to play with as you progress, gaining unusual abilities based on smoke, neon, digital, and more. Exploring the city feels great, combat is fun and varied, and it looks fantastic — a great early showpiece for PS4.

Knack PS4

£3.99 (-75%)

Knack has become something of a meme; it's not exactly the best game PS4 has to offer, but it's still a perfectly playable action platformer — and it gave kids something to play at launch. Playing as the titular character, you can run around, collecting more parts to grow and shrink in size as levels go on. The change in size also affects gameplay, as a larger Knack is much more formidable in fights while small-fry Knack can explore different areas. It's far from perfect and is bettered in basically every way by its sequel, but there's still some fun to be had here.

Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls (Digital Deluxe Edition)

$67.99/£65.59 (-20%/-18%)

Fresh gameplay paired with unprecedented production values make for an all-star team-up in Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls. An accessible gameplay loop paves the way for impressive depth, hopefully securing this tag fighter’s place in the FGC scene for years to come. This title is a triumph on the PS5, and a reminder that Sony is capable of greenlighting compelling live service games when it puts its mind to it.

Marvel's Iron Man VR PS4

  • Standard: $9.99 (-75%)
  • Digital Deluxe Edition: $11.99/£4.49 (-76%/-90%)

Marvel's Iron Man VR delivers on the mission to make you feel like the armoured avenger. Some technical hiccups aside, this is a well rounded virtual reality title that takes advantage of the tech to immerse you in Tony Stark's world. It wins the day with fantastic controls and engaging combat, and the optional challenges will keep you busy once the story's wrapped up. If you don't mind waiting around in loading screens, this is a thoroughly enjoyable PSVR experience.

Marvel's Spider-Man 2 (Digital Deluxe Edition)

$31.99/£31.99 (-60%)

Insomniac Games delivers an ultra-fun sequel in Marvel's Spider-Man 2. Refining pretty much everything that came before while delivering another rollicking superhero story, this is about as solid a follow-up as you could hope for. While it'll be fairly familiar if you've played the other games, new features tip it over the edge. The Web Wings are a huge boon for traversal, combat has been smartly refined, and the side content is more meaningful. It's a real crowd-pleaser, and is another shiny jewel in Sony's PS5 crown.

MediEvil PS4

£4.24 (-83%)

A true fan favourite, MediEvil returns in a PS4 remake that brings Sir Dan back from the dead with revamped visuals and updated controls. While there are still a fair amount of rough edges, this is a well-realised remake of a flawed-but-fun action adventure. If you have fond memories of the PS1 original, this definitely comes recommended, but beware some inherited issues and an iffy camera.

Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart PS5

$27.99/£29.39 (-60%/-58%)

Up until Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart released, Insomniac Games’ dynamic duo had been wilting in the wilderness a little bit. The PS4 reboot, Ratchet & Clank, was well-received – but it felt lightweight compared to classic series entries, like Ratchet & Clank: A Crack in Time. Fortunately, while Rift Apart doesn’t necessarily reinvent the wheel, it does deliver the series’ first full-scale adventure in well over a generation. This is a game that feels great to play, thanks in part to stunning DualSense integration and some of the glitziest special effects this side of the galaxy. It’s a little more throwaway than many of the PS5’s other exclusives, but its thoroughly entertaining while it lasts, and the introduction of new characters like Rivet mean there’s a lot of life left in this series yet.

Ratchet & Clank: Size Matters PSP

$6.99/£5.59 (-30%)

Size doesn’t matter – but we suppose that was the joke! Ratchet & Clank: Size Matters was the first handheld instalment in Insomniac Games’ action-platformer franchise, although development duties were led by High Voltage Games. Despite later being ported to the PS2, the gameplay felt right at home on Sony’s portable platform, sticking closely to the blueprints established by the main console games. That means plenty of explosive armaments, including some returning favourites like the Hypershot and RYNO.

Rise of the Ronin (Digital Deluxe Edition)

$32.79/£31.99 (-59%/-60%)

Rise of the Ronin is another challenging action game from Team Ninja, the makers of Nioh and Ninja Gaiden, only this time it's fully open world. The game combines cutthroat sword-fighting action with a huge chunk of historical Japan to explore, giving you various ways to get around and make the most of the setting. With some novel gameplay elements alongside numerous real faces from Japanese history, Rise of the Ronin is a unique open world experience on PS5.

Shadow of the Colossus PS4

$4.99/£3.59 (-75%/-88%)

What can be said about Shadow of the Colossus that hasn't been said already? It's truly among PlayStation's best games, and this PS4 remake presents it in the best possible light. Set in a barren open world, devoid of almost all life, you must venture out and slay numerous colossi that are peacefully roaming the land. Each of these boss-style encounters is a puzzle in itself, and they each feel like epic confrontations thanks to incredible animation and music. Remade on PS4, it looks and runs better than ever, too. A bona fide classic.

The Last of Us Part I (Digital Deluxe Edition)

$19.99/£23.99 (-75%/-70%)

Forever tainted by its high launch price, The Last of Us Part I is a faithful remake of Naughty Dog's 2013 masterpiece that brings the post-apocalyptic adventure up to modern standards. While the gameplay is largely untouched, its visuals shine with stunning character models, gorgeous backdrops, and an abundance of detail to ensure there's something to look at in every corner. Some will forever question why it was needed, but The Last of Us: Part I has never looked better.

Until Dawn PS4

$4.99/£3.99 (-75%)

Supermassive Games made a real name for itself with Until Dawn. This narrative adventure game effectively lets you partake in a schlocky teen horror movie, where your choices will have potentially grisly effects on the ensemble cast. With atmosphere to spare, lovably corny performances, and a highly replayable adventure full of outcomes to discover, it's no wonder this game is such a cult hit.
