PS5 Exclusive Intergalactic's Alleged New Webpage Is No Big Deal At All 1

Fans are freaking out about a “new” Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet website, but it’s nothing to get excited about at all.

We’re not sure why chatter about the PlayStation.com page started to circulate today, but a look back at Archive.org confirms the page has existed, in its current format, since January 2025.

That makes sense, because the Naughty Dog exclusive was announced at The Game Awards in December 2024, so we suspect the page was uploaded shortly thereafter.

It’s populated by the same assets and information we’ve seen before, and describes the release as the “newest franchise from Naughty Dog”.

Here’s what the blurb says:

“Set thousands of years in the future, Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet puts players into the role of Jordan A. Mun, a dangerous bounty hunter who ends up stranded on a distant planet known as Sempiria.

Jordan will have to use all her skills and wits if she hopes to be the first person in over 600 years to leave its orbit.

Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet has been in development since 2020, with Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross scoring a stellar soundtrack to accompany you on your adventure.”

Again, all of this information has existed on the same URL since at least January 2025, so there’s nothing to get excited about here.

Fans had taken the emergence of the website as “evidence” of some kind of upcoming re-reveal, but seeing as the page has existed for well over a year now, we’re not buying that.

Of course, with a 2027 release date expected, we’ll be seeing more of Jordan and Naughty Dog’s new adventure relatively soon, we suspect.
