Why isn't it for 2026 games ; seems a bit late to include games from 2025.
I hope other games win lots of awards.
I like the game but is massive overrated and is getting annoying seeing the same one getting the majority of the awards
They almost sound like this was the 2nd coming of Jesus in gaming form
Shout out to Troy Baker, up for two acting awards this year and will still probably walk away with no BAFTA wins.
It should be nominated for even more awards.
Are we ready to talk about how its a 8/10 at best
Crazy how a great focused game, not too much bloat, good story and gameplay does well.
KCD2 is the real winner, not even nominated.. Clair Obscur is so overrated
I really loved this game but the glazing over it is unreal
@YeyoFairy this is like being annoyed that people like to drink water and eat food.
Deserves all the love it's gotten. Wonderful game! Can't wait to see what Sandfall does next.
We live in a world where Roblox has more users than PSN and mumble rap is popular. E33 accumulating awards it has no business being associated with doesn’t surprise me.
I primarily play on ps5, but calling this a "ps5 rpg" is a bizarre choice.
Getting real tired of this game winning everything. I’m sure it’s a great game and it set a certain bar for the industry but plenty of other games deserve their moment. This one had its run. Congrats to the team but let’s move on.
For a game that everyone ‘glazes’, all I see is people ripping into it while saying that everyone is glazing it. The power of extreme polarisation being peddled by social media.
@space_g0blin It has moved precisely zero bars. And it's more "not bad but gets incredibly repetitive" rather than "great".
@nessisonett I liked it plenty. Not an all timer for me, but it got me and kept me engaged all the way through. It never overstayed its welcome. I appreciate games like that
@HRdepartment You’d think it had killed somebody’s pet or something, the way that people are so desperate to hate on it. The truth is probably somewhere in the middle.
@Frmknst Just give it up, dude.
I liked the game, wouldnt call it one of the best games of all time, probably not even the best game of 2025.
But it definetly shows what heights JRPG sub-genre can reach if you cut the anime tumor out of it. Overall 8/10 game imo.
Hades 2 all the way
I feel the same way about CO:E33 as I did with BG3. Great games 8/10. I played better games the years that they came out, but something about gaming and groupthink made these bigger than they were looking back on it.
I can understand also when games reach a certain critical mass in the the media at large, that gamers rally behind it thinking "yeah, now we're mainstream too, and we don't have to hang our heads in shame at our choice of entertainment." Everybody likes a winner.
@nessisonett tbh that’s how I am about GaaS. So I guess I shouldn’t throw too many stones.
@Frmknst Still the best game I played last year, better than the sum of it's parts. Made me feel like a kid playing a new Final Fantasy for the first time but in 2025, felt like a fresh take on turn-based JRPGs.
If you didn't like it, that's fine, we all like different things, but many CLEARLY did. Is that really so hard to accept???
@MrPeanutbutterz
The bar I’m referring to is how many junior artists and developers were given a chance to work on this to launch their careers. You don’t see many junior roles in this industry. So this was a big eye opener for why juniors and devs are the lifeblood of the future of this industry. Especially now with senior and lead talent exhausted and upset with the current climate and junior’s passionate and excited about their career future.
Doesn’t change the end result of how 33 turned out being repetitive and all but least it’s some more people had jobs.
