It feels like there's a new video game showcase to look forward to constantly; we've just had the Future Games Show, and now, another one has popped up.
This time, it's the return of the Triple-i Initiative, a presentation devoted to games occupying the space from indies to AA titles.
There have been a couple of these before and they always feature lots of interesting games, so we've no doubt this will be worth tuning into.
The Triple-i Initiative is set for 9th April 2026 at the following times:
- North America: 9am PDT / 10am MDT / 11am CDT / 12pm EDT
- UK/Ire: 5pm BST
- Europe: 6pm CEST / 7pm EEST
- Asia/Oceania: 1am (Fri) JST / 12am (Fri) AWST / 2am (Fri) AEST
We know some of the studios taking part in the showcase, perhaps most notably including Evil Empire, the developer behind Castlevania: Belmont's Curse, the recently announced new entry in Konami's beloved franchise.
The game is confirmed to be part of the show, alongside around 40 others during its 45-minute runtime. That number will include a mix of news about already-announced games as well as brand new announcements.
Granted, not every game shown will be heading to PS5 and PS4, but there will be at least a handful of things to look forward to.
Will you be tuning in for this? Tell us in the comments section below.

Risk of Rain 2 will be part of this event, so I'll definitely watch it
Bloodborne 2 confirmed.
Typical lame PushSquare headline making it like the game is a PS5 exclusive. Should be "Konami's New Castlevania the Star of 40+ Game Showcase Presentation Next Month".
That’s a pretty big game for them to showcase. Good on them to be gaining traction. Personally, I feel like I’m waiting on a number of releases to give us updates in the AA and indie space.
Spring 2026 has basically begun and no update from Mina the Hollower. Nothing from Witchbrook in basically a year. Big Walk got a small spot in the SoP, but with basically no details. We got a release date for the new Bubsy game, but if it’s coming in May, where’s the press for it? Future Knight’s had a demo, so maybe it’s about time for that one. Orbitals has been a summer 2026 release since December last year when it was announced. These are just a few of the big indies and AAs on the docket right now. I’m not expecting a line-up like this, but it would be nice to have a release schedule this year beyond April with more titles than GTA. I know there’s a few release dates out there, but there’s not many.
That new Castlevania has so much potential. Excited about that one.
The headline makes it sound like an exclusive.
I never played Castlevania Legends and i heard it was scrap from the canon timeline. So i'm curious how they gonna used Sonia Belmont and make her canon.
