It's still bloody weird, isn't it? Halo on PlayStation.

But this is our new reality, because Halo: Campaign Evolved is out right now on PS5 — and I want to know if you're actually playing it.

If you lived through the PS2 and original Xbox generation like I did, followed by extreme console warring of the PS3 and Xbox 360 era, then there's a good chance that simply seeing Master Chief pop up on your PS5's menu feels surreal.

Campaign Evolved recreates (and slightly reimagines) Bungie's initial Xbox adventure, although as the name suggests, there's no multiplayer component this time around. It's just the campaign, remade from the ground up.

This game was always going to be a big deal because of the circumstances that surround it, but it's also managed to snag plenty of high review scores.

Our own Liam Croft gave it a 9/10 in our Halo: Campaign Evolved PS5 review, concluding: "Halo: Campaign Evolved has brought back a true classic in style, faithfully remaking and expanding one of the best shooters of all time."
