I think it speaks volumes how they made this game barely a year after the RE2 remake, it's just classic Capcom, they make something succesful and then they try to immediatedly capitalize with half hearted efforts. I'm expecting a new Devil May Cry announcement soon.

I'm going to be the first to admit that I didn't even give this game a chance and never intend to. The 3v3 aspect of it was such a huge turnoff and from what I hear they skimmed on features big time compared to the PSP Dissidia duodecim in favor of pushing the online. I would love to get something like similar to Duodecim again some day, that game was so incredibly packed with content and even had large amounts of stuff to do just for single player.

I loved Persona 5 and yeah, I'd say it was my goty for 2018, which was the year I played it in, but honestly I don't really think I'm ready to replay it quite this soon. Also I feel Persona is so reliant on its story that I don't think it's particularly suitable for replays unfortunately just in general.

Be as it may PS1 is one of the best consoles ever made whereas N64 is among the very, especially for Nintendo.

I got this game "free" on Wii U through the Mario Kart 8 deal, I tried it for like half an hour, failed to see the appeal at all.

This review actually got me curious and I went and purchased it, seems really fun from the tiny bit I got to play it before. Thanks for the reviewer for bringing this into my radar.

For the sake of the fans of who actually like these remakes I do hope they give this one the dedication it deserves. Sure they've got the engine they can just recycle but to me it really does seem like they're pumping this out alarmingly fast.

That's what I was thinking.

They've added the extra CaS parts from season 1 at this point right? I dropped SC6 pretty quick after realizing that the CaS was a downgrade from the one in SC5 in terms of how many parts there were but if it's gotten better since then it might be worth checking. Did they confirm if the Season 2 DLC would include any extra CaS parts aside from whatever minor stuff that comes with the characters themselves?

PS1 is still in my opinion one of the finest consoles ever made alongside the SNES.

All I really got to say about this thing is that at least I still have the original game. I'm sorry but turning this remake into an action game completely killed any interest I could've potentially had.

Quite hyped for this one, I'm going to wait and see if the Switch port is going to be passable but if that bombs then I'm glad that I always have my PS4 to fall back on.

Tsk, tsk Atlus. As good as their games are it's a shame they're up there as one of the most DLC crazed companies there are. I don't think super bosses should ever be DLC by itself unless they come together with a substantial new dungeon or something. And I'd say it's even worse here since the game is already an enchanced version, forcing you to buy a whole new game and you can't simply update the old game with the new content.

Just like with OG Persona 5 this probably won't be day one for me, but I will get it at some point for sure (While keeping some vain hope alive that at some point there will be a Switch port eventually), I think at this point it is about a year since I finished the original. Truly amazing game.

It's good, but I'm not into action games, thankfully there is still the original.

Final Fantasy used to be a turn-based RPG and nowadays it's an action RPG series, that transition pissed me off so much so I can totally understand why people would be peeved by such a big genre shift. Personally I would probably prefer the new style.

I absolutely fail to see the point on why anyone would use these (aside maybe the encounter elimination thing for special challenges), but w/e it's not like they hurt me by being there.

That old screen cap always makes me laugh, FF8 is not exactly my favorite game in the series but I've been looking forward to revisiting it nonetheless, for all its faults it has quite possibly the best soundtrack in the entire series, which IS saying a lot.

Didn't care for the idea of this rerelease at first but after I heard the new battle theme I'm pretty hyped for this, never was a fan of the OG battle theme at all (To the point where I was forced to buy a DLC outfit that replaced it).

And still no team battle or the ability to remove the dumb super moves I assume?

I found the new Tekken to be a massive disappointment, Soul Calibur a bit too but not quite as much. The super moves completely ruin the Tekken gameplay for me.

King of Fighters 14 is my personal favorite PS4 fighting game.

My favorite kart racing game alongside Diddy Kong Racing. I truly do believe that both of these games completely trump any and all Mario Karts.

In many aspects this is my favorite entry in the series, I'll definitely consider getting it.

Suikoden Trilogy? Vandal Hearts collection? Make it happen Konami.

As a big Castlevania fan I've been waiting for an opportunity to try out Haunted Castle...

And honestly I didn't think it was nearly as bad as people have made it out to be. The first runthrough was kinda painful but after doing that and watching a good no-damage playthrough I can go through the game on normal difficulty without too much hassle and in the end I had quite a bit of fun with it, my ears in particular enjoyed it, seriously that soundtrack is gold.

Also got enjoyment out of Gradius 1, 2 and Life Force and whatever the last game of the collection was called.

The oldest shooter in the collection, Twinbee, and the pretend 3Dish shooter I didn't really care about.

I hope Konami keeps up with these collections, they may not be able to make new games anymore but if they make their old stuff readily available like this then they do have my respect and money (Suikoden collection, make it happen, oh and Vandal Hearts too!). Really looking forward to the Castlevania collection as well.

I was hoping for Castlevania Chronicles myself, I find that one super underrated.

Still definitely going for it, Bloodlines was a very nice game to have here and Kid Dracula was a pleasant surprise. Wonder if it's going to be the Famicom version or the Gameboy one? The former was never released outside of japan.

I tried it on the PS3 and I just couldn't get into it whatsoever, the anime high school setting didn't do it for me first of all (Persona does it much better I think), and I didn't really care for the super railroaded story progression, also disappointingly enough after hearing so much praise for the soundtrack on these games I found it merely okay.

So basically Dead or Alive 5 vanilla. That game eventually did get better, quite good in fact, hopefully this one will too.

Meh, wasn't a fan of Tekken 7. The lack of team battle and the super moves that have no place in Tekken ruined it for me. The story mode was also a complete waste of time.

I'll keep playing Tekken Tag 2 for my Tekken needs.

I do have a lot of respect for Atlus but they definitely have become totally DLC crazed ever since they started doing it. Locking optional super bosses behind it is probably the worst of it.

I was going to buy it, but my friend decided to buy a physical copy of the game, so I figured I'll just borrow it once he's done. I'm in no hurry.

That doesn't sound like something you should just try to laugh off.

I got the game yesterday and personally so far I'm unimpressed, the character customization just feels more limited and barebones compared to the one in SC5. Libra of Souls is dull as hell with endless streams of text that doesn't really seem to amount to much of anything. Haven't tried the other story mode yet, but the two things I was most excited for with the game were both strikes for me unfortunately.

I remember this character from that one PS1 Spiderman game. Good game.

I hope this runs decently on that base PS4. Not gonna lie this game looks like it could be kinda cool.

I would've preferred it on the Switch honestly but I suppose I take what I can get.

It does look quite nice, don't have much interest in the game though. I've found every single KH after the first one average to straight out bad, also Nomura storytelling & dialogue just doesn't do it for me.

Will be listening to the soundtrack though definitely.

This is so far the only game I've ever played that I just didn't understand whatsoever. Like I looked at the tutorial and all but I just couldn't figure out how the combat system worked, it was really bizarre.

I will get this at some point for sure, but I've been hearing about the game having average soundtrack, and sadly that is one of the worst things a long JRPG could have in my opinion.

So what about the King Knight campaign? Will that come with this one?

Add team battle and add a feature to remove the freaking super moves from offline battles.

They did get Lei and Anna who were pretty much the two characters I would have had return first so that's good at least.

Looks good, but it's such a shame all of this is wasted since this particular Dissidia just wasn't very good at all. Maybe next time, just make it play similarly to PSP Dissidia, make it 1v1 focused once again and allow playing multiplayer offline with one PS4, then we'll talk.

Never really cared about trophies, but it's not as if their existence bothers me either. It's whatever.

But holy **** PS3 is already 10 years old?

I love Resident Evil 2, I'm cautiously excited for this. As long as it doesn't turn into some cinematic walking simulator it should be fine.

About time they clarified that, as long as it's at least on par with the one they had with SC5 I will be perfectly fine with it. Could use some more indepth face customization though.
