shrugs people want that company to trash that handheld w a 3D screen and while people don’t really care if Sony trashes Vita or not since Sony unlike that company isn’t putting a % of resources into it but hey for both it’s only a matter of time

But hey at least Vita will leave with the Story of it wasn’t the biggest failure of the 8th Generation Of Consoles.

Once again Kingdom Hearts 3 and some of Capcom’s next releases may help but otherwise if Monster Hunter World G or whatever is next for MH only on PlayStation in Japan (MP outside of Japan) (Not DLC a actual release), Dragon Quest XII, Maybe Yokai Watch jumps Systems, etc and they don’t hit That underpowered System then PlayStation 4 May see a jump in HW sales. Basically yes exclusives at least in Japan.

If Shin Megami Tensei V also came to PS4 or jumped platform then I can see that selling PlayStations too.

@Flaming_Kaiser Well it’s more Sony has that level of standard with thier Systems. With Sony’s home console systems you’ll always get a standard experience. Yeah the DS4 looks slightly different but it still felt like a standard controller. Adding a touchscreen gimmick breaks that level of standard and feels like Sony is trying to appeal an audience that flat out doesn’t want nor care for this feature... But hey may not be bothered with...

@oli_uk especially if they go nuts about it in marketing then you’ll feel... alienated maybe slightly irked/betrayed (ok a little exaggerated on the latter but hey some gamers DO NOT like gimmicks) the Box with a X’s Idea of Motion Controls alienated, PlayStation gamers did NOT give 2 dangs for the PlayStation Move and yes VR is a thing... but it’s um... not the most must have thing to everyone.

Cus gamers don’t exactly like it when Console Manufacturers try to experiment and get out of the norm... gamers basically don’t like gimmicks. Now I may not speak for everyone but when THAT company does stuff like Motion Controls it’s rode off as just yet another gimmick.

Only way I can see this working and this would scream “Why did you do this in the first place?” And this would jack up pricing but a controller w a touch screen but another controller packaged in a PS5 bundle that is traditional.

Otherwise it’d have to be as non intrusive as that touch pad which good luck w that one...

I think this show this year will be the Sony Game Awards With Announcements sprinkled around for other platforms

Since THAT company that has that box with the X on it didn’t have many outstanding acclaimed titles this year. One buggy to some disappointing Zombie game sequel, one unfinished disappointing Pirate game from a company that is a shell of its former self, one racing game, and that it.

THAT other company w a underpowered Tablet has only released a few GaaS games, some Multiplayer games, some disappointing games, and lots of expensive ports also a party/fighting (although to some the latter well... that is arguable) game that makes me think of PlayStation All Stars Battle Royale and want a sequel... BADLY!

Finally you got Sony with... The Game of the Generation God of War 2018 (or 4 whatever floats your boat), Detroit: Become Human, the greatest Superhero game out there w one of the greatest Superheroes known to all: Spider Man, Marvel’s Spider Man. I know it’s only 3 games but I can see at least 2 of these games sweeping up a good few awards!

There’s a few 3rd Party games that were good like Red Dead Redemption 2, Soul Calibur VI, Monster Hunter World, etc. But most likely it’s gonna be Sony that’s gonna take some awards and the GoTY award quite possibly!

If you’re wondering why I think Sony w 2-3 titles can get a buncha awards. Well look at last year... THAT other company easily took a buncha awards w 1-2 titles w thier usual franchises plus look at all the acclaim GoW & Spider Man got from gamers and critics alike. Yes RDR2 got critically acclaimed too but it’s still possible GoW/Spidey/Detroit: BH more likely the other 2 will take home some awards maybe even GoTY.

Obviously there’s hard punches against buying this... Price, Controllers, AC Adaptor, and now subjectively the games. Now ofc you can counter all of these or defend all of these but hey they have thier choices...
