@Jaz007 for Japan it’s not like they won’t budge it’s more like they have it already same w the West... do I think P5 will sell millions on Switch? Nah maybe a few thousand... now if P6 came to both systems I can see Switch getting some sales... although now Switch is getting both SMT & Persona Which prob isn’t fair but I guess business...

Can push someone into doing something like buying a game they initially had little interest in or go as far as buying a console, the game, a Season Pass, an Amiibo, and even an Online Service (Which is crazy)... (that’s $400+)

@OmegaYato Bayo 1 is on Xbox One via Backwards Compatibility (it’s the definitive CONSOLE ver of the game) and Steam.

“What are some current big names we can use that people know from PS4?” basically they also want those who bought a PS4 to make have thier 👀 to possibly look into this... it works well for Nintendo since thier audience loves nostalgia (to an extent) if you look at the particular indie games that sold well on Switch (they’re callbacks/pokes to the past... particularly the NES/SNES era with some additions [although I’m sure those indie games did fine enough on PlayStation]) and the success of the NESC/SNESC. Ofc on the PlayStation Classic there is some classic games but there’s also obscure games as well or tone deaf choices...

@wiiware it’s more a case of Sony using these IPs from the modern day to advertise the system like “Do you like Grand Theft Auto, or do you like Rainbow Six Seige? Well try out the OG Rainbow Six?” Some games don’t scream classic but some games fit Sony’s agenda while also being... classic... but some choices are more for attempting for diversity and such but they are questionable.

Just a bit more and then it’ll FINALLY be worth it!

Both sides are playable... although whether you like it or not this is the future of the series... your best bet is prob if the Portable Team makes a MH that somewhat is like the Traditional games with maybe some QoL changes whilst keeping the platform of development in mind...

Its strange this is one of those IPs that screams it can work and can be a good movie

Plus this team is diff than the team that did MHGenerations... the team that did MHGen likes to find some crazy new gimmick...

@GKO900 it’s not really needed and may come off as gimmicky... plus there are some that just outright hate it Heck some say Generations/Generations Ultimate is some of the WORST Monster Hunter games out there (and no it’s not cus of platform but its a mix of its gimmick and repetition)
