I can see a story mode that’s a bit ambitious kinda like Subspace Embassary from Smash Brawl but more Story and cutscenes rather than running around... you prob would go from fight to fight but they’d be connected and prob the characters would have a form of development w each other and connection. It’d be wierd/surreal but it’d feel like PlayStation has a form of universe of characters similar to Nintendo just a different feel tho.

@get2sammyb it requires ambition + passion... yes they do gotta think outside the box but they also need characters that Smash doesn’t have... also gotta actually dig deep into the history of PlayStation and have characters that resonate with PlayStation fans from both 1st & 3rd Party...

@Flaming_Kaiser I don’t necessarily hate Sony I just wonder can Spidey or GoW get into CoD levels of sales... even if they’re exclusives... although they only needs hit 18-20ish Million copies. I was only stating some facts. I’d be interested in seeing if Spidey or GoW can outsell TLoU maybe even outsell Kinect Adventures.

The Japanese don’t have a big crazy thing for Fighting games while yes Smash will sell... the Japanese are very VERY selective. It won’t increase Switch sales too intensely much. It will keep it from going back to its usual 30-50K a week however... at least til January... where the next game to make Switch explode in Japan is Fire Emblem. Although until then PlayStation May enjoy a big sales bump thanks to this niche small game from a small dev and publisher it’s called Kingdom Hearts 3 from ya know this niche company who makes wierd JRPGs called Square Enix...

(Obviously joking about the small stuff there but it will increase PlayStation 4 sales... for a while)

3rd Party requires Sony can attempt to do some sorta special deal w 3rd Party Japanese publishers to make exclusive yearly popular franchises that resonate w the Japanese audience. For example if Sony talked w Capcom for Monster Hunter to be exclusive w PlayStation (think PS2/PSP days) but every year you’ll get Monster Hunter insert title here and the next year here’s another Monster Hunter insert title here and then there’s other IPs like Level 5’s Yokai Watch series.

Caveat is Sony doesn’t care for Japan... and the feels can be real w the Japanese people as they prob don’t care about most of these games that aren’t really meant for them...

@paulo_godoy_BR it depends on the games... the PS4 didn’t do too well in Japan initially for one reason: The games initially released weren’t exactly for the Japanese audience it was.... for the Western audience.

@Wazeddie22 Well it’s not exactly the same w World just w weapons I will say since MHW does not have Styles or arts (it’s simpler but at the same time some really likes The flashiness)

If you’re gonna play GenU after World I do hope you’re open minded and are willing to accept the differences cus if not you’re gonna hate GenU a lot... it is very possible for MHW to spoil you hard.

@Wazeddie22 Sword And Shield is considered a beginning class and guild style is very simple. Now after that if you feel you wanna put on your Hunter lab coat and start experimenting then have at it you’ll feel like you’re dipping your toe in different pools. Some may feel like an extension to your abilities.

Would I recommend the game? That’s on you. It comes with lots to hunt. 93 monsters, hundreds to near a thousand armors and weapons to craft, and so much more. There’s thousands of quests for you to do.

Oh yeah one more thing... if you plan on not going online it is possible to solo everything but I hope you have time on your hands. Cus some later monsters hehe... take a while... (although this can be the same for MHW Although it is a person by person, skill by skill basis)

If I had to tell you a class and style to use the beginner one is SnS with Guild style. It’s a game about you experimenting. GaijinHunter has guides and is really great with guiding lost people in the game he even has a Discord w people who can help you!

If you were using the demo apparently according to MH fans the demo is horrible and doesn’t represent the game all that well...

@Wazeddie22 hmm I think World is better to introduce ya to MH, but I do think by the end you prob won’t ever wanna play GenU. So you’d best consider MHW a reboot. Did you play the demo or you bought GenU?

I like the battery life. The price can go in the Trash tho

@Athrum many others has as well but Currently Capcom is busy getting the PC ver to where PS4/Xbox One ver are. They’re close they just need some Events, Luna Which is Soon, and Behemoth then Capcom can come in w the mons from that leaked list and either announce other stuff or something else
