But the reason Sega is doing alright isn’t because of thier main IP which is Sonic who only does ok sales wise... but because of Yakuza & Atlus particularly because of Persona.

@jdv95 prob Timed Exclusives similar to 7 Remake Episodes. I could see Sony controlling the platforms it goes on... like it’d prob also come to PC but that’s possibly it. If not Timed Exclusives.

I think Kojima/Insomniac are definitely realistic & some other companies as well.

But I don’t expect Sony to go big w acquisitions as even with the amount of money Sony makes & has in the bank... they only have so much money/resources to work with & some of the bigger corporations will go hard on em if they even think about it...

@FullbringIchigo that’s possible but straight up owning Square Enix is unrealistic unless Square suddenly loses Billions of dollars to a point where they either get bought up or fall.

@LightingThor Atlus, no. They’d have to go thru Sega who isn’t bleeding money & Atlus is prob profitable to Sega as a company.

@jdv95 From Software is a no-go because unless Kadokawa Corporation is willing to give em up... but I’m sure FromSoftware is very profitable to them since From Software’s games really sell a lot of copies.

Sony is more likely to get companies that isn’t a subsidiary.

@wiiware I think it’s the same but now it’s more like chess or like SuperHot when you move the enemies move so it becomes Zelda Chess or a Zelda strategy game. You use the same character you’re currently using but you can go 2P & with a friend have Cadence join in to help you out.

@3Above I think it’s in concept... like you can play anywhere so long as you have a decent connection...and can seamlessly go from your smartphone to your PC to your Tablet... which is cool.

@Ralizah surprised he prob doesn’t realize that unless you count the 3DS ver (which is 🇯🇵ese Exclusive) the PS4 ver will be the top selling ver with the PC Ver prob 2nd & Switch ver 3rd

The Japanese market ain’t gonna buy it because... they already have it. (It’ll be sub 100/500K) Also it’s cheaper on 3DS & PS4 ver Prob has a nice discount.

West: I think Sony will dab on Nintendo by discounting DQXI on PS4, same w Steam... it’ll prob be $30 maybe near $20... while the Switch ver yes it has more content & such but it’s gonna be the full AAA retail price... ($60)
