Dreams is all the rage right now when it comes to player creation, but don't rule out Media Molecule's previous franchise, LittleBigPlanet, just yet. Much like what he did with the original Super Mario Maker, prolific inventor Claptrap9 has re-made Super Mario Maker 2's creation suite in LittleBigPlanet 3.
It's well worth checking out in the video above, courtesy of GameXplain, which takes a look at what's possible within what is still a single level in the game. Sticking to the Super Mario World style, you can change the theme, place straight and sloped tiles, and deploy a number of classic Mario enemies. The physics aren't quite the same as Nintendo's favourite plumber, but it's an impressive attempt from just a single person. Especially so when you consider that Claptrap9 is just 14 years old.
Will you be ditching the Nintendo Switch in favour of LittleBigPlanet 3? Share your creations in the comments below.

Wow, the person who created this must be very talented.
The Real question is can you make little big planet in super mario maker 2?
@crimsontadpoles The creator is also 14, so he really has a future.
Frankly, LBP has been Super PlayStation Maker to a large extent for ages as it is.
But can Mario Maker 2 built in dreams
I can't wait to see what it looks like in Dreams.
Dang. I’m sure with this could have be remade with the same physics. It’s looks like Sony’s Dreams puts Mario Maker to a shame and makes it look like a scam comparatively. They’re selling a part what LBP3’s level creator can do as an entire $60 game.
@Jaz007 question is can Media Molecule sue?
Also you know Mario Maker will be more popular than Dreams that’s how it is I suppose
@Neolit now I want Will it Blend in Dreams.
Man, that's crazy.
He's 14?!
Level creation is so accessible in Mario Maker though compared to Dreams, I love both games but I can see why they both exist and meet different needs for a lot of people.
Very talented child. He'll definitely be doing cool stuff in the future if he keeps applying his talents.
@Jaz007 Not really. Mario Maker is as much about sharing your creations online and playing the creations of others as it is about making the actual levels. And 2D Mario level creation tools have been available on PC for ages.
@Mince Hope you enjoy this fanboy theme in your PS4 while you can! 😁👌
wow... very cool. LBP, MM2, Dreams... great tools to be out there for people to be creative.
14??? Are you sure you ain't missing any digits anywhere...
@IronHammersFC everyone has a future
someone buy this kid a copy of dreams!!
@WetWildWendy I meant in the coding/ game development industry if this is what he is doing at 14, but you have corrected me. Thanks
@JoeBlogs Probably more likely given the quality
