Story advancements have come a long way. So to focus on story advancements over other aspects of a game is questionable. It seems like Western video games are ironically becoming less "game" Hellblade 2 is an excellent example of this. Instead of building on top of the gameplay element's of Hellblade 1 it totally strip's back the gameplay element's. Hellblade 2 suceeds at being a visual showcase but totally misses the point about being a video game.

There is a reason it has good graphics because there is nothing going on under the hood & it's a very linear game with very little combat (gameplay). It's basically a tech demo. I seen some people compare it to The Order 1886, The Order 1886 is an actual game. Instead of building upon Hellblade they've stripped it back and focus on graphics. Graphics in a game can get you so far, a game still has to have a good story & most importantly gameplay. I haven't even tried it yet on my XSX, I'll probably play it at some point for the achievements.

This game is a hard pass. And if I do ever buy it that'll be because it's on sale for £5-8.

I picked this up on PSN sale not that long ago with it came with all the DLC. Looking forward to playing it.

Bad move on Microsoft part Arkane Austin made Prey excellent game, Redfall wasn't a reason to shut them down one bad game. Tango Game's The Evil Within, Hi-Fi Rush excellent games also, I brought Hi-Fi Rush again on my PS5. Not played GhostWire PS5 yet but I am going to. Such sad news. But Microsoft has already had a bad reputation for management going back to the original Halo.

Call of Duty was the best selling franchise when Microsoft used to buy COD exclusivity off Activision for the Xbox360. So tell me how COD among quite a few others games are "Microsoft first-party" game's? COD IP is only owned by Microsoft. It would be like saying Destiny 2 is a Sony first-party game which obviously isn't the case.

The modifiers are for NG+. I got this game on sale in one of the sales at Xmas, I am so glad I hadn't started this game yet as it's the best version to play with all the updates. Also it's added quite a few new trophies.

Tails of Iron is an excellent game which got two lots of free DLC with trophies. I got the Platinum 100% on the PS5, and going to play it again for the Platinum 100% on PS4 at some point. Likely before the end of year now. Definitely will be picking up Tails of Iron 2.

I am looking forwards to see what Sony's studio's have been working on . Hopefully they'll announce the PS5 PRO too.

Definitely checking out the reviews at launch. I loved the PS3 MotorStorm's top down racer. Sony need's to remake the original MotorStorm game's and remaster the top down spin off too.

I love Prince of Persia. I wish they would remaster or remake the rebooted 2008 Prince of Persia and the originals. I have got The Lost Crown but haven't started it yet. Also love Roguelite's so definitely keeping an eye out for this game.

The problem with this statement is it's only half a truth some of these devs are just as bad as they claim these publishers are, yes there are good examples. And it's scapegoating because reality is far more complex a lot less black and white reality actually contains nuance, and believe it or not they are individuals who have family to feed too it's not always just about you as you virtue signal because that's what this is. But here we are talking about an incredible privileged industry to work in, they are literally the bourgeoisie.

You mean this make's no sense. You cannot make a game for "everyone", it's literally impossible. Dark Souls, COD, COD Zombies is a good example of that. COD Zombies tried making a zombie game for "everyone", the game mode is no where near as good as it use to be. The only Zombies maps I'll play are the originals & chronicles maps.

It's a true quote. Some developers & publisher's would be wise to take this advice.

This is why I never pre-order game's in some rare cases I will pre-order, but it's very rare. Because you are paying more for a game that's in a worse state, if you wait a few months the game's are almost half price and actually playable in it's best version because of all the patches.

I just bought the Prince of Persia The Lost Crown on sale with Sword of Vagrant. If you like game's like Atlus Dragon's Crown, Sword of Vagrant is on sale for £2 odd. I cannot believe i haven't seen this game before. Definitely be getting the DLC and trying out the free updates, this will probably be added by the time I get around playing the game. I have a huge backlog that just keep growing, it's a good problem to have.

I think there is a bit delusional to think people who don't play games and have zero interest in them will suddenly start playing games if you make different types of games. I am not saying you can't have sort term success like Wii, but they are a flash in a pan more to do with the hardware itself.

Making you jump through hoops to play a game. I downloaded one of Capcom's new games at the time on GamePass, the game where you shoot dinosaurs I am sure it's called Exoprimal. The game requires you to make an Capcom account to play it, I deleted the game. It's not the point I already have a Microsoft account, no game should require you to make an account to play a game.

I played it on my XSX it a really good game. Definitely picking up on my PS5, I got Metal Hellsinger on sale the other day on PS. If you played and liked Metal Hellsinger you'll love HI FI Rush.

Definitely getting Stellar Blade. I would love Capcom to remake Devil May Cry & Devil May Cry 3 & 4 for the PS5.

I have excellent news for Xbox fans regarding Helldivers 2. Xbox fans can play Helldivers 2 today, yes that's right you didn't hear me wrong. Go online or down to your local game store and pickup Helldivers 2 with a PS5. Sony isn't stopping you from playing Playstation games, only you are.

I'm not exactly sure who it helps in the industry by not being on Playstation, Indiana Jones, Starfield, Ori etc.

For me there is a massive difference between owning and renting your game's, I don't find any value in renting game's other than treating the game's as demo's. Game's are not two hour long films, I like to take my time and don't use guide's when playing my game's and a lot of game's I play I put 100+ hours into them or 50-80+ hours in others obviously depending on the game. Doing everything the game has to offer, and I go back to replay games again. And then you have the sale's, you can buy Crysis trilogy 1-3 under a £10, Lego Marvel Trilogy with all DLC £7.99 if that's not vavlue for money I don't know what is, not only that games prices fall super quick. Now if you could only rent games you would see non of that and the monthly prices would be a lot more than what they are now to rent games. I like the way gaming is now, and I hope it stays this way.

How would Helldivers 2 benefit from being on Xbox? The PlayStation 5 platform only is double Xbox & that's not including PlayStation 4 & PC. If Sony where to go multiplatform you choose Nintendo Switch. Also if exclusives didn't matter Activision & Bethesda would still be multiplatform.

The only one that's worth buying if these are the game's Hi-Fi Rush, Pentiment, Grounded, and Sea of Thieves, is definitely Hi-Fi Rush. I am sure these games did well on GP but didn't meet sale expectations on Xbox I'll we definitely buy Hi-Fi Rush pass on the other. PS player's want to look at Hi-Fi Rush the guys who made The Evil Within Tango Gameworks made it.

I think Microsoft will release game's from Activision & Bethesda, game's that Playstation would have gotten anyway if not for being brought by Microsoft. I am very sceptical Microsoft/Xbox will be releasing any of there own first party game's on Playstation. I guess we'll see later.

You don't have to play Helldivers with friends, it plays just as good solo or with randoms.

I am definitely picking up Granblue Fantasy Relink's in a month or two. Glad the game is selling well.

I not sure why people would think Helldivers 2 would flop as Helldivers has it's fan base. Even now you can easily find a game online if you want , or players joining you. For me the reason for good sales is a mixture of price, already having a fan base and word of mouth, unlike GOW this is the 2nd game so people know what they are buying into.

I have all the DLC for Dead Cells and it also released on the PS5. So at some point soon I'll be 100% Dead Cells on both PS4 & PS5.

I brought it yesterday on pre-order with another pre-order & a game on sale. I never pre-order game's usually but both Helldivers 2 & TombRaider I-III Remastered are an exception for me. I am just finishing off platiunm a game then jumping into Helldivers 2, also definitely picking up Castlevania Advanced Collection I really liked Castlevania Requiem Symphony of The Night & Rondo of Blood I platiunmed it the other day.

I not sure how to feel about it. I own an Xbox Series X but more I am definitely more of a Playstation guy I have always have been, it's where the majority of my games are. But I also own a Nintendo Switch, I love games. I think Xbox shouldn't make any Activision or Bethesda game exclusive they should all come to Playstation because these have always been 3rd party, the extra income would help Xbox. But I am totally fine with Xbox making great exclusives and keeping them fist party exclusive on Xbox, make the game's and I mean good games people will come obviously not over night it'll take time. Xbox One really damaged Xbox as a brand, and some of the decision they are still making like the game is not on the disc DRM.

I just pre-ordered Helldivers 2 & TombRaider Remastered, also brought The Last Faith on sale. I really liked the first Helldivers Helldivers 2 looks even better.

People forget Xbox is a brand inside of Microsoft & it's apparently Microsoft that's wanting more of an investment especially after buying both Activision & Bethesda. While apparently the Xbox CEO's like Phil Spencer want Xbox exclusives. This tells me some where down the line the numbers aren't adding up for Microsoft inside of Xbox. Just keep Activision & Bethesda multiplatform like they always been this helps Microsoft as a business, while also having Xbox exclusives from Xbox first parties.

I already own the complete edition of Steelriding but haven't played it yet due to working on my backlog. I was going to buy Rollerdrome PS5 version on sale, if you get both versions PS5 & PS4 that will be even better. I might try Foamstars depending on the platiunm.

A bargain bin game for me.

Almost finished the platinum on Bloodstained Ritual Of The Night then probably doing Castlevania Requiem Symphony Of The Night & Rondo Of Blood next.i am Jumping back and forth between my PS4 Pro & PS5 to work on my backlog I have loads of PS4 era games & new games to get through, and the amount of new games i need to get through. Spend a few months on PS4 Pro & a few months on PS5 etc. I want to go back to play Arkham Asylum, City & Arkham Knight & Bioshock, Bioshock 2 & infinite on my XSX for the Achievements, so of the best games ever made. Also Castlevania Lord's Of Shadows definitely 100% Achievement that to at some point. I wish they would remaster or remake Castlevania Lord's Of Shadows.

What's in the Battle pass how much will it be? How much will the skin's be? I've noticed they've not talked about this yet, not that I've seen anyway. I not really sure about this game, I'll have to see some reviews.

The PlayStation 5 has been out over 3 years now and every upgrade path has released on launch day. How did it not twig for people when Pre-ordering The Last of Us Part 2 you was buying the game for full price £44.99, it's pretty clear. Obviously these people didn't know about the upgrade path and was willing to buy the game again. This is good customer support to upgrade the digital PS4 game to the PS5 version & refund the rest of the money, because these people wouldn't have been any wiser.

I brought the £10 upgrade earlier today but I'll be playing The Last of Us Part 2 PS5 at a later date, as i am playing & platinuming another game at the moment with another game i want to platiunm next. Then I am going for the big one after practicing the game and replying certain missions, Wolfenstein 2 Mein Leben a 10/10 difficulty trophy that makes or brakes the platiunm trophy.

I loved the 1st Dragon's Dogma had it on the PS3 & PS4. Really looking forwards to Dragons Dogma 2. They should collect players data on how they play the game etc, like Microsoft has done with Forza Horizon and implant into the game. It works amazingly on Forza Horizon I don't know why this couldn't be done with other games. AI it definitely the next big upgrade to game's.

Sony should remake the original three Killzone games, Resistance 1,2 and 3 & the original Motorstorm, Motorstorm Pacific Rift and MotorStorm: Apocalypse.Get Bluepoint Games to remake them but with an update control scheme.

@GigaGaia You can play solo, but while in the game you can send out an SOS for other players to dropship in if you want too.

The first game is brilliant this looks even better. I'll be buying Helldivers 2 day one.

It's crazy when you think that within six years Rocksteady released Arkham Asylum, Arkham City & Arkham Knight. Towards nine years and just now releasing Suicide Squad Kill The Justice League. I cannot get over in 2024 you have a game with big purple weak spots, game design from 2010. I'll wait for reviews but sadly I think it'll review around 6-7/10.

People still play the original Helldivers I do as well. So looking forward to Helldivers 2.

Definitely picking up the DLC. This is really sad news, I own Shadow Tactics: Blades of the Shogun, Desperados III & Shadow Gambit. Really good games.

That's because it was meant to be DLC and it is DLC, MW2 was meant to have a two year cycle. When have you seen everything from one COD game carry over to the next COD game? Never. All Operators, Operator skin's, weapons, camos, blueprints, attachments etc everything from MW2 is carrying over into MW3. SO everything you've unlocked in MW2 will be unlocked for you in MW3, camos, operators, weapons, attachments etc.

So the theory MW3 is DLC to MW2 looks true then, this more or less confirms that. £69.99 DLC pack 🤫

I'll be platinuming all the MGS Collection games on PS5 then on the PS4, I get to play them a few times love MGS.
