Square Enix & Capcom would be well suited for Sony, make it happen.

I thought this would be quite obvious considering Sony has made a 10 year deal with Microsoft. Also Microsoft are no longer thinking of themselves as a "console" brand they are a subscription service, to be on as many devices as possible that's the end goal.

I am definitely getting Spider-Man 2 around Xmas. Mario Wonder & Forza Motorsport I need to pick up too. Spider-Man is a brilliant game. I almost forgot Lords of The Fallen, Jesus there are so many good games out & coming out.

I was going to get Saint's Row on a sale obviously with the DLC on sale too, £25 max for game & DLC. But all I have to buy inow is the DLC, not too sure about the other two games but apparently Generation Zero is worth playing now in 2023 so I'll just add them to my library.

I don't care what anyone says Bethesda need to drop their in house engine. It's why Starfield is littered with loading screens and invisible wall's. I am still looking forwards to play it on GamePass but will be definitely buying too probably on it's first sale.

Backwards compatibility isn't vible Microsoft has proven this by no longer supporting BC. Also BC game's slowly vanishing over the long term. Hell not even Microsoft is willing to renew license on their own first part game to keep Forza Horizon 3 on the digital store for sale. Companies likes Rockstar will not renew licenses for their old game's, when they can port/remaster and pull the original versions.

You cannot buy the BC Xbox version anymore, I brought Xbox360 HD collection just before it was taken off the store. So if you want to buy it digitally this new version will be the only version to buy.

The term "Live service" game is if you actually think about it is snake oil. The concept on paper sounds amazing but in reality an impossible task, hence being snake oil. A lot of these live service game's solo purpose is maximum profit over content the secondary purpose. Paid DLC will always have a ton of more care and work put into the content over a live service game, where the only extra money comes from is microtransactions which becomes the main focus. It's a bad business model.

I don't really see this as news. Hiring and laying off people in the gaming industry is the norm.

Microsoft just like Sony have always have had exclusives, wether Microsoft has published 1st/2nd party exclusives or brought 3rd party exclusives they've always had exclusives. Sony does release game's on other platforms like Xbox for example.

Buying exclusive content (a game or DLC) is an standard all console manufacture's have done this for generations. But what is out of the norm is buying a publisher to actively hurt your competition, this information could hurt Microsoft deal and rightfully so.

Like only two others have said it was COVID (Lockdowns) that killed E3, this was the time E3 should have went digital but they didn't and let others fill that void.

Will be playing Street Fighter 6 over the weekend, I love Street Fighter. I used to play against my friends winner stays on passing the joypad around, brilliant time's before online domainated and couch co-op ruled.

Both Diablo 4 & Street Fighter 6 reviewing very well 😍, I didn't play the Beta's for either game on purpose because I like to play the game fresh and finding out about the game myself. It was a bit of a nightmare keeping away from The Legend of Zelda Tears of the Kingdom info, it was everywhere. Definitely buying both game's been looking forwards to these game's & obviously FF16.

Unlike GTAV you didn't have to buy the game again, it was a free next-gen upgrade.

Bungie have only made Destiny in the last decade and in that time Destiny 2 & it's Destiny 2 DLC flopped hard, the original Destiny was never a live service game that came latter with Destiny 2 after people had already paid full price for Destiny 2. If Bungie have had success with multiple live service game's I would understand taking advance off one studio but they haven't.

I thought it was alright considering the time of year, I am a bit puzzled why people believe Sony would blow there load in one night showing. Sony has never ever done that, they always the majority of the time have something to announce over multiple events.

It copies certain parts of the data to the consoles HDD/SSD, then reads small certain parts of the data off the disc too.

It makes owning the physical copy pointless, but I suppose that's the point to nudge gamers to the more expensive digital copy. I cannot think of any other reason why it wouldn't be on two discs.

Not sure what this is about but I think I have an idea going off these comments. It was only the other week people where mad that a cartoon that's being made into a film is casting a woman with lighter skin colour than the cartoon character. Identify politics bleeds into everything.

Thank god it's a PS5 exclusive where the loading times are minimal, these sorts of games with long loading times on the PS4 are a pain in the butt. I am playing some of my backlog Remnant From The Ashes which is the same sort of structure main hub and smaller hub world's all broken up by loading times. Good game but loading time, the only good thing about it is if you die you'll loaded back in fast.

People getting triggered over his comment lol 😂. But he is 100% right "FF16 only possible on the PlayStation 5" because he is obviously saying being on a PLAYSTATION Website, working on a PLAYSTATION timed exclusive game the game wouldn't be possible on the PS4.

It's not Sony's fualt Microsoft turned down Street Fighter 5 hence Sony funded Street Fighter 5, and as for FF when has Microsoft give a crap about FF that has a long history with PlayStation. Your saying Microsoft without buying publishers cannot make their own first party game's, I actually agree with that statement the last generation proves that.

Sony lawyers will make sort work of this, it shows how out of touch they are.

He is right GamePass price will 100% go up in the new few years. It's not just about the $69 billion, development studios cost money to run Microsoft just got a lot more of them and I would imagine they'll do what they've did the other month let go a certain amount of Dev's from certain studios.

The devil is in the detail this statement is a false equivalence. Funding or buying exclusivity on a game from an independent dev or another publishers is very different to buying out a publisher.

You can now see why Microsoft couldn't make backwards compatibility work, sort term it worked fine but not so much for the long term. I was so lucky buying Forza Horizon 3 when I did I went to buy the DLC a few months after buying the game, no longer available nor was the full game and that was one of Microsoft own first party game's. Same as Metal Gear Soild HD Collection I bought it a few months later you could no longer buy it, I brought most of the BC game's I wanted just incase they vanish at some point.

Ashame but that's life and death is apart of life, and it's going to happen to everyone at some point so make the most out of your life and make peace with death. Time is a matter of perspective and that perspective will change the older you get.

While I like the Last Of Us 2 I do agree TLOU has the best story wise, it's a far more less predictable story obviously unless you've played it. While the Last Of Us 2 story is given away within the first 30 minutes.
I hope ND are working on a new IP & do what Guerrilla Games did, a new IP totally different to TLOU or Uncharted.
