Re: Mini Review: Railway Empire 2 (PS5) - Locomotive Strategy Sim Has Signal Failure

The game has a bit of a learning curve but for what cities need which good you just need to use the flow of goods thing in the action menu which will show which good a city is in need of. Minus some clunkiness when making the trains and some issues with track usage at the station I think the game is better than Railway Empire 1 and tons of fun for a strategy game. 8/10 for me.

@Art_Vandelay yes this game does have a slight wobble effect but not as bad as the original psvr. That being said I’ve also noticed the wobble in games where you can remain mostly stationary, such as Star Wars and the kayak game. Hasn’t made me sick but did make me feel a bit uneasy. Overall though the puzzle game has been one of my favorites and is a great chill vr experience.

Re: Cities: Skylines Airports DLC Pack Touches Down on PS4 in January

@FatallyYours117 I had to install it on the PS5 drive to get rock solid framerate even when the city it huge.

As for the DLC…it’ll be interesting to see how this works on a console since you’re limited to 9 city tiles and don’t get airports until half or more of the tiles are all used up, leaving you with limited area for building.

Re: Sony Set to Combine PS Plus and PS Now to Create Xbox Game Pass Competitor on PS5, PS4

When a whole year of game pass costs less than three Sony PS5 games and let’s you play all the new Xbox games and 100+ other games including Sonys own MLB game the day it comes out something has to be done as being a PS5 gamer is drastically more expensive than being a gamepass gamer. I get that gamepass is a rental service but most games you play it once and you’re done so I’m all for it.

Re: Soapbox: What Makes Returnal So Special

After beating the game and seeing the second ending I don’t feel like it’s a game worth $70 when compared to titles like Ratchet and Clank or Demons Souls. I thought the cutscenes were confusing and the endings were just meh for me. Gameplay was tons of fun until you hit an insane difficulty spike and died (for good) and lost hours of progress. Plus some play through as you get crappy weapons or upgrades that hold you back. It’s an 8 hour game that takes 2-3 times that to beat because of the start all over mechanic. A great $30-$40 game, but it’s not at the level that earns full price money in my opinion.
