I don’t see how anyone enjoys “grinding” for slightly better guns for hours on end to then have to buy dlc for the privilege to grind for slightly better guns. The original game was about having fun while the following games became exercises in milking the customer and not making the user overpowered. Almost all games are like this now where you are just powerful enough to get by so you’ve “got to” keep playing to get that next great item that’ll make the next 10-20 hours barely more enjoyable.

I just wish they’d re-release the first pixel junk monsters so I don’t need a ps premium subscription to play it.

Oh yeah it was great. Nothing from Naughty Dog, insomniac, guerrila games, bluepoint, Sony Santa Monica, or Bungie. Xbox is generating more hype on PlayStation than first party PlayStation studios 🤣

I played through the D4 campaign and was happy when it was over. Now I'm playing POE2 and enjoying it much more, so much more in fact that I've already put twice as much time into that game than D4 and POE2 isn't even fully released lol.

I can't wait to get my hands on this Push Square Certified 8/10 DragonAge game that is so awesome it totally sunk the developer in like 4 months. What a Barv!

They re-recorded motion capture scenes, enhanced the audio, added better dualsense support, and obviously made the graphics a whole lot better, just for a $10 upgrade, and PushSquare thinks this experience is somehow worse than the original when looking at the two scores? This isn't a Silent Hill 2 situation where EVERYTHING needs to be redone, but reading this review I don't see how this game is worse than the first in any way lol. The score just doesn't make sense to me. And yes this will be something I buy as I plan to make this and its sequel the first two games I play on my PS5 Pro.

Surprised it’s just 8/10? You gave the original a 9/10 and this is basically that but better in every way so?

Borderlands 1 was amazing, 2 was good but felt too grindy, 3 I played a couple hours then regretted my purchase.

I'm actually quite disappointed they did not announce the PS5 Pro, which likely means it will not be out until next year as some have speculated.

The game looks and feels great at 60fps but I can’t get it to stop crashing randomly after about 15 minutes of play.

Wait a few months to get it on Black Friday for $20. This game looks like it’ll be another AAAA flop anyway.

I had a ps4 pro and enjoyed it so I think to have that extra power (and hopefully storage) will justify the purchase. I also want a PS5 for my kid so my launch one will be great for her.

The reason they can offer such a deal is the many who won’t pay off their balance and will be hit with huge interest payments. Debt is dumb.

At the moment of this writing, Helldivers 2 has over ten times more concurrent players than Destiny 2. I think that about sums up how gamers feel about Destiny 2.

The issue is TLOU2 is a franchise killer that falsely advertised the game by implying Joel would be on a trip with you (Ellie) through out the game but that turned out to be a lie as they kill off Joel very early on in one of the dumbest ways possible when he foolishly shares his real identity with a stranger that is very good at swinging a golf club. The game is visually stunning but the story is crap compared to the first game and they killed off the one character people loved so they could simply force you to play as two female characters, one of which nobody likes, and by the end of the game Ellie did all that stuff to avenge Joel and then she’s too weak to off his killer, making all the people she killed and the friends she lost pointless. Angry Joes review is perfect and highlights just how bad this game is and I’d much rather spend my $10 towards something that is worth playing.

Funny, I thought “No Return Mode” was the mode I was always playing in because I’m definitely not returning to play this game 🤮

I mean there wasn’t really a big Sony exclusive other than this to release so I’m not surprised. The game looks and feels great but the story is almost laughably bad with how things escalate and it is also the wokest Sony game to date. Happily traded it in after beating the campaign and look forward to not playing it again. The real GOTY is Lego Fortnite anyway.

I guess their outspoken and monetary support for far left organizations isn’t translating into more sales for them what a shame.

An industry that promotes violence and killing in nearly every non-sports game and y’all act surprised something like this happens? The most popular games involve shooting/killing/brutality of other people in droves and for GTA in particular it purposely devalues human life and promotes violent behavior for entertainment. I mean has pushsquare said anything negative about the unreal gore in the upcoming Mortal Combat game? I bet y’all love it, but hey if a game is in the Harry Potter universe let’s get out the pitchforks and start canceling people lol. All it takes is one crazy person.

Before casting stones perhaps you should look at what messaging the industry is sending to its consumers and ask yourself if the next big game should be applauded or ashamed for how it treats the sanctity of human life. This is a symptom, not the disease itself…which is society’s continual decline in respect, love, and value for human life, and the entertainment industry, including the journalists who give high ratings for this stuff, is at the forefront of its decline for it’s “the story tellers who set the vision, agenda, and values of an entire generation that is to come” (Steve Jobs).

A 30-35% jump and they give us like a weeks notice? I highly doubt we will get 30% better service or 30% more features lol. It’s odd Sony is trying to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory. Psvr 2 is lacking games, PlayStation portal doesn’t make sense, Microsoft is buying up top tier gaming studios, and now the cheapest gamepass plan is cheaper than the cheapest ps plus plan as of Sept 14. Frustrating.
