It has come to my attention that the developers hate Ravenclaw. Why else would they force users to go to the owlery, instead of say a trip to Azkaban like Hufflepuffs. I would love to see a dlc, or a sequel take us to Nattys school where she learned wand-less magic.

For everyone that thinks this is expensive, look at spec comparisons of the the current available VR headsets vs PSVR2. Quest 2 is 499, which meta just incresed from 399 a mo th or two ago. Valve's Index is 1k. For all that is has, this was way below what I believed it to be. I thought this was going to be 6-800. If you compare other headsets and the prices. This will be a pre-order for me if they include PCVR support.

I was looking at price, and capability, it's a waste of money.

The cheapest Steam Deck is overpriced. The XSS will be a better buy than this. I honestly do not understand the hype behind this. GeForce Now and Stadia are a better option than this. This is a quick cash grab to take advantage of the current gpu issue. For nearly the same price as the most expensive option, or less, you can make your own gaming PC. Of course, you'll be using an APU until a gpu is available.

I don't see why anyone should care. Sony and their partners have made some of the best games on console for awhile. Game Pass is Microsoft's answer to that, with a hint of buying as many studios as they can. With or without a subscription service like games pass, Playstation has been killing it. Now that their forced to hand over a game, which I'm BETTING MONEY WAS INVOLVED, everyone and anyone seems to throw a fit. Keyboard warriors will say whatever they want....... Just to name a few exclusives (present and past) HZD 1&2, TLOU 1&2, SpiderMan 1&1.5, Uncharted 1-4.5, GOW 1&2 etc.

I'm having trouble believing this is all do to "semiconductor shortages". If that's the case why are they able to sell stock currently. Every week it seems like there's multiple stores that sell all new consoles in limited quantities, nearly every single day. Same with GPUs. This is them controlling the market. What they could do, is hold onto the stock and release them into the stores, everything else is selling in the stores. By keeping it online only and slowly releasing stock shows they don't care. Also by them praising its being such a successful launch states the exact same. It's been an absolute disaster everywhere. It not only hurts us, those that want to buy one for ourselves/family, but also hurts the developers as well.

Your stating this has been in development for a year? The detail level looked bad, as well as the lighting. Too many details missing, the face looked completely bland compared to the PS4 version. There are objects missing in the background, cars, trees, and some inside the lab. The lighting looked washed out, the colors were off. Take a look at the side by side comparison video, it's easy to notice. Not saying I won't buy the game, but I hope they get it fixed before they ship it. Other than that, it looked good in 60fps.

This shows that it really is a work in progress. The details are gone, the hdr looks a bit washed out. The faces look bad on the PS5.

@Bentleyma- Your not the only one. It was refreshing for it to be open world. It was extremely repetitive in the previous games.

@clvr Especially considering some of those indie developers are being shutdown after the acquisition. EA, Activision, and Microsoft have done so recently.

There's no way I'll ever get a digital only console. If I don't like a game I'd like to get a refund.

Either way no one should buy the digital version until Sony changes the policy to allow refunds. At least even if you download the game.

The SSD alone is what's pushing the price up. There was an article on this site stating they had SSD supply/pricing issues. 599, I can see it being 699. The all digital version could be cheaper than 499, since all digital games will be sold through the PS store.

$599 for the standard. 300-400 for the digital only. If it's less, awesome. The price for the SSD alone is close to 2-300, of course they may have their own price they pay.

The ten hour demo for Need For Speed: Heat is a joke. Your only allowed to build your rep level to ten and that's it. You can easily do that within a few hours, which means you can only play a few missions of the story.

Just a time killer. Some were great reveals. It seemed like the same games were up for awards, like that's only thing they played. I mean, not even including No Mans Sky for one of the awards was just maddening. NMS has been out since 2016, and Hello Games is still adding free game-changing updates.

@Wesker currently playing Payback. It's pretty decent, I dont understand the hate for the speed cards. You get one after every race, can trade in for them, etc. With individual parts wouldn't that be more expensive? This doesn't look as good Payback so far.

The PS5 could cost closely to that. AMD currently does not have any Ray Tracing cards out. Their map to ray tracing is vague at best. Seems AMD is betting on streamed gaming, and shaders to help with that. I highly doubt they'll use NVidia for the GPU.

From the original announcement they've said it will be episodic. They also said, each episode will be the length of a full sized AAA game. So no, this will not be TellTale sized.

Real player motion is a buzzword. Maybe on PC. But on the Ps4, after the first few updates the new range of motion was patched out. Not including all the glitches still in the game.
