We think we can all agree that Marvel's Spider-Man: Remastered looks outstanding in the PlayStation 5 footage released earlier today, but without an immediate reference point, the visuals improvements may not be quite as obvious as they actually are. Enter YouTuber ElAnalistaDeBits, who previously compared the PlayStation 3 version of Demon's Souls with the upcoming remake and now has done the very same thing with Insomniac Games' take on the web-slinger. Of course, the difference isn't quite as impressive as that particular comparison, but Marvel's Spider-Man: Remastered still has a few tricks up its sleeve that put a PS4 game to shame.
What immediately jumps out to us is the lighting. The PS5 remaster appears so, so much brighter than its current-gen counterpart — that could be HDR really putting in the work. Elsewhere, the draw distance appears to have improved as buildings feature even more tiny details to make them feel life-like. We also can't forget about the bump up to 60 frames-per-second which will make combat and traversal feel even smoother.
