Thoroughly deserved, this game's surprisingly well made for it to be this fun.

Hope it has fewer re-used bosses, and maybe is a tad bit more linear.
Didn't mind it all that much in the main game but would want something a bit more focused.

Granted I don't dig the genre but I see gamers badmouth fighter games as much as any others, for its lack of basic features or even for paying for those (Can't find it but sth about paying for rollback netcode were headlines a few years back).
In what are supposed to be staple franchises.
From the sfv in game ads during gameplay to tekken 7 being stuck at 720p (on xbox) it certainly doesn't seem like it to me.
But then again I don't play any so please enlighten me.

Hope the faces look better and wanna see some more gameplay ofc but very promising indeed.

@Sakisa rip Japan Studio. I distinctly liked doing the stealth 'stalk x person' type missions in Gravity Rush 2 because you could just walk on the side of buildings above the person, normally hated those types of missions in games but it was made very fun in GR.

@get2sammyb no that's why I mentioned the merging of their dev teams. The new Tony Hawk and Crash games were well received but still absorbed into the cod teams. They were slowly becoming or for some even staying dormant anyway because abk seemingly mostly cares for cod. Don't see why it would've been any different under Sony.

@Saitama117 game's pretty great though, a really good re-telling of the story, for the first few arcs at least.

I had heared this resident evil game in particular released multiple times but I haven't seen that many people talk about it, probably because of the high scores.
Anyway I hope that means you're better off with this one if you decide on buying it mate.

Just hurts reading through this, loved the hell out of Shadow of the Colossus and the Last Guardian, they're probably my favorite two ps exclusives.
But that ico+sotc bundle is way overpriced (30~ sth) here so I could never play it 😭

@Deadhunter I had that issue early on, pretty sure I did everything up till that point but I was still very underlevelled and boss fights took ages. Though I guess that's a common experience for me in turn based games 🥲

@SilverShamrock I've always thought it's mostly the older crowd who don't like the current wave of remakes.
It only makes sense for them to want new experiences, new IPs instead of rehashed stuff.
Also it makes sense for it to take away from developing new games, take bluepoint for example.
Always had to remaster/remake/reboot and now, allegedly, finally gets to work on their very own IP.
I for one appreciate these remakes for the most part, thought tlou was unnecessary because it looked and played well but the original re games with their tank controls look utterly appaling, so it's nice for them to have touched on that and more.

@uptownsoul while I get the sentiment I'm 100% sure CrossfireX would not have survived. If anything ps users might not like the look of Remedy Games anymore as a dev because of how absolutely abhorrent the 'game' was.
Imagine finally getting to enjoy Remedy Games on ps through the likes of Control and Alan Wake only to go down to the absolute cesspits of CrossfireX.

@Northern_munkey enjoy it!!! More people needa play Rage 2 imo, I played it quite a while after the reviews hit and I couldn't quite agree with them.

@Impossibilium spot on, I doubt they can do much more with flashbacks in s2 to make up for s1 though given that there's already a few from the 2nd game they'll have to adapt.

The thought came up to me as well that it should've maybe had two more episodes, somewhere in the middle and towards the end. But overall a great adaptation, looking forward to the 2nd and third series.

@KaijuKaiser yeah actually I think you're right. I remembered the Shadow Warriors 3 and Destruction Allstars launch and thought more might've joined but it's all just been high production indies, and I suppose it might be debatable whether those two are AAA.
Completely forgot I wanted to try that destruction allstars but it's probably dead by now 🤔

It's good, not great. On the technical side it could run better, it doesn't look that great. Looks like a bad last gen game.
On all aspects it's really just a ***** Nioh.
I'm in part 4 currently and it's way easier than the Nioh games. Wish the magic stuff was fleshed out more.
Debating whether I want to complete it or not.
