@Northern_munkey one of the worst games I have ever played.
Felt very unfinished, kind of inbetween indie and AA as well.
But it does have a good lovecraftian story to it.
Sinking City felt like a waste of time to me, mainly because a friend gifted it to me else it would've been a waste of money as well.
Its performance is nothing but suboptimal as well, granted I did play this way back when on ps4, it might've gotten patched since.
I prefer the Call of Cthulhu game if you want some HP Lovecraft goodness.

They deserve it for Strange Brigade alone, what a gem of a game 😮‍💨

I'm currently playing through remnant 2 as well! About 17 hours in, did two heavy sessions over the last two days.
I do often hear people saying that the remnant games aren't soulslike and I can kind of see the argument. I'm personally more in disagreement with the people who say the respawn jedi games are soulslikes.
At least the first game is fairly easy (haven't played the second yet) and beyond the metroidvania level design to it it doesn't share anything else with the fromsoft titles. It's just a linear action adventure that even has fleshed out cutscenes (beyond the usual fromsoft boss fight cutscenes).
I get that the remnant games are very rng heavy, based on replayability and has a more accessible story to it but at the same time its focus on various builds reminds me a lot of the fromsoft games, that and navigating through the world finding items that are loosely related to a random npc and its crystals that serve as bonfires.
In my opinion they have a very fromsoft feel to them when I play them.
But again I can see why someone would say they aren't soulslikes.

I'd daresay even better than the majority of fromsoftware's outings. And it still has room to grow with its dlc on the way.

@Grimwood exact same thing? Anything but the destruction physics sure but that's what sets it apart in the end.
Besides its patches are great. It's already gotten its second event and the game's only been out for two weeks 😮‍💨

@themightyant bit of an odd comparison to make because annapurna does films as well, and A24 seems to be going into more 'higher' budget films, or at least looking that way lately.

Game's amazing though, one of the best dopamine filled experiences I've had in a while.

@Boucho11 word, I already liked the previews to begin with but the alpha was so goddamn fun to play. Did it throughout with a friend and gave some code to others and everyone enjoyed it.

@SlySnake0407 I agree wholeheartedly. And as for the first part of your comment that is actually more prevalent on pc where Steam allows you full access to your game library offline (don't know if that holds for always online games)
And GOG allows for making (offline) copies of your games without getting in trouble for it.
I know consoles grant limited access with the exception of some sub services needing confirmation and a connection to the internet every x day(s) but maybe that will all change in time when physical sales on console reach the same point as on the pc market. Hopefully sooner.

@Beerheadgamer82 It was a good sending off for the character and a good conclusion to the trilogy don't get me wrong.
It's just very meek for a Fuqua flick, denzel wasn't given enough opportunities to be as suave as he always is.
Pales in comparison to the first movie, doesn't help that the villain's wack.
Don't let me stop you man, Denzel's as smooth as ever, he even speaks Italian in this one 😮‍💨

Total miscast. I hope this doesn't put off too many people from playing it.
I vividly remember trying to watch the funimation english dub for one piece which was so horrifically bad it had me rethinking my life choices. Luckily I ended up watching it with subs, which I hope many will mimick in these games.

@Blofse they did previously say there were at least two expansions planned but after the game turned out to be the mess it was they limited it to just one and blamed it on the fact that they're moving to developing on unreal engine 5.

I can find FFXVI for €28 and Diablo for €39.
Before you go off about the difference in currency it is cheaper than the digital sale price here.
So with the exception of fifa, and honestly you'd have to be a knob to buy that anyway (shoutout the dude in the comments here who said he bought it), you can save a pretty penny. Have to fight the urge to pick up ffxvi myself. Could trade it in and save some more money as well.

Ragnarok on about the same sale price as ffxvi, yes very nice.
