Re: Looks Like One of PS5's Best Games Is Getting a Complete Edition

Cherip-the-Ripper

@Northern_munkey I do believe you've made the right choice there. I didn't like the first one very much, ended up getting the plat after maybe 50 hours but was still very hesitant to play hfw.
Ended up not even being able to beat it after 20 or so hours.
The games are beautiful, play well and very original in some ways.
But at the same time they're just, lacking, somewhere?
Apparently a lot of people feel the same way, on here at least.
And yh her face does look odd, there was even an article on here talking about it. Turned into what you might think it would though lol

@Kidfunkadelic83
Ah yh I didn't play it until it got the next gen upgrade, worked wonderfully at the time. Barely any hiccups.
You should've gotten Control through ps plus as well so it's just one install away.
awww man I wish I could've played PT, I started gaming after the whole PT debacle so I had to learn what it was all about after the fact ๐Ÿ˜ญ
I'm sure you had a 'fun' time of it though haha

Re: Lies of P Goes Gold with September PS5, PS4 Launch Looming

Cherip-the-Ripper

@Olmaz that's fair.
I don't actually even like the genre to begin with but I somehow manage to quite enjoy the games in it.
What do you think were some of the standout soulslikes?
I hope The Lords of Fallen manages to wow as well, I've seen most of the promo stuff they've put out and it looks amazing. But the other lords of the fallen game supposedly was quite abysmal so I don't know what to expect lol

Re: PS Plus Essential Games for August 2023 Announced

Cherip-the-Ripper

@commentlife well the game's been out for over three years. (Feb 2020)
Sony saw it wasn't worth their efforts and figured they will stop support for the title back in April.
I think the the good folks in the comments are just wondering why Sony didn't feel the need to offer this first party game sooner to see if it might be worth to stick around instead.
There have been complaints surrounding the samey-ness of sony's first party offering, this game is pretty far apart from the standard. Hence, I believe, some people are 'upset'.
Not exactly rocket science mate

Re: Preview: Everything You Need to Know About EA Sports FC 24

Cherip-the-Ripper

@Ravix yeah sames.
I wasn't struggling with wins or playing in general last year so I never bothered looking some stuff up. Especially when I got introduced to the world of cancelling skill moves. Skill moves are already beyond me but there are people who do half a skill move, cancel it and go on to a different skill move right after. That's mad.
And the physics in 23 are proper ***** yeah. I didn't start playing again until it hit ea play but it's such a mess now.
