I sold mine just a fortnight ago. Didn't sell it because of lack of support, but because I couldn't get prescription specs that were suitable. Actually had the unit from day one and only used it three times for about 15 minutes each time, with different specs. It was just sat there boxed up doing nothing, so I got rid.

I'm in my late 50's and I've never played a single Final Fantasy game.

@8bit4Life I did exactly the same thing. I also got Game Pass Ultimate for free for 12 months with a broadband deal. Definitely agree with you about Starfield being not great but not terrible either. Saying that, I've sunk hundreds of hours into it.

I almost bought this yesterday in the sale. But the price put me off. With a PSN discount of 25% it still comes in at £67.49, I thought nah. After reading a few comments here that it doesn't run that well I'm glad I didn't buy.

I really want to play Starfield but I think I'll shell out for a new PC rather than buy an Xbox.

Struggling to find the sweetspot myself too. I was wearing my reading glasses and I'm guessing that this is the reason why. Can't use my normal glasses as they're varifocal. So I've just been to Specsavers to order a pair of single vision glasses. Hopefully that should do the trick for me. I'll have to wait until next weekend though to find out. Failing that, I'll have to return the headset

I will give Dirt 5 a go as I want to try out the 120Hz option on my newish TV.

This was my first PS5 game just two months ago. The visuals just blew me away. A stunning looking game.

Going to try this out just to test my newish tv's 120hz setting.

Only had mine for three weeks so I can't vote as I've only played one game.

I've had a 3 of those Samsung SSD's. And all 3 failed.

The "cost is irrelevant" because they've lined their coffers by ripping off their customers.

Feels like an exercise in hype by Sony.

Just had a look on the store (UK) and it's showing up under the PS Plus banner but also showing a price and add to cart (£49.99) but selecting that, it comes up with an error code and says it's not available to purchase.

@TheMysticOne Yep, I buy loads of games.

I've had Plus since it started and I think I've downloaded just two games from the choices given each month. I'll admit, I have a grumble to myself, but I don't make a song and dance about it. After all, if a game isn't to my liking, it isn't the fault of Sony. Maybe it is time that Sony split it - full price if you want the games, half price for the online play. That should keep the majority of people happy.

It's almost like Sony want people to go outside.

@LemonHaze But they're talking about cutscenes. Obviously there's a character/model less to render. And they won't have to render all the different mods/augmentations that players will have.

I wish they'd address the bloody awful texture pop in (or lack of texture at all) before adding more stuff.

There were a few iffy textures before the last update but after the latest one it's horrible. Most noticeable on the side of box trucks and other signage. The texture just doesn't come in at all.

With Sony having a PSN sale almost every day of the year, then digital sales will be higher.

I'd like to see new game digital against new game disk.

That 90gb figure is supposedley a mistake, from Engadget -

"One page on Ubisoft's website indicates that PS4 players will be burdened with a 90GB download, but that appears to be an error — 90GB to 100GB is just the amount of free space the game needs to install fulls on Sony's system."

I'm playing Uncharted The Last Legacy. I was browsing the sales and it showed up as free. I didn't realise that it was free (for me) because of the edition of Uncharted 4 that I'd bought. Oh, and Subnautica.

Sony: I wonder what else we can throw into the controller to drain even more out of the piss-poor battery life.

Maybe they aren't being silent.

I'll be getting it later on in November. I finish for Xmas on the 30th of November so I'll have plenty of time to play it.
