I was going to finish off Shadow of the Tomb Raider but I'll be pubbing it instead until they sort out the artefacts/collectibles and 100% completion bugs.

Not really surprising when a game is roughly 5 times more expensive to buy than a cinema ticket.

@MrFixIt54 Thanks for the reply. I actually tried this but nothing changed. The notifications eventually started to calm down, less and less, each time I turn the PS4 on. Now, there's virtually zero.

With so many sales, one after another, wouldn't it be easier to announce days that there isn't a sale on?

I've just done a database rebuild on my PS4 Pro and now I'm being bugged by the "discover" notification. I can't for the life of me remember how I stopped it before, and can't find owt on the internet.

I had this very same mission this afternoon. The guy asking me to find someone was the guy he wanted finding.

It's still randomly crashing on me. Fired it up for the first time in two years after this Next thing update, and the two patches that have come with it. Most of the times it's crashed is when entering a planet's atmosphere.

The most annoying thing about it is how it makes my PS4 Pro howl like a banshee. It's so loud that I put headphones on so that the volume of the game, trying to play above the roar of the fan, doesn't disturb my neighbour.

Saying that he can probably hear the bloody fan.

So, next gen then.

It's probably the same impatient gamers screaming, "where's my game", that rant and cry rivers, when a game is released unfinished/unpolished, just to meet deadlines.

I played Battlefield 4 to death. I did't like the setting in Battlefield 1 and only played a couple of multiplayer matches. Still not a fan of games set in WWII - it's been done too many times. I'll probably get this in the hope that the next iteration will be a modern setting again.

The last COD I played was the first Black Ops. Hated it with a passion.

Absolutely agree. This is the only thing holding me back from the platinum trophy - not being able to select a featured map.

When I pre-ordered Far Cry 5, Amazon had every version of the game but the bog standard, read cheapest, one. I thought that was a bit fishy.

Good game. But not being able to choose maps on multiplayer is a shame. I'm only after playing the featured maps to get the trophy.

Nice to be given the function of deleting notifications and hiding betas from the library. May even use the wallpaper thing at some point.

I'll mostly be playing on my phone while waiting for the ridiculously long load times on Sniper Ghost Warrior 3, after it's crashed, frozen or broken again, AGAIN.

I've played about 6 hours. I won't be playing it again. Very disappointed with it for a top tier game. The review score here, at 6/10, is in my mind, quite generous.

Looks like Far Cry Primal but with a girl and robo-dinosaurs. Think I'll hold off on this one for a few weeks after release, and see what the reviews say.

I think that there's a bit of Ubisoft jiggerypokery going on here with this video. There is an exact copy of this video but with Xbox button icons. Exactly the same. Exactly the same movement and actions for both "play throughs". And Ubisoft wonder why they get called out on this kind of thing.

Holding off for a few more patches.

After it crashing every 90 minutes or so, I've not had a single crash in two days.

But then again, I decided two days ago not to play it any more until it's had a few more fixes.
