Would rather see Prototype remake, but I enjoyed the vampire dlc for infamous 2. What’s really funny is how dead on the representation of Seattle they had, sign spinners included.
First was great with its NMS approach to base building and exploration. Below Zero, was also pretty great, not as big, but it did have a lot of surface mysteries. For Sony to skip this in early access is a most egregious mistake. As for releasing a buggy game, you don’t have to look far to find other prime examples of bugginess on the console. Possibly why GTA 6 hasn’t seen the light being infested with all sorts of insects.
Great series with hidden gems like a ms-dos rpg included. I guess they could do a third game, but the story mostly wrapped up in 2. The first game was great with philosophical stories and questions.
Great game with a lot of “wtf” moments, platforming, and syfy goodness.
Side activities and exploring are mindless.its Zelda climb anywhere rules, fall from any height and limited indoors. Combat is a frantic button masher and has no real depth. Driving is mediocre, it really is just an anime gta clone. 8 out of 10 is suspicious as the game kinda sucks. Generous pulls does not a great game make.
Game is 16 years old at this point. I’d rather replay Bioshock or New Vegas than this, which also came out 16 years ago. Sequel is miles better than the original. Cowboys and Indians seems like a bad idea these days.
Nay, I’ll wait until it approaches its Xbox price of $25 or less. By then the bugs should be ironed out. Then again can still get Fallout 4 to crash so 🤷🏻♂️
I wonder if Xbox is just following Sega’s playbook on how to win against Sony and Nintendo. It doesn’t look like things are panning out for the future of Xbox. Especially when the Pro is scooping up accolades left and right.
Well gonna have to stick to gacha games as this month has some boring AAAA games. As I enjoy Goat simulator, I may give squirrel a try, but that might anger my dogs.
I play HSR, this and whatever offline game I got (currently Atomfall). Love the construction aspect, can make everything except currency and playing the market. Fun game.
Space Opera the pnp game, is a myriad of dice rolls, charts and more dice rolls. And that’s just to attempt to warp. Good comparison. No exploration or fun things makes it a too-serious experience. Want to see a game that perfects the galaxy travel system? Mass Effect Andromeda did this perfectly with one menu. Other games as well.
So they concentrated their team on world building but forgot player testing, technical debugging and basic storytelling. Feel bad for people who preordered this. It’s like Mass Effect Andromeda or cyberpunk 1.00.
I’ll just wait for it to go to Plus, the horror/action title is not a true survival horror. More like RE6 with a spattering of 7. Either make a horror game or a shooting zombie game, not both.
With all these knockoffs I do wonder why nobody has tried an opposite Pokémon game. Where you’re an animal/alien and have to capture humans to fight your battles. Humans have jobs and each job brings something new to the mix.
That demo is a time sink. Stuck at lvl 10, trying to beat ferals is a luck/prepardeness factor. The PS page doesn’t list the extra stuff from getting a deluxe or ultimate, but apparently you can get it all in game.
Played ESO when it first came out, haven’t touched it since. Then we have golf and slime, pass. The Monster Hunter Rise doesn’t do much for stories. Killing your Monsti’s or caring for them. Confusing choice.
It’s interesting from a time/price situation where you can see when it came out, how much and what sales if any. Could be interesting to see how time affects prices based on how popular a game is.

Covid really set back everything 18 months.

Re: PS5's New Weekly Player Tracker Has Revealed Some Brutal Truths for Fans
With the sheer amount of high speed demolition stolen cars that teens be doing, can honestly believe that GTA5 is up there on that list.
Re: Poll: Are You Happy with Your PS Plus Extra, Premium Games for May 2026?
Digging all these indie games, so much to try and so much to see. After the rage inducing 9 sols, need something calmer.

Re: Red Dead Redemption PS5 Physical Edition Confirmed and Pre-Orders Live without a Word from Rockstar

Re: Poll: Are You Sold on Assassin's Creed: Black Flag's PS5 Remake?
It’s a nice game if you’ve never played it before, having beaten the original, there’s not much to explore for me, so it’s a pass.
Re: NTE Launch Guide: Release Times, Free Pulls, Codes, and More
Here’s to hoping they don’t have the dreaded 8 character, 2 full team fights like GI and HSR. So difficult to max out 4 characters let alone 8.
So PS5 gets the pre-load shaft, hope this doesn’t become a pattern going forward, or this experiment is gonna fail.

Re: Ahead of Arrival on PS Plus, Lords of the Fallen Gets a Major PS5 Update
Lord of Choices, do I like red light, yellow light or no light. Have fun getting lost in the swamp, meet the villagers, possibly scream a little?
Re: Echoes of Aincrad Is a Totally New Take on Sword Art Online, as Massive PS5 Gameplay Demo Shows
Overworld gives an Elden ring feel. The anime showed a lot of exploration and big boss fights. Looks fun.
Re: Feature: PS5 Price - Why Does It Cost So Much in 2026?
Getting close to forgetting current consoles and go back to analog (board games, puzzles and watching paint dry).

Re: Resident Evil Requiem PS5 Flying Off Shelves, Now at 6 Million Sales
@Oram77 it’s probably because I’m in my 50s and was never really into House of the Dead action games.

Play PS + and Gacha games so it doesn’t bother me. Maybe they judge this on trophy count. Could be a lot of things.

Re: These 10+ PS5, PS4 Games Are Coming Out Next Week (9th-15th March)
No love for Greedfall.
Re: Preview: Sword Art Online Returns to PS5 as a Darker Open World Action RPG This Summer
So it’s an anime version of Elden Ring. Sign me up.
Re: Believe It or Not, Atomic Heart Is Still Getting DLC
Beat it on Plus when it was offered. Tutorial level in new game + is plain evil.
Re: More God of War PS5 Details Leak, Out in 2027 with New Protagonist
Now, Kratos against the Chinese gods would be interesting.
Re: Resident Evil Requiem (PS5) - Two-in-One Horror Not Quite an All-Timer
Pass. Need more horror. Sounds more like RE6 than an actual title. Bad design choice.
