
The makers of NTE: Neverness to Everness have been busy these past few years, as this brand new PS5 gameplay trailer illustrates.
Paired with some pulpy pop music, here we get a glimpse of the full range of activities you can expect from the upcoming free-to-play open world game, which is due out on 29th April as a console exclusive.
That includes everything from wandering around a pristine replica of Japan’s most famous districts in the fictional city of Hethereau to racing sports cars and breaking out of prison.

This is a sandbox in the truest sense, where you’ll be able to take on part-time jobs like working in a fast food restaurant to fund your own apartment and buy better cars.
There’s no 50/50 to the gacha system, so if you fulfil the game’s pity system you’re guaranteed to unlock the promoted character every single time. We still need to wait and see if duplicates are required to make units useful, though.
We were utterly blown away by the production values and performance of this GTA-inspired adventure on a base PS5 in a recent pre-release preview, so we’re eagerly counting down the days until launch.
As we’ve repeated on a few occasions now, though, our biggest concern is time. With both Honkai: Star Rail and Zenless Zone Zero already locked in our rotation, and several others vying for a place, how the hell are we ever going to keep up?
And based on what we’ve seen so far, NTE: Neverness to Everness is as dense as these kinda games get. The timesink potential is intense.
