I was all in on the switch because it was a new concept.
Some great games but really as always with nintendo consoles for myself they are my secondary machines and honestly apart from the few and far between nintendo exclusive heavy hitters I just dont bother with it.
But switch 2 just hasn't launched with anything worth it for right now.
The biggest games for switch 2 are 2 switch ports.
Mario Kart is great but it isnt a system seller for me. The third party line up, are games I've already played on a better system for those games.
So really switch 2 just doesnt have the killer apps for me to jump.
Id rather stick with my ps5 pro and my outdated but still half decent gaming pc and ill wait for a switch 2 sale next year or the yesr after whenever thr big Mario, fella or metriod
It was an good for its time but really once I played the new 2d prince of persia the lost crown game. All I want is wd prince of persia games actually the same as the lost crown. Perfect for what prince of persia was in the beginning
@StitchJones I don't think it will though. SteamDeck released pretty cheap, for its time and is still going strong now.
Then you look at xbox effort and many dont think its worth the money at nearly a 1000 just for a handheld.
The price has to match its performance.
They can't keep using the excuse that its a pc not a console, when it will ship with just a controller.
Realistically a ps5 could in theory have the workings of a pc within it. Considering the specs of its machine is better than a steam machine, so if it ends up being more costly just because you can have it as a pc then I just dont see the worth.
@Oram77 im not entirely sure why bring up the wolverine announcement?
Insomniac has literally been the most active dev team for sony this entire generation.
It's so strange because some how Insomniac is used all the time regarding this type of thing.
Yet every other developer at Sony has done alot worse.
Naughty Dog haven't released a game since the ps4.
Sucker punch have only just brought out Yōtei, so before that it was just ps4.
Santa Monica, God Of War 2018, shows teaser at ps5 launch, 2020 Doesn't come out with its second game until 2022.
Bend haven't shown anything since Days Gone.
Blue point made demon souls, absolutely nothing since from them.
There is so much talk regarding Horizon but the main team have only put out the sequel and made a pointless remaster of the first game.
Insomniac spiderman, then quickly made a ps5 version, with a miles morales game. Then made a rachet and clank game, then brought out Spiderman 2, which released in 2023,m. With a teaser for wolverine.
When Wolverine releases in 2026. It would of only been 3 years since they released their last game.
Its like banging your head against a brick wall, when you keep hearing people talk about how its sp much better and beneficial for every gamer if they are played everywhere.
If that was the case then their wouldn't be a need to buy a particular console.
This is a business, this isn't a let's make everyone happy.
A product to sell needs a defining factor otherwise what reason does anyone have to buy?
Just like xbox series x right now. What reason do I have to buy 1? Even before they started putting their exclusives onto playstation. You can just buy a half decent pc and buy every xbox game or i can buy a tv and use gamepass.
There really is absolutely no incentive to buy an xbox at all, its just another box if you fancy it.
But Playstation just like Nintendo have a reason, they make quality firdt party exclusive games, which you cant play anywhere else for the most part. That is the selling factor.
Once you give that up, then you just become another box.
Live service games are different, they should be put on to everything to bring in regular money.
But single player games are what made me decide to stick with playstation since the ps1.
And with the steammachine you dont want your competitor having your secret source.
@djlard Well considering Insomniac has been the most active first party publisher this generstion, bringing more games thsn any other, with secure release dates and never delayed a game.
Im pretty confident that it will release when they say it will.
Its been the media and fear mongers about the state of insomanic, all just rumours.
Their track record speaks for itself.
Strangest thing everyone pulling out false rumours regarding them considering every other first party has hardly been present for ps5. Also not once did Insomniac put any info out regarding a delay, it all came from them being silent.
So I have 0 doubts about wolverine, never have.
GTA on the otherhand, it went from fall 2025, to may 2026 and now another 6months added on till November.
Thats quite substantial delays, esp when its been exact dates. Im not confident
To be fair, Stray was a limited time run, at least now we can technically own it and it wont just leave.
Rally game why not, if I can play it.
For some reason my EA account is some how linked to an old email which I have no access to and is absolete, even though I've changed it multiple times and had 0 issues at the beginning of the gen when I made a fresh account. So ea sports games are now online always and I cannot access them.
And the battle simulator you know what, this is actually my highlight of this month a bit of mindless fun. Actually looking forward to it. Something different.
@RoomWithaMoose but what you are missing is your paying for it abyway because your paying for Gamepass.
So the reality is paying for online is already built in.
And I probably can see already that the data is showing anyone who is playing multiplayer on xbox probably has gamepass anyway.
So even with xbox not making it essential to pay for online on pc, the majoriry will be paying into gamepass and reality is most will not bother and just stay on steam anyway.
At least right now playstation offers 3 games at a low price each month and really I dont even play online games but I still pay out for extra.
And playstation games on steam dont really require its online section already.
You just have to look at the sales of ps5 to show that it hasn't stopped people buying.
It is also showing that most games are selling around the same as they have always sold.
So the data really isnt backing any of this up.
What I have seen from my own kids (I have 12) that it really depends on the person, but I have seen a big decline in attention spans and I truly believe that the instant everything right infront of you and the short form videos are causing people to become 10 second Tom's and can't hold their own attention.
What I mean by this is, take for example myself.
I grew up in the late 80s and 90s.
For the majority of my childhood we had basic TV. It consisted of 4 channels.
I had to know when and what time my shows were on to catch them. Every month id wait for my copy of playstation magazine so I could play the demos.
And id wait eagerly for the release of the next big game.
If I wanted to see a film id catch it in the cinema and if I didn't, it would be nearly a year before it came to vhs or even longer before it came to tv, channels even fought for the rights to have it exclusive tv debut.
0 internet until the late 90s so we all relied on monthly magazines and game stores to know when a game was coming.
I think we grew up in a time where patience, was the norm and not a thing we had to learn.
But into todays world.
Everything is already ready at hand, within seconds.
Have a question? Google instant answer.
Want to know about game 1000s of news articles and videos already ready.
Fancy a show, well no problem every episode, at any time, ready to go and can be watched in 1 or 2 sittings.
No child these days has any idea what patience is because they dont need to.
Want to see a film? Missed st the cinema? Well 9/10 times you can buy it or rent it at home the very next day, give it another week or 2 and no doubt amazon or Netflix will have it. Within a couple of weeks if not days.
YouTube? Tik tok?
Well if you dont like it, you can keep flicking through.
And tik tok has truly warped alot of people's minds due to the short clips and constant content.
All of this combined has created a generation of kids with short attention spans because of the sheer instant access to everything and anything within seconds.
So this really is a problem I could see happening in the future.
Games are selling the same, but are they actually being played the same?
Back in the 90s I got a game, whether it was good or not, we would still sit and play through it.
Today, its more likely that they will play for an hour get bored and move on. Which potentially effect sales once my generation, stop playing and buying games.
@SMJ I wouldn't call that a positive. Windows is inferior and does not play well with handhelds and let's be honest the steamdeck is not that far off and half the price.
Also at 1000 id expect at least an oled screen. Not a 1080p.
There are plenty of other handhelds out there, which offer nearly the same for cheaper.
Windows on it really doesnt do much for me.
Its like what would you rather have a ps5 pro, which can implement a 4k res, ray tracing, 60fps or more. And a big screen experience. For 480 here in the uk.
Or a handheld which can only put out 1080 and does not play every single xbox game, only the games in which are play anywhere. For 1000?
Its an absolutely ridiculous price point.
And people were actually moaning at the expensive price point of the ps5 pro.
I just love the o nothing matters from the people who are losing, within the hardware space.
Then she names all the games in which have basically been third party since their existence but microsoft decided to buy the entire publisher for themselves.
They also developed a Netflix style gaming platform which takes away sales from majority of games which go on that platform and more than likely hurts the developers financial spending.
If people dont want to believe thats up to them but the reality is exclusives do matter its the difference between me buying an xbox or a playstation.
If we entirely get rid of exclusive games then what exactly entice people to buy 1 over the other? There isnt and that would mean a drop in sales because it will just come down to what's on offer.
Whether sonys first party games are few and far between at this moment in time, the majority of us know, that the games will come.
Xbox even when they had exclusives, their exclusives have been pretty stale since the 360. We are still getting halo over and over again, we still get gears over and over again. Fable has dropped off. So what exactly have xbox been offering as a difference? Not really anything and that's why xbox has failed, because they've offered nothing new or of quality.
Instead they just bought established franchises and prayed that would help them.
It wasnt an internal effort, it wasnt baked at microsoft.
They basically just gave over their name to another company, slapped an xbox button on a other companies habdheld effort, made slight adjustments to its streamline windows game ui.
And made the price, double what a ps5 costs, for exactly what, im not entirely sure.
I have no doubts that there next console will cost alot.
Considering the handheld offering doesnt give much more than a steamdeck let alone if a steamdeck 2 comes out at hakf the price.
@DefShepherd great points. I dont think we've reached top level graphics yet. Take ghost of yotei looks amazing but you can still tell its a game.
Death stranding is a great example of enviroment.
But I feel the next move in graphics, will be collision tech and character realism.
I still feel we are a bit off on the characters and how they interact with the world.
Even death stranding 2, the characters look amazing but still slightly uncanny valley.
Also I agree frame rate needs to be standard 60fps and 0 dips below.
If youve ever seen path tracing which is the next Gen step, its unbelievable.
What we have now esp on ps5 and the pro we are getting ray tracing but its only on certain aspects of the game and not the entire game itself that would be next Gen.
When I talk about collision, that probably involves the pop in and the un natural ways in which a character navigates the world.
Or a better example would be in sports games. Wwe still has alot of collision problems and unrealistic animations in certain situations, or football still has its problems. That is where next gen needs to shine.
Its just so fustrating that playstation buy them and totally messed them up and its now been 5 yesrs since their last release. With no word and a cancelled project.
But the story was far superior in the first game. I dont mind it being this purely revenge story line, but it doesnt trump a samurai questioning who they are.
The climbing is pretty lackluster considering how much you do it, very ps4 era.
I know people have said about just finding things in the wild, but im finding myself, just buying the maps off the guy and putting them in and heading to it.
It's a nice way of getting information from random people you defeat, but within the first few encounters, id pretty much got every bit of info I needed and it was just repeating pretty quickly.
It would of been better if they gave slight info in the direction, not hes here on the map straight off the bat.
Combat is what makes it a 8.5 and its visuals.
Great game and is in somewheres better than the first but in other ways a little bit of a let down
I dont think so. .I think its more the fact that we've had very few games from first party for a good few years.
Just take a look at the games, we've had 2 game series focus on a father daughter/son partnership.
The problem is we've had nothing else from these studios.
Santa Monica really have only ever made God of war. .
Naughty Dog since the ps4 up till now which we are on the tail end of the console, weve only had really the last of us 4 times.
Yes we got an uncharted game.
I think aswel the provlem we have gotten is wverything has really become open world aswel and unless your packing in a load of activities and a very interactive world, then I feel as though people are getting bored.
We had the uncharted games and then at the end of ps3 we got last of us. The we got God Of War. Then at the end of ps4 we got another last of us, then we got another God of war and I between thay weve had remakes for both last of us games.
Everyone "no way, is putting your games on at launch for a small fee, profitable and isnt hurting sales of games"
Xbox "yes yes, profitable, this is the future"
Awhile later.
Xbox "due to the raising costs and not because the platform wasn't profitable we are having to double the price of our service and give you the same service. Thankyou, I hope we get way more subscriptions at the higher price"
Just makes me life, like games can be put onto a subscription type like Netflix when games costs double or triple a film or series costs to make and years development time compared to a film which normally is done within a year.
I maybe the only 1. But I just don't see the future being game streaming.
It would mean, we have server farms quadruple all over the world just for the processing power alone. Then the infrastructure for delivering the games be vastly improved.
Nvida have a streaming service and its quite shocking that sometimes your having to wait in queues just to play the game you've bought because a certain high spec pc isnt available because everyone is already on it and then your downgraded to another one.
They also introduced a cap on how many hours your allowed to play and that didnt go down well at all.
Is that really the future?
Queues just to play the latest game because everyone is trying to play it?
I really dont see this as the future. I still see us gaming on a console or a pc for the next 50 years.
Just the cost alone to build and maintain a server farm has to be alot more than producing a box which is in your home.
The problem is have with reviews like this and many of this nature.
Is its being reviewed by a grown adult who has matured with games so never really quite gets the appeal and will mark it down for things in which a child, who would play these games need to under platforming.
Kids love basic and easy to play gameplay and the samey aspect is a comfort for children because it feels as though they know it and it grows their confidence.
So its so hard to judge when a grown adult who understands and enjoys depth and more adult games, reviews a child's game.
My 4 year old absolutely loves knack 1 and 2 and has completed it maybe 20 times and isnt bored of it.
He's also completed astrobot and pac man re pac.
And yet even though astrobot is the better game and is very varied, he revisits pac man and knack a hell of a lot more than astro bot.
So just bare that in mind when reviewing these types of games. Its a different era and only the true start of 3d platforming.
It still baffles me apart from the few exceptions that we still dont have a true lord of the rings hope world game. We have the indepth lore of the world. We have the history written. We have the entire map already detailed We have each regions, clearly marked and who lives where.
An entire game is literally written for you, all someone has to do is create it so pretty much everything that a pre production team has to do is already done for them.
And yet here we are and what did we get?
Golum? Hahahaha
We have had some great linear games though and a pretty decent rts game out of it.
But still we need a hogwarts legacy quality game for this franchise
If it was a beloved franchise and was the second or third game, then maybe but for a game which no one truly knows if its any good, that price tag, is way to expensive to even consider.
@Bez87 @RoomWithaMoose what do you mean a new title?
Naughty Dog have revealed a new game HouseMarque have revealed a new game Insomniac have a revealed a new game Were just about to get Ghost Of Yōtei AstroBot was released just last last year. Horizon 2 only came out in 2022 with burning shores releasing in 2023. So the 3rd game prob looking more likely 2027 first look next year. God Of War ragnorak was 2022, Those games its only been 3 years since release. With a 4 to 5 year development cycle we are still a bit off. Sony Bend are always slow. Sony messed up blue point. And topic off weve just had death stranding 2.
Im not sure who else is out their for first party. 3 new ips is pretty good going for right now.
@Jacko11 but you have to remember and I think people forget this. Grubb isn't a leaker, thats not what he really does.
He doesnt really give predictions, he tells people what he has heard. Like most of the journalists do.
I think thats where the confusion comes from. He doesnt set out to be this leak, hes just talking on a podcast about what he has been told. He doesnt go after the scoop
@Zeke68 that's quite weak evidence to suggest you can't trust him. When hes said lots of things which have come true, way more than he has false.
Esp if the only one you can think of is bloodbourne 2, when there was many insiders saying the same thing which to me means it was true at some point but something didnt happen for it not to happen
I mean surely you can't start with 3 which is basically the beginning of big boss and not remake them in the time line sense.
It has to be mgs 1 next then mgs 2 and then mgs 4. From the main line games. Im not clued up on when the spin offs took place but 110% has to be in order of the time line.
Can't even play the dam game to see if it good or not.
Ea stupid 1 time forever account system for some reason has resorted back to a old email in which has been deactivated and does not even exist anymore.
And I've been locked out completely, for about a year now.
Stupid me for signing up years ago with old emails I guess, in what world is it that its harder to change a linked account with psn than changing my bank? Haha
@Ludacritz I mean isnt that just sonic in general? Let's be honest Sonic peeked with the originals and they've never really managed to capture that again. Yes they had some decent cartoon, but the actual games, just completely flopped and the ones which have done well are more throwback games to the originals.
Mario on the other hand seemed to keep going and worked well in other genres throughout the decades.
Sonic games still trying to replicate the magic of the first 3. Even its 3d games they are still more about collecting those rings fast. Putting it vaguely but Sonic just hasn't evolved

Re: 'We Might as Well Dissolve the Team Right Now': Like a Dragon Boss Won't Bend to Overseas Popularity
The turn base combat put me off a d haven't played since.
I'll play the remakes and the spin offs in which use the only combat.
Trust me I've trust and the combat just bores me.
I just dont feel like they should of changed that aspect. We have many many games which are turn base action.
So ill just wait patiently for those to come around.
Re: Geoff Keighley's Cryptic Post Probably Teasing Diablo 4 Announcement for The Game Awards

Seems bit much doe an add on
Re: Poll: Are You Happy with Your PS Plus Essential Games for December 2025?
Not great.
Lego horizon ill give it a go.
Not really any heavy hitters though and you'd think it would be a bit more varied seeing its seeing the year out.
But ps plus games dont just stop and so we will wait and see what january brings.
Overall though not been a bad year for ps plus and with extra, I think the games I've played and have from it more than justifies the sub price.
Re: Metal Gear Solid Delta Producer Is Hoping to Remake MGS4, Rescuing It from PS3 Jail
MGS4 Just doesnt make sense without playing and being invested in the world.
The entire premise of 4 is a throwback to everything what has happened.
So realistically theyve remade 3
Next should be MGS1 then 2 and then have MGS4.
Its like how Sony remastered uncharted 4 and shoved it on pc.
Uncharted 4 does nothing unless youve played 1 2 and 3.
Or remaking star wars episode 6 in 20 years without any mention or build up with episodes 4 and 5.
It just wont have the same impact at all

Re: Valve's Steam Machine May Not Be As Affordable As a PS5
Unfortunately the steam machines power is just a tiny bit less powerful than a ps5.
You can build a pc with the same specs for quite cheap.
If this machine doesnt have its mic drop moment with its price. I see no reason for it.
You really cant expect a device to sell which is dearer than a 5 year old piece of kit which performs better
Re: Twisted Metal Renewed for Season 3 and Gets New Showrunner
How did you not get around to reviewing a sony ip tv series. Come on your slacking.
Because the first season was hilarious and the second was even better.
People really need to watch this series, if they are playstation fans.
Can't say that for the last of us.

Re: Poll: Does the Steam Machine Pose a Threat to PS5?
The SteamCube will be successful if the price is right.
People talking about it being near 1000 in price. The specs are between a series S and a PS5.
If the price doesn't match thise specs then its dead in the water.
I don't think anyone is going to really buy 1, if the price is higher than a ps5 pro.
Considering you can probably build a proper PC for around that price and it will have better specs.
We have to think the PS5 is selling right now for 429.99.
You cant sell it double that.
If it hits around that price, it wont touch playstation but Xbox may aswel just become a third party publisher and forget the console market.
Re: Poll: How Would You Rate State of Play for November 2025?
Well doesn't matter how Playstation promotes it, we of course get thr comments of pointless, no need. Why.
Even though it was a state of play aimed at the Asian Market and not the western world.

Surely it should of been ps5 and pc for a game like this.
Esp for first adopters.

Re: Millions Tune in for Halo PS5's Reveal on PlayStation's Social Media Accounts
@Balie3000 I dont think this will change anything.
This team has had multiple chances of bringing a top class game and reviving halo and have basically failed every time.
Unfortunately they just arent bungie of old.
Hinestly I just wish they'd move on to something new.
Halo is legendary and thats why the views and its sales will be very good.
But Halo ran its course years ago but microsoft/xbox arent creative enough to let them try something new.
Got to think Halo been going since the original Xbox.
You have to think since bungie created Halo.
I finished school, I've bought a house and I've had 5 kids. And loads of things in-between.
Re: Random: Fans Can't Believe Halo Is Coming to PS5 Before Killzone
I think people forget or maybe its nostalgia but Killzone just wasnt that much of a hit.
It had its cult following. It just wasnt a huge success.
Not many talk about the great first person shooters over the years and even mention the killzone franchise.
Halo on the other hand, everyone knows of mastercheif.
Honestly I couldnt even name any characters from the killzone franchise off the top of my head.
Re: PS6 Could Be Less Than Half the Price of Microsoft's 'Very Premium' Next-Gen Xbox
@SMJ I wouldn't call that a positive.
Try make that make sense
Re: PS5 Pro Is Definitely Not the Best Place to Play The Outer Worlds 2 at Launch
Its just poor optimisation from the developers with the ps5 pro.
You can't have games like yotei running and looking amazing and then this running and looking poor.
I dont understand why they dont just release a ps5 version and then release a pro patch once they e figured it out.
Games are coming out with no pro support so its not like they didnt have a choice.
Re: Xbox Boss Believes Sony's Strategy of Console Exclusives Is 'Antiquated'
Re: PS6 Could Be Less Than Half the Price of Microsoft's 'Very Premium' Next-Gen Xbox
I woukdnt be surprised.
Judt look at their attempt at a handheld.
Re: PS5 Controller's Removable Battery Seemingly Debunked for Now
If anyone is playing long enough that the battery runs out, I think its time to just put it down and do something else for a bit.
The battery lasts over 6 hours at least. Thats a long enough session for a break.
Also it doesnt take that long to recharge.
Re: Talking Point: PS6 In 2027 - How Do You Feel About Sony's Next-Gen Console?
@DefShepherd great points.
Re: Poll: Are You Happy with Your PS Plus Extra, Premium Games for October 2025?
@FinneasGH I mean October really isn't more than Halloween. Nothing going on this month.
So to have 2 great horror games avaiable and Alan wake 2. I mean what could be a better month
Re: Mini Review: As Dusk Falls (PS5) - Creative Character-Driven Drama
@Stevemalkpus its made it to extra
Re: Sony's Bluepoint Studio Recruiting for Third-Person Melee Action Game
Its just so fustrating that playstation buy them and totally messed them up and its now been 5 yesrs since their last release. With no word and a cancelled project.
I blame Jim
Re: Talking Point: PS6 In 2027 - How Do You Feel About Sony's Next-Gen Console?
I like how the poll says games over hardware.
Its like people are blind and haven't seen the absolute domination pf epic games for the passed few years.
Games will come regardless.
I want ps6 to be a power house. I want the next jump in graphics.
Re: Poll: What Review Score Would You Give Ghost of Yotei?
I've gone with 9 but its a low 9. Maybe 8.5.
Yes it improves in some aspects of the first.
Great game and is in somewheres better than the first but in other ways a little bit of a let down
Re: Talking Point: Are You Getting Sick of Sony's Supposedly 'Samey' Approach to Story Telling?
Re: PS Plus Looks Better Than Ever After New Xbox Game Pass Price Rises
Everyone "no way, is putting your games on at launch for a small fee, profitable and isnt hurting sales of games"
Xbox "yes yes, profitable, this is the future"
Awhile later.
Xbox "due to the raising costs and not because the platform wasn't profitable we are having to double the price of our service and give you the same service. Thankyou, I hope we get way more subscriptions at the higher price"
Just makes me life, like games can be put onto a subscription type like Netflix when games costs double or triple a film or series costs to make and years development time compared to a film which normally is done within a year.
Its just not happening
Re: Sony Is a 'Terrible Company' That's 'Blowing It in the Games Business', Says Michael Pachter
Re: Mini Review: Pac-Man World 2 Re-Pac (PS5) - Fine Remake Won't Set the World on Fire
We all had to start somewhere.
Re: Rumour: The Lord of the Rings Is Getting a Game to 'Compete with Hogwarts Legacy'
It still baffles me apart from the few exceptions that we still dont have a true lord of the rings hope world game.
We have the indepth lore of the world.
We have the history written.
We have the entire map already detailed
We have each regions, clearly marked and who lives where.
Re: Poll: How Would You Rate State of Play for September 2025?
@SuntannedDuck2
Very fair points for someone who isnt interested in playstation games.
I think people have forgotten though, that at different times of year, they have to cater to different types of gamers.
This actual showing is linked to Tokyo game show. So many maybe more aimed at japanese gamers.
I mean the book style game seemed OK but for me those games arent for me.
Its like hollowknight, honestly I feel like thst gameplay is pretty bland and honestly dont understand the hype for it.
So what in your mind is games you are interested in?
Re: Good God, Crimson Desert's PS5 Collector's Edition Costs a Whopping $280
To expensive. For a brand new ip.
If it was a beloved franchise and was the second or third game, then maybe but for a game which no one truly knows if its any good, that price tag, is way to expensive to even consider.
Re: Poll: How Would You Rate State of Play for September 2025?
@Bez87 @RoomWithaMoose what do you mean a new title?
Naughty Dog have revealed a new game
HouseMarque have revealed a new game
Insomniac have a revealed a new game
Were just about to get Ghost Of Yōtei
AstroBot was released just last last year.
Horizon 2 only came out in 2022 with burning shores releasing in 2023.
So the 3rd game prob looking more likely 2027 first look next year.
God Of War ragnorak was 2022,
Those games its only been 3 years since release. With a 4 to 5 year development cycle we are still a bit off.
Sony Bend are always slow.
Sony messed up blue point.
And topic off weve just had death stranding 2.
Im not sure who else is out their for first party.
3 new ips is pretty good going for right now.
Re: Poll: How Would You Rate State of Play for September 2025?
Still can't believe that comments are still saying awful or its the worst.
Like what are you actually expecting? Its a serious question.
We got 2 first party game reveals. Some decent 3rd party showings, a decent announcement for ps plus.
I literally dont see what exactly people are expecting.
I really feel as though every single game Sony first party have has to be in a state of play for it to be any good.
That isnt reality.
It was a excellent show just for the fact we got to see housemarque new game and a pretty lengthy look at wolverine.
People saying speakers and a controller? They were 30 second ads the rest were games and nearly everyone had a date attached.
Top quality Showing.
You really can't be disappointed that we got only 2 first party games.
Re: PS5 Fans Anticipate Big State of Play Livestream This Week
@Jacko11 thats incorrect, its not even his podcast and most of thr stuff he says has been true.
Only 1 person has said 1 thing he didnt get was the bloodbourne 2 rumour.
He actually just slips it into conversation on the podcast. I wouldnt say thats all he tries to bait you with. They just talk. Like other podcasts.
Re: PS5 Fans Anticipate Big State of Play Livestream This Week
@Jacko11 but you have to remember and I think people forget this. Grubb isn't a leaker, thats not what he really does.
He doesnt really give predictions, he tells people what he has heard. Like most of the journalists do.
I think thats where the confusion comes from. He doesnt set out to be this leak, hes just talking on a podcast about what he has been told. He doesnt go after the scoop
Re: PS5 Fans Anticipate Big State of Play Livestream This Week
@Zeke68 that's quite weak evidence to suggest you can't trust him. When hes said lots of things which have come true, way more than he has false.
Esp if the only one you can think of is bloodbourne 2, when there was many insiders saying the same thing which to me means it was true at some point but something didnt happen for it not to happen
Re: Christopher Judge Hopeful the Actor Playing Kratos in God of War Show 'Loves the Big Guy' as Much as the Fans
Its going to have to be Jason momoa or Alan Ritchson.
The only 2 who have the height and body to pull off a more natural Kratos.
Judge would be a good fit for atmosphere and a authentic kratos but I dont think he's young ans fit enough to pull it off physically.
Either that or an unknown actor
Re: PS5 Fans Anticipate Big State of Play Livestream This Week
@Jacko11 when has grubb been wrong?
Everything ive heard from him has always ended up coming true.
Re: Konami Asks Which Metal Gear Solid Game You Want Remade Next
I mean surely you can't start with 3 which is basically the beginning of big boss and not remake them in the time line sense.
It has to be mgs 1 next then mgs 2 and then mgs 4. From the main line games. Im not clued up on when the spin offs took place but 110% has to be in order of the time line.
Re: Out Today: Skate Makes Its Big Return in Early Access on PS5, PS4, and It's Free to Play
Haha
Re: PS5 Firmware Update Out Tomorrow, Brings Power Saver Mode, DualSense Controller Pairing
Reading thr comments and my own opinions about this mode.
I don't understand why they are adding it but they haven't given out a reason for it at all.
People keep talking about it being a test bed for developers then why roll it out to us? They could just update their dev kits.
There has to be alot more to it than just a test.
Playstation just not being transparent.
Re: 'Genesis Does What Nintendon't': Sonic Racing Takes Shots at Mario Kart World
@Ludacritz I mean isnt that just sonic in general?
Let's be honest Sonic peeked with the originals and they've never really managed to capture that again.
Yes they had some decent cartoon, but the actual games, just completely flopped and the ones which have done well are more throwback games to the originals.
Mario on the other hand seemed to keep going and worked well in other genres throughout the decades.
Sonic games still trying to replicate the magic of the first 3. Even its 3d games they are still more about collecting those rings fast. Putting it vaguely but Sonic just hasn't evolved
