But you really need to hit Heavy Rain. It's probably one of the best, if not thee best in this type of genre. Very gritty and grounded, with alot of twists and turns.
Also Fahrenheit has to be given your attention. It's a bit dated but the concept was amazing, esp for the time and the story is very compelling.
I'd play both before beyond two Souls, I really wasn't a fan.
@NEStalgia that's true but that's still a sale and not release.
Alot of games if I'm not mistaken are normally coming out at 40.
Of course there are exceptions and they are mostly console centric games.
But it has to be an absolutely exceptional game to warrant a physical disc price on PC and for it to do well.
Or it takes a sale anyway to get people through the door.
Majority of players probably have a secondary gaming machine and with the numbers we have majority are opting for a playstation.
So many probably have already played the game.
Also majority of PC players don't have a top tier rig, like myself I had a top tier rig in 2015/16 cost me 4 grand and I played everything on it what was third party because it was leaps and bounds better than console.
But I still had a ps4 for exclusives.
To play games at top tier today, I'd have to spend another 4 grand to get what I want from a PC but my PC is good enough for my tycoon games and so I bought a ps5 for everything else.
So my guess with this is really the only people truly buying first party playstation games are the ones who have top tier and don't need a console.
There is no excuse for a game like this to run anywhere below 30fps.
This isn't a needs a pro, it's a they are terrible at optimization.
A game so confined to the point it basically.is a modern take on a point and click adventure that frame rate shouldn't even come into play.
Esp not from first party.
Not when we have games like Spiderman 2, Horizon 2, God Of War Ragnarok. All amazing in their own right, 2 of them are huge open worlds, and all run at stable 30fps fidelity or 60fps performance, with at least 1 game having the option of a ray trace 40fps version.
There is 101 more things going on in the back ground of all 3 of those games than a game which has the exact same things happening each scene. The only.thing changes is the scene after you've made a choice.
Wait.?.?.?
People still use Wikipedia to check out games?
That's literally the last place I even bother going for anything.
Last resort.
You know when you think the world can't get anymore insane and peoples common sense can't get anymore low. You then read about thus and think nope, people can.
I find history fascinating and even more fascinating that people 1000s years ago wanted to leave a reminder to the future of what they did.
Now we live in the age of altering our own stories and wiping and distorting our own.

Dead space remake 9/10 Wwe 2k24 the newest wwe game and to many a back to form for the series.
Those 2 alone cost the same amount as the subscription price.
Plus I've wanted to get dead space remake since it came out but I just didn't feel like it was my type of game to fully invest as I had played it originally but never really got into it and ended up just forgetting about it.
But now get to play through it and I love it, it's like a modern day Sci fi resident evil.
Wwe I could take it or leave it, but only because I fell out of love with wrestling once the attitude era came to an end.
What I would take for a WWE Attitude full service 2k game. With all the story lines they had. I know they did a category in their game a few year back but it only really scratched the service.
Unlike many others I didn't have a doubt that they could pull it off.
People are always quick to judge because the other games didn't pan out quite as they planned.
What people forget to mention because most just read headlines and don't play the game.
That their games are top notch on horror and atmosphere and for 3/4 of their games they nail it, their games have always missed the target in the final quarter.
So it just shows give them a blue print and they'll nail it. The story was already written all they had to do is recreate the atmosphere of silent hill and that's what they are good at.
I still can't believe they are trying to save the game or carrying on. Cut ya losses and move on.
I think I'm still in disbelief, that Rocksteady the 1 publisher who literally nailed down what it takes to put put a true superhero masterpiece, follows it up with 2 great sequels, nails down combat, nails down the atmosphere and the feeling of being the batman, with many ways to improve upon it and make great stories within that universe.
To go from that where they could do no wrong.
Release a live service game where the main. Characters are probably the most least liked group in Comics and them killing the Justice league, in which we've had 0 games about.
Nit only this put the enemies are just generic, the developers who literslly solidified decent combat in their games chose third person bog standard shooting as the main mechanic and the game itself plays like a ps3 style game with no modern takes with its story telling. Yes cut scenes are great but the adventure in-between feels like old standards.
They have done exactly what WB did with it's DCU.
Made great origin story for 1 person and then rushed the rest of the films.
Pointless Ps4 og? The game was patched for ps5? So why isn't that one being the comparison, who have people forgot this. Also the hair on the og looks more natural then the ps5.
You really think the kids of today will care for that? The only people who will be purchasing those are going to be people who were around and played the Soul Reaver games.
Soul Reaver was an absolute Classic of a series. It deserves a fresh take and graphic overhaul for modern hardware.
Not a take the originals and smooth out the graphics and give it a paint job.
I'm just over the rehashed efforts of remasters, we got a plenty of those in the ps3 and ps4 eras. But when you get remakes like resi 2, 3 and 4, Demon Souls, Dead Space, and mgs snake eater. I for one appreciate the effort to breath new life into old games in that way. Modern graphics, Morden controls with the original spirit of those games.
Horizon don't get me started on that. It already got a PS5 patch, I ain't paying 9.99 for a remaster of a game in which already got a patch.
I know I'm a minority.
I've been playing games since the 80s I'm more of a forward looking gamer than a gamer who wants to play old games with a paint job. If that makes sense.
When you put it in a list like that it's a bit underwhelming.
Lots of the filler games all looked the same with the fight huge monsters.
To many remasters and not enough actual remakes from the ground up types. I think I'm just over the whole 4k lick of paint remasters and want full blown resi demon soul remakes at this point, alot of these deserve that treatment.
Dino Crisis I'm excited to play again that was an amazing game, but it's 1 game in which I think they should of done a resi style remake of, the modern engine would make this game amazing and breath new life into that series.
Ghost was a surprise but I just don't know maybe it's because I know what I'm getting or the fact isn't Jin. That I wasn't that blown away by it,
Maybe if I see a 4k trailer of it and a deep dive.
Also the ps5 pro montage what the actual.
6 games on repeat to make it look like they have loads of titles being given the enhanced treatment. It's not a good look for an expensive console. It doesn't shout out you need this.
Because what I saw was a montage of ps5 pro enhanced games, literally on repeat for 60seconds. I literally saw the same games over and over, we're they going for the o we don't really have any enhanced games so if we show the same ones over and over then it looks like we have more to offer.
Also throughout I just saw old games with a lick of paint, not even a demon Souls type blue point overhaul. Just the old games smoothed out and a paint job.
In this modern times for myself that just isn't good enough, they deserve a true reboot of sorts.
The same way demon Souls was built from the ground up but keeping the original combat.
Same way Capcom have breathed new life into the old resident evil games.
Same way Dead Space kept it's suspenseful horror but graphically and audio they completely overhauled it for modern times.
And last of all, sorry but we 100% didn't need a Horizon Remaster, they literally patched the game for PS5 anyway. 9.99 is an insult
@MrMeeeseeeks that was my thought all the way through.
Every pme of those games looked like it could of been part of the same game.
It was meh with a few exceptions.
Others may like it but I'm so over remasters these days.
When you have resident evil, dead space, final fantasy, metal gear solid, Demon Souls. All rebooting/remaking the old games, I just think why even bother just remastering games. Yes Legacy Of Kain were great for it's time.
But I don't want a 4k paint job, I want a totally revamped remade version in the same way all the games I mentioned have been.
Horizon remake. Just go away and leave it alone 1 gen jump ain't worth my time.
And the remasters come on, we live in an age where resident evil games and dead space are being remade from the ground up not just lick of paint. Even mgs snake eater is having a proper 4k texture and animations overhaul. .time to stop doing the bare minimal and bring out proper remakes.. but I know I'm in the minority.
Ghost may of been the saviour for it. For myself but even that I didn't get the same feeling I got when I saw ghost for the first time.
Maybe it's because it isn't Jin carrying on. But I'm glad we finally got a first party game reveal from the big hitters. So I'm excited to see more of it.
Overall non of it a cared about really but that may just be the games I'm not interested in.
I was taking the absolute p*** with everything I said.
I'll just say it straight, instead of being sarcastic.
9/10 of the big games released for ps5, first party have been shown off or have been announced at a state of play.
We waited years for a PlayStation Showcase.
Then it came and 90% of that show was of third party developers, the first party stuff, was all live service games apart from a little tease of spiderman 2 at the end, which we already knew about.
It was probably the worst showing of a showcase (*which is ment to be Playstations top tier show) we have ever had.
It was that bad at the summer game fest they had more bangers for playstation than PlayStation had at their show. ( if memory serves me right a deeper look at spiderman 2 and the last of us factions 2 was the summer game fest show closer.)
So in reality we now cannot even come close to know what type of show we are going to get, nor do we even know what they are going to show us.
Yes they have been more transparent with keeping people's expectations at bay.
But when they held their huge showcase they literally called it a look at first party and the future of ps5.
What we got was a majority third party showcase with a bare minimum sprinkle of first party.
So yes, this state of play could be full of surprises and a good chunk of what's to come from first party or nothing at all.
You truly just don't know anymore.
Not when their smaller state of play shows have given us more wow moments than their major showcase show.
@BlaizeV you may be correct in thr number of people with a ps4 but at what point do you leave tech behind and move forward?
Ps2 was the fastest and biggest selling console of all time (155million) and yet ps3 came and we left it behind, even when it was the most expensive console there was.
We had a few cross over titles for ps3 and ps4 but we moved on within 12 months.
Now we are at the PS5, basically selling the exact same amount ps4 was selling at the same time, yet we are 4 nearly 5 years in and still we are having development be spread between more consoles than ever before.
The Switch even though old tech it's still Nintendo flagship console. Not only that but the switch is the 3rd best selling console of all time sitting at 145million.
Ps4 was only 117million, the ps5 right now is sitting at 60million
So reality is there are only 57million ps4s in use now, as over half have migrated to ps5.
Plus this is a small indie team, my guess is they've had to pick and choose what consoles they develop for as the team just isn't that big.
The difference between now and when the ps3 came out was the economy wasn't on its arse and people had disposable income.
Rent and peoples mortgages have doubled.
Bread and milk have doubled in price.
Gas and energy bills have doubled
Insurances even though slither of people ever have to claim on them have some how soared upwards.
Electronic goods and PC parts aren't coming down after a year or.more on the market they are going up.
But all this is happening while 99% of wages haven't really changed that much since the ps3, unless your a skilled worker or working high up in a company and even then due to all the prices raising, our wages haven't doubled.
So yes 700 or 1000+ is alot of money for something which may or may not hit 60fps at 4k.
I was hitting 4k 60 on PC nearly 10 years ago. Prices just haven't come down.
I'm always going to be subbed to extra, the value for what you get each month is well worth it over a year.
So doesn't matter if some months are worse than others, it pays for itself if you think about the games which get released and given away.
I subbed to premium to give it ago but honestly I really don't see the appeal of going back and playing the old games, they are dated and clunky and reality doesn't match up with what I remember when I played them all at launch
But this month is slim pickings really. But then it pulls itself back by having plucky squire.
@DennisReynolds I have to call out your very incorrect comments.
By the time the nes was released every tv was standard 60hz. Europe had pal which was 50hz.
But even Europe most tvs were capable of 60hz. Going back to the start of tvs. There wasn't really anything before it. You even had adapters for ps1s at one point due to pirated games in England being 60hz America copies rather than the pal version, used to sit on the back of the ps1
And your assumption about dreamcast is also wrong, well over half of it's games were 60fps.
Apart from Nintendo who's games basically were all 60. Dreamcast was the second console which had the majority of it's games running at 60fps.
Dreamcast was probably thee best console out that generation, it just flopped at market and not because the console was lacking, just miss management by Sega.
But pretty much any game before the ps3 was basically 60fps was the standard.
It was only until 360 and ps3 came that the standard literally dropped down to 30fps due to graphics becoming more complex. It did begin on ps2, but not as bad as when the 360 and ps3 hit.
So reality was 60fps was always the standard until consoles and developers brought it down to 30.
Japan finally adopted a home console. Which wasn't a handheld and had very good sales to then jack the price up there?
Non of what Sony is doing makes any sense.
Crazy to think astro bot isn't selling even I've handed over my crash for it.
I wonder though if people.may wait for Christmas as it is a kids game more than anything, so they just haven't bothered, just yet.
But I mean how long has it been since a true platformer hit a Sony console, I've always felt console gaming has literally grown up with me and we are in an age now that every triple game is mature rated.
I wonder if that's had an effect on a lot of casual or semi gamers out there that the only games they'lltouch are mature games.
My first thought was ps5 will come out by the time ps5 pro comes out they would of cut the price of the base console and then the pro comes in at launch ps5 prices. But of course we know the story now and ps5 has gone up in price.
But even then I thought 599 was steep.
So 699 for a console just to basically add a marginal increase isn't justified for myself.
Also to announce it now and be right within just over a month, really doesn't give me.time to figure out how to raise an extra 700.
The time frame is way to short.
They should of announced this way earlier in my eyes, for people to wrap their heads around and save up.
@Bobobiwan I put was and I was ment to write wasn't.
He 100% said "ALMOST" and that's what I was referring to.
He was so shakey while saying most of it, and the comparisons being shrunk down aswel and then having to point out what actually was clearer.
Honestly I think because he knew the price himself, he already knows its a impossible sell.
I've bought every single console at launch at cost.
This will be the first 1 which I will skip.
The thing is I knew what we was getting, but I was all in, but the price point doesn't justify the 220 price increase over the base console. It just doesn't.
At least ps4 pro came in at the same price as the ps4 at launch as the ps4 had a price cut.
I don't know what other people's situations are, your fine if your living at home with disposable income, but if yout like me, have kids, have to pay the bills, I have to justify what I'm paying. 549 maybe max 599.
Considering the new ps5 with disc drive is selling at 479 brand new. But 700 is ridiculous for an almost console.
I already have a PC which I spent years saving for and spending 3grand on but that was a long term investment and a multi functional piece of kit.
I just can't believe the price tag. That's it. The actual machine I saw coming bur that price. I'm good
@naruball yes as ever, taking a quote out of context and spinning it.
He quite clearly says it in meaning just take some time away from the industry, get a different Job to tide you over but keep up with advancements and keep looking.
We can all talk about greed and all that but that's reality it's always been the same, you get a job get promoted and promoted and promoted, it's how most jobs work and what people aim for, if that's the route they go.
Most forget Jim Ryan, Chris Deering, many of the management or upper management didn't just walk into that job they went from the bottom to the top.
End of the day, he's exactly right. Sometimes jobs just don't work out, we all have been there.
People calling this guy entitled, your the ones living in dream World.
He's actually basically saying just get a temp job and keep your eyes on advancements and job opportunities and not just sit at home waiting and praying another job comes along and before you know it your out of money.
The console is for people who bought the PS5 at launch and are ready for a secondary system (I've done this throughout playstations consoles, anyway)
Like right now, I have a launch ps5, my sons who share a room have a slim, my other son and daughter don't have one in their room, so I'm already thinking about getting a pro for myself and they can have my launch PS5, it means they can have simple games installed for them to mess with and it also can put Netflix, disney and Amazon on it.
Then you've got the people who are still just gaming on PC who then decide they fancy somet new, go for a console, because a 4090 is expensive all by itself, let alone if you need to upgrade anything else on top so you don't have a bottleneck.
Marathon is a competitive online shooter only, so that's a risk and won't be mainstream.
The other game, I don't think so.
I'm not sure if you are aware but this stuff was revealed before the break down within Bungie where they're was lay offs and an entire team of people moved away from bungie and became a new studio within PlayStation for their game.
So where does that leave Bungie as a team? We don't actually know.
All we do know right now, is it's destiny 2 well.into 2026.
Which from what I am seeing is a big decline in players, apart from the hard-core destiny players.
Otherwise they aren't even interested in bringing new players in, even the destiny 2 fans are getting fed up.
Listen if you guys are giving out 6/10 to a game like this, was criminal, its 7.5/8 out of 10.
Cant take the scores seriously when a quite bog standard simple game like Vampire Survives gets given a 9/10. I mean that game deserves a 6 out of 10. Its a fun little game above average.
Star Wars outlaws is a great first attempt at an open world style star wars game without light sabers being the main draw. Its fun and the graphics at times are top notch.
If they do go down the road of a sequel, it has a huge potential to be a 9/10
Dam right I'm playing. Waited till the kids went to school, downloaded and off I went.
Seeing as I had 2 hours sleep as I work nights.
I waited for the mrs to go off and do her things pretended to go bed and snuck in and did the first couple of levels.
I nean seriously when was the last time we had a triple a platformer? You just dont get them anymore, only rare occasions and that dualsense, it just baffles me why no other games are doing this in their games. It just seems like a no brainer when you play astro
The funny thing is so many moaned and moaned and moaned regarding Horizon ip being flooded and to much and that was just on rumours and not even confirmed.
Yet right now ConCord literally did flood the market with, comics, cartoons, and an episode in a new series before it had even had chance to epically fail.

I love their games.
But I'm still baffled at how they are still going.
It's took this long to make 10mil
The tech and talent they use can't be cheap for every game.
Yet they ain't selling GTA level numbers, so how are they still going.
It was 2018 so it's been 6 nearly 7 years since their last game.
Intriguing how some of these companies even make money.

Re: Until Dawn Is One of Sony's Worst Performing PC Ports to Date
It maybe because some how playstation are trying to sell their games at top whack on steam like they do on psn.
When the fact is PC players myself included are getting triple games for 10 or 20 below these brick and motor prices for new releases.
The pricing model for PC is far cheaper than console normally.

Re: Poll: Did You Pre-Order a PS5 Pro?
How does a poll when announced that the majority said the exact opposite of wanting a pro.
Turns out it's nearly half n half on pre orders and not.
Where did all the pre order people come from?
Hahahaha
Re: Poll: Did You Pre-Order a PS5 Pro?
Normally am the first inline to buy the upgrade console but still I truly do not see the actual point.
The price tag is way to high for really minimal gain.
I'll get one once the price comes down.
But let's be honest the differences are only night and day on games in which the developers have been lacking with optimization.
I mostly use my ps5 for exclusives and my PC with gforce now, which is a game changer aslong as you have the Internet connection.
Plus I'm playing games. I'm not sat looking at a single frame to check out the 4k texture on leaves.
I'd of got one if the price was just above the ps5 but I can't justify the jump in price for it.
Re: All Eyes on Aloy (Again), as Horizon Zero Dawn Remastered Comparison Does the Rounds
@ChrisDeku but reality is horizon didn't need a 4k native version
It used checker boarding and even digital foundary said when it released that you could never tell the difference really.
So with 60fps with checker boarding, it really is a cash grab.
Re: Horizon Zero Dawn PS4's Price Doubles After PS5 Remaster Announcement
@Alps_Stranger 100% agree. It's just wrong.
Re: All Eyes on Aloy (Again), as Horizon Zero Dawn Remastered Comparison Does the Rounds
Pointless
Ps4 og? The game was patched for ps5?
So why isn't that one being the comparison, who have people forgot this.
Also the hair on the og looks more natural then the ps5.

Re: Poll: What Did You Think of Sony's State of Play for September 2024?
@BasedBear did they though? Did they?
Re: Poll: What Did You Think of Sony's State of Play for September 2024?
@MrMeeeseeeks that was my thought all the way through.
Every pme of those games looked like it could of been part of the same game.
It was meh with a few exceptions.
Others may like it but I'm so over remasters these days.
When you have resident evil, dead space, final fantasy, metal gear solid, Demon Souls.
All rebooting/remaking the old games, I just think why even bother just remastering games. Yes Legacy Of Kain were great for it's time.
But I don't want a 4k paint job, I want a totally revamped remade version in the same way all the games I mentioned have been.
Re: Poll: What Did You Think of Sony's State of Play for September 2024?
I'm rating for what it was.
Terrible.
Glad people got what they wanted out of it.
Re: State of Play Coming Today, 20+ PS5, PSVR2 Games Included
@thefourfoldroot1 came out last year buddy.
Where you been?
You've been waiting and it's already out.
Re: State of Play Coming Today, 20+ PS5, PSVR2 Games Included
@Frmknst @Oz_Who_Dat_Dare
Re: State of Play Coming Today, 20+ PS5, PSVR2 Games Included
This could be the greatest state of play we have ever seen.....
Or just a bore fest which didn't need a state of play.
You 1just don't know.
People are saying we'll they didn't mention first party.
I mean even if they did cough showcase cough their no guarantee any will turn up.
Hahaha fingers crossed
Re: Days Gone PS5 Remaster Rumours Start to Snowball
@Weebleman I agree with you.
Days Gone got a bad rap for it's early release with bugs.
But I'm not ashamed to admit it.
I had alot more fun and was more engaged in the story than I was with the last of us part 2.
I never even completed part 2 because it literally bored me to tears and how long that game was.
Days Gone gave me the freedom to stop what I was doing and just go kill some zombies.
The potential is there for a great sequel.
One of thee most underrated games I've ever had the pleasure of playing.
Re: Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii Might Be the Series' Most Insane Game Yet, Sailing to PS5, PS4 in February
They got me at action base.
I'm in
Let alone the insane theme of the game hahahaha.
Re: Rumour: Days Gone PS5 Remaster Speculation Starts to Spread
If this the less exciting remake grubb was talking about.
I truly don't think it is, because this re make is far better than a horizon remake.
The game was very good,
I think the game itself had potential tp be even better and well deserves a sequel.
I actually enjoyed it more than the last of us
Re: The Plucky Squire (PS5) - Joyful, Inventive Adventure on Every Page of PS Plus Gem
Re: Vince Zampella Defends PS5 Pro Price, Says 'It's Actually Not That Bad'
But wages are just stagnant.and haven't gone up
Re: The Plucky Squire (PS5) - Joyful, Inventive Adventure on Every Page of PS Plus Gem
@BlaizeV hmmmmm because at some point we have to move on from the ps4 we are half way through the ps5 life cycle.
No other console has ever had this many cross overs.
Time to leave the ps4 and move on.
The only things releasing on ps4 should be the updated sport games and a few little stragglers.
Re: Poll: Are You Happy with Your PS Plus Extra, Premium Games for September 2024?
I'm always going to be subbed to extra, the value for what you get each month is well worth it over a year.
So doesn't matter if some months are worse than others, it pays for itself if you think about the games which get released and given away.
I subbed to premium to give it ago but honestly I really don't see the appeal of going back and playing the old games, they are dated and clunky and reality doesn't match up with what I remember when I played them all at launch
But this month is slim pickings really. But then it pulls itself back by having plucky squire.
That was day 1 for me anyway, so I save money
Re: PS5 Pro Probably Won't Run GTA 6 at 4K 60FPS, Tech Expert Claims
@DennisReynolds I read it after. Wasn't pulling you. I was giving history lesson. And honestly you've brought up bad memories.
Dreamcast was a solid console, in my mind it was the best of the bunch and yet failed
Re: PS5 Pro Probably Won't Run GTA 6 at 4K 60FPS, Tech Expert Claims
Re: Filming on Ubisoft's Watch Dogs Movie Has Wrapped
Didn't like watch dogs in the end.
I actually found the first game to have the potential to be a great franchise, I liked the more gritty dark take.
Then they went all saints row by legion.
But then again that's the same with saints row.
I loved the first game and the second for me was a perfect mix of rag to riches, buy up businesses and take over parts of the city bit by bit.
But instead of keeping that tone they went all in on the comedic aspect and I felt like that was the worst part.
Honestly hope the movie takes a more mature tone and goes with the first game back drop rather than the comedic over the top later games.
Re: Annapurna Interactive Exodus Sees Entire Staff Resign
@OthmaneAD wait..... what??
Not a great studio?
They was a publisher and helped publish many great indie titles.
Do you even know what your talking about
Re: Japan Sales Charts: Astro Bot Barely Registers at Retail, PS5 Numbers Plummet After Price Hike
I don't quite get what Sony was thinking.
Re: Astro Bot Update 1.003 Is Available to Download on PS5 Now
Not a single bug, not even a glitch and I've been hammering the game making sure I 100% each level, in 1 or 2 goes.
Unbelievable how good this game is.
Re: Poll: Would You Buy PS5 Pro If It Was Cheaper?
I was prepared for a 599 max.
Re: PS5 Pro Announced, Costs $700 and Out in November
I'm good
Re: Poll: Are You Sold on PS5 Pro?
I'm the most hard-core playstation owner there is and I was all for a ps5 pro.
But at £699.99 no disc drive, not even including the stand, nor does it come with the dualsense edge controller, yes a 2tb ssd.
But watching that presentation did, anyone else feel as though even Mark Cerny was clutching at straws to show you the differences.
He even said it himself, that it may not get to 4k 60fps, in his wording.
I always knew it was going to be a graphics update, with a better ceiling for developers.
But nothing in that presentation screamed yes I need to buy, nothing was shown that can justify a £220 price increase from the ps5 slim dosc version.
That is truly what it comes down to.
£700 it aint worth it and the time scale aswel.
Its a month away, no time for anyone to actually save up.
I xant believe I'm saying it but I believe this maybe the firdt console I actually pass on.
Re: PS5 Pro Announced, Costs $700 and Out in November
I was ps5 pro positive until I watched that.
Even Mark Cerny seemed to have a hard time talking about the differences and its all probably because he knew the price.
I'm with everyone, that price is ridiculous.
I was actually expecting a little more than ps5.
In normal times we would of seen a ps5 price cut by now and ps5 pro coming at that price point. Similar to the ps4 pro.
But 700, nearly 200 more than a ps5 is not worth a slight increase in visuals.
The crazy thing if anyone noticed was Mark cerny was confident on hitting 4k 60, the wording of it was way off.
This is dead in arrival unfortunately
Re: Ex-PlayStation Boss Reckons Axed Game Devs Should Just 'Drive an Uber'
Re: PS5 Pro Showcase Coming Today, Hosted by Mark Cerny
@Elitepatriot but this console isn't for you.
Re: Bungie Commits to Destiny 2 DLC and Support Through 2026
@Ninerguy1608 Big?
Re: Bungie Commits to Destiny 2 DLC and Support Through 2026
Still can't believe they ain't moving on.
Honestly you'd of thought with the title final shape bringing back a beloved character within the series.
They would of wrapped it up and moved on. New engine fresh start.
At this point if you ain't already in the eco system of destiny 2 you ain't going to be.
I want to see them tackle single player again the original halos, we're by far great Sci fi epics.
Unfortunately destiny aren't kings of live service.
Re: PS5 Pro Showcase Set for Tomorrow, Hosted by Mark Cerny
The hype is real.
Does it really matter whether it's needed or not?
If you don't want it, don't buy it.
If you want your games to run at the best they can for half the price of a gaming rig then, buy one
Re: Guns More of a 'Fallback Solution' in Indiana Jones and the Great Circle
I just hope it's better than what I've seen.
The gun play and whip animations looked poor.
The best parts of the game which felt indy was the 3rd person sections.
Re: Poll: What Review Score Would You Give Star Wars Outlaws?
Listen if you guys are giving out 6/10 to a game like this, was criminal, its 7.5/8 out of 10.
Cant take the scores seriously when a quite bog standard simple game like Vampire Survives gets given a 9/10. I mean that game deserves a 6 out of 10. Its a fun little game above average.
Star Wars outlaws is a great first attempt at an open world style star wars game without light sabers being the main draw.
Its fun and the graphics at times are top notch.
If they do go down the road of a sequel, it has a huge potential to be a 9/10
Re: Poll: Are You Playing Astro Bot?
Dam right I'm playing.
Waited till the kids went to school, downloaded and off I went.
Seeing as I had 2 hours sleep as I work nights.
I waited for the mrs to go off and do her things pretended to go bed and snuck in and did the first couple of levels.
I nean seriously when was the last time we had a triple a platformer? You just dont get them anymore, only rare occasions and that dualsense, it just baffles me why no other games are doing this in their games. It just seems like a no brainer when you play astro
Re: Concord Will Remain in Prime Video's Secret Level Anthology Series
The funny thing is so many moaned and moaned and moaned regarding Horizon ip being flooded and to much and that was just on rumours and not even confirmed.
Yet right now ConCord literally did flood the market with, comics, cartoons, and an episode in a new series before it had even had chance to epically fail.
Re: Black Myth: Wukong's Xbox Delay Isn't Due to Platform Limitations, Says Microsoft
Microsoft trying to act like the victim and throwing words around.
They did that last time and it turned out to be xbox series s again and again and again.
They may aswel just pull the plug on consoles.
