My wife is HOOKED on this game. She's been playing it on Switch, but I bought this right away on PlayStation. Now she can play it with whichever controller she picks up.
Selling Crossworld for $70 was a massive mistake on SEGA's part. It also came out around the same time as Mario Kart World. If SEGA was smart, they would have undercut MKW dramatically, and then they would have made Nintendo look even worse with an $80 price tag. Imagine if Crossworld was $40. It would have sold substantially better.
I think that this is the actual console war. It's not which console is better, it's which console's developers can survive their terrible management and publishers.
@Yor-sama "Now you’ve had a few hours to think about it, how did you feel about the State of Play? Which are the games you’re most looking forward to? As always, let us know in the comments section below."
@For-Kier Anyone into gaming will buy whatever they can afford the play the games they want to play. A PlayStation is just a box, like any other gaming device, that allows people to play game.
@Slayer25c I did read the article. Sony's main focus is third-party games, and I'd much rather play a third-party game on Steam or Switch 2 over PS5. Sony comes out with exclusive games maybe once or twice a year, and of those I'm either not interested or they end up on Steam anyways.
I really enjoyed Uncharted 4, but the pacing needed some work. It was too long. Uncharted 2 was literally perfect. The pacing, the story, the action, everything. I was an unbelievable experience.
Online rhetoric is so annoying. It seems like many people want attention, so instead of saying the game isn't for them they use hyperbole and scream "THIS IS THE WORST GAME EVER AND IT RUINED MY LIFE!!!"
I feel like we all saw this coming from a mile away. I think this is why this generation will be the longest... possibly ever. Games that require the latest and most powerful hardware are too expensive to make anyway. Frankly, the most innovative and imaginative games these days are usually coming from little indie studios, and their games can usually run on a paper weight. This, plus RAM-ageddon, and AAA gaming is going to either need to completely change or it's going to become a thing of the past.
Genuinely, it's such a waste. Most games that use ray-tracing will look dated in a handful of years anyways. Games with a clear, stylized art direction are going to look timeless. Games like Journey, Hi-Fi Rush, Persona 5 Royal, and, heck, The Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker, will look just as amazing now as they will in 20 years from now.
I just looked, and there are currently 51,000 people playing Marathon on Steam right now. I wanted some context, and there's 59,000 people playing Helldivers 2. That is kind of alarming to me seeing as how Helldivers 2 came out 2 years ago.
Austin Evans made a video earlier this week about the RAM shortage and how one of the most cost-effective ways to game right now is by getting a PS4 or a Switch Lite.
Oh, I forget. Star Wars is the most beloved franchise of all time with absolutely no controversy and the most supportive and kind fandoms of all time. What could possibly go wrong...
Sony is currently winning the home console space. If Steam wants to enter the market, they are going to need to price this quite aggressively against the PS5.

Re: 8 Ways Sony Must Improve the PS Store for Our All-Digital Future
It's amazing. You were able to name every possible feature Sony will never implement.

Re: There's No Doubt About It, Wolverine PS5 Looks Awesome
I think I can officially say that this game just isn't for me. 🫤
Re: DC's Free-to-Play Marvel Tokon Rival Doesn't Look Great
Don't. Eff. With. Arc. System. That's like copying Einstein's homework.
Re: Sony's Social Media Still Toxic Two Weeks After PS5 Discs Debacle
Sony isn't going to do or change a dang thing. I think they genuinely believe they're too big to fail.
Re: 'I'm Not Convinced There's a Viable Way Forward': DOOM Dev Relegated to 'Support Studio' Size
I am convinced that AAA gaming is dead.
Re: 50+ Digital PS3, PS Vita Games to Buy Before It's Too Late
I'm sorry. The last thing I want to do right now is give Sony more money for digital games.
Re: 'They Wait for This Storm to Pass': No Chance of Sony Walking Back Its Decision to Kill Discs, Warns Analyst
I think the people in this chat forget that we are the very vocal minority. The majority of gamers probably have no clue this is even happening.
Re: 'They Wait for This Storm to Pass': No Chance of Sony Walking Back Its Decision to Kill Discs, Warns Analyst
I think there's only one way Sony will actually feel the heat, and that will be from how few people will move from the PS5 to the PS6.
Re: Reaction: PlayStation's Reputation Is at Rock Bottom - Where Do We Go from Here?
There is absolutely no conceivable situation where I buy a PS6. At this point, there could not be a greater waste of my money.

Re: Poll: How Would You Rate Summer Game Fest 2026?
If you like games that look like Unreal Engine action games, then you probably lost your mind during this show.
Re: Reaction: Leaks Robbed State of Play of Its Biggest Surprise, But Show Still Spotlighted Many PS5 Games I'll Buy
@Yor-sama "Now you’ve had a few hours to think about it, how did you feel about the State of Play? Which are the games you’re most looking forward to? As always, let us know in the comments section below."
I believe I was asked about it. 😂
Re: Reaction: Leaks Robbed State of Play of Its Biggest Surprise, But Show Still Spotlighted Many PS5 Games I'll Buy
The biggest surprise was how much I'm not excited to play the new God of War game.
Re: Mina the Hollower (PS5) - Masterpiece for Many, But Not for Me
You are entitled to your very, very, very wrong opinion. 😌

Re: When Is PlayStation's State of Play for June 2026?
I forgot this was even happening. Save for any indies and Atlus games that might get announced, I couldn't care less.
Re: 'It Should Be Free to Play Online Games': PS Plus Price Squeeze Taken to Task by PS5 Owners
I cancelled my PS Plus subscription a couple of years ago, and I haven't regretted it even once. It was a total waste of money.

Re: 'PS5 Is Just a Plastic Box if It Doesn't Have Content': Sony Explains Its 'Third-Party Focused' Ecosystem
For this very reason, the PS5 will be my last PlayStation console. I think Steam and Nintendo will be my only gaming platforms moving forward.

Re: Saros (PS5) - Housemarque at the Peak of Its Powers with Its Best Game Yet
I do find it hilarious that Push Square, true to form, gives a Sony-published game a 9/10 when they almost never give anything above an 8/10.
Re: Opinion: Sony's 'Playerbase' Is a Weak and Weird Way to Celebrate PS5 Fans
Who on earth would ever want this? These corporations are not your friends, and you don't need to share your image with them.
Re: Poll: Do You Think PS5 Can Outsell PS4 with Its New Price Point?
This comment section really underestimates how much people are already financially struggling right now.

Re: PS5 Pro Firmware Update Adds PSSR 2 Upgrade to PS5 Games Today

Re: 'What the F*ck Is This?': God of War Creator Hates First TV Show Image
I think the image looks quite odd, but let's also take literally every single word that Jaffe says with an atom of salt.
