Poker isn't for everyone, but maybe the old arcade classic, the coin pusher, is more up your street?

If that's the case, I have some good news for you (or bad, depending on your perspective): Raccoin, a roguelike coin pusher game, is coming to PS5 later this year.

Published by Playstack — which also brought us Balatro — and developed by Doraccoon, this coin pusher arcade game initially launched on PC back in March, where it enjoyed great reviews from critics and players alike.

Now it's heading to consoles, including PS5, this autumn. No release date has been announced beyond that yet.

Raccoin is what you'd expect from this sort of thing; starting off with fairly regular coins, you slowly create a powerful build using special coins and other bonuses, with the aim of reaching the highest score possible.

There are lots of ways to do that, with coins that combo well together, multipliers, and various characters that bring unique themed coins and different play styles.

Basically, if you like the sort of action Balatro offers, Raccoin is probably worth playing too.

I've been hoping to see this make the leap to consoles, though it sounds like it might arrive right in the thick of things later this year.
