Persona 4 Revival Release Date Rumour

There's a rumour going around that Persona 4 Revival is pretty much locked in for an early 2027 release, and while that seems perfectly feasible given what we know, the reporting surrounding this rumour is shaky at best.

This all stems from the most recent financial report of Tose — a Japanese, third-party development studio that's believed to be heavily involved with the Persona 4 remake.

Said report outlines a number of unnamed projects, and their current production timelines. Some Persona fans are convinced that a certain 'Project C' is Persona 4 Revival, based on a supposed leak from last year.

Tose's timeline seems to fall in place with that leak, in which Persona 4 Revival-branded Funko figurines outed an "early 2027" launch.

According to Tose, this so-called Project C is now in its "final phase", and is expected to wrap up by the end of August this year. That, supposedly, gives Atlus several months to finalise development and ship the title in early 2027.

Like we said, this is all rather shaky — a lot of the reasoning comes down to fitting relatively disparate pieces together, when in reality, we don't know a whole lot about Atlus' approach in the first place.

Still, it's a rumour worth investigating, given how many of the dots do seem to connect on a surface level.

Let's not forget that the Xbox Games Showcase is happening on the 7th June; it's likely that Persona 4 Revival will be there, and it's logical to believe that we'd be handed a release date.

Indeed, we've seen nothing of Persona 4 Revival since its initial teaser almost a whole year ago. Whatever comes next, it's bound to be a blowout of gameplay footage and information.
