Aside from the obligatory daily efforts to beat Gold stakes on Balatro I am hoping to finish off Alan Wake 2 either today or tomorrow. Got most of the collectables and misc trophies done so just need to power through. Have much preferred Sagas parts over Alans.
Then maybe start either Still Wakes the Deep or The Invincible for some story time.

Ha I literally told a friend a couple of hours ago that I'd seen Killing Floor 3 for £16 in a BF sale but wasn't gonna bother because it'd end up on plus. Prophecy foretold.

Kind of works for for me, planning to upgrade to extra until my sub runs out August ish for around £20 mainly so I can play Silent Hill 2 as that is less than I would have been happy to pay for it. Anything else I play off the service is then a bonus for me!

Personally don't enjoy rally games, already played Stray and no idea whatever the other is.
But that's fine, not everything has to go my way all of the time... That might make me too entitled and feel the need to cry about it.

After I FINALLY managed to beat the gold stake in black deck on Balatro... well probably some more Balatro tbh!
A few more races on NFS Hot Pursuit Remastered which is ok in short bursts to scratch that arcade racing itch.
And have made a start on Alone in the Dark and am currently enjoying exploring the asylum, solving puzzles and listening to the notes being read to me... Not so much the combat.

Bit of Balatro (obvs). Felt the urge for some racing so been dipping into NfS Hot Pursuit Remastered - it's fine. Trying to motivate myself to put some time into Paradise Killer before my PS+ extra sub runs out. And looking forward to starting Bomb Rush Cyberfunk today...

But I also need to do a bit of reading and watch my teams Championship opener as well as some NFL pre-season action... My day needs some more hours adding!

Occasionally interrupting my Balatro life with a bit of Cyberpunk 2077.
Only need one more voucher and one more Joker to complete my collection. And have reached the final mission in Cyberpunk so just messing about completing side stuff.

I don't really know why I read the review. This game was never going to be for me. At least I know I'm not missing much.

Continuing with Cyberpunk 2077 on PS5 which I am loving so far (coming up to around 15 hours).

And inevitably wasting a bunch more time trying to complete my latest Gold run deck on Balatro, my true obsession.

Wow. A developer made a new game based on a well known horror franchise and didn't go down the live service multiplayer route that nobody would play and the servers would be turned off within two years.
Hurrah.
Maybe some devs are beginning to see sense.

Well I finished with Doom Eternal this week and have managed to beat another gold stake run on Balatro already this morning so it's about time I made a start on Cyberpunk before my PS extra subscription runs out in a month. So I'll likely be doing that.

Except I'll probably just play more Balatro!...

Children of Morta and Deaths Door are both excellent games and
a bargain at the current prices.

Personally I picked up Dicey Dungeons and Maniac for a little over 7 quids. Then I chucked them into the eternal backlog so I could play Balatro some more.

Yeah me too, I miss being able to give a thumbs up to people on my friends list who got a decent plat... Or sometimes just for a trophy with a funny name.

I will add it to library and maybe get around to it October -ish. Wouldn't have paid for it though. Did quite enjoy the original way back when.

I'll have a few runs on Blue Prince and see if I can make any progress but I'm now entirely sure how to tell if I am or not?!
Have decided to shelve Doom Eternal for then time being as I wasn't really feeling it and playing it seemed too much of a chore.
So, for some reason, decided to go back to Fallout 4 (PS5) around 8 years after I gave up on it on PS4... Never bothered to finish it but really desiring some open world apocalyptic exploration and to hell with protecting survivors and building bases this time around.

I keep trying to get into Animal Well but always falll of of it and end up doing something else. Guess this may be the push I neeced.

Well I've already picked up The Hong Kong Massacre for 69p and had also noticed the price on Forgotton Anne (£1.54) and Little Orpheus (£1.50) so will also get the latter two.
Three games that I'm interested in for my PS4 backlog for less than a fiver. Good times.

I got phone notification that The Hong Kong Massacre was on sale for like 69p or something so think I can probably afford to splash out, even if I never find the time to play it at least I'll have a free spot on my wishlist.

I'm strangely captivated by Citizen Sleeper so may have to put another hour or two into that. It'snot like any game I've ever played, more like a choose your own adventure book, table top RPG and cyberpunk visual novel fusion.
Also making a start on Uncharted Lost Legacy as it's the only one of the franchise I never played.

Limited game time at the moment so today am gonna flip between Night in the Woods, The Stanley Parable, Animal Well and Guardians of the Galaxy and see if I can make some progress on any or all of them.

The digital trophy case should be viewable on console and you should be able to view friends also. In fact the whole PS Stars thing should run on the console.
At least that's what I think.
I've gotten a few £5 store credits from it but I think it could be much better implemented.

As one of the few people who never bothered with GTA V thought I'd make the effort to play through that now it's available again on PS+ So I'll be doing that.

Couple of days off now so fully intend to do nothing much except for watching sport and playing video games... Well inside my happy place. Merry Christmas Push Square staff, forum members and everybody else.

I will play through It Takes Two with a friend and will probably get around to the Aliens game when I have the time and inclination so a pretty good month for me.

Gonna do a bit of Vampire Surviving, see where I get to on Road 96 and have just made a start on Spider-Man 2 so quite a mixed bag of games to flit between.

Well improved combat will be nice for people who hadn't already finished it some time ago. I remember feeling a by let down that it never really changed or evolved throughout the whole game.
But you have to wonder how many people who wanted to play it haven't already done so.

New console designed to improve graphics and performance actually improves graphics and performance of games. Yes, we get it.

Bumbling around in Chapter 15 of RE4Remake on PS5 so hopefully will complete that today. Then think I need to play some non-horror games for a break... It would be nice to see some colour again!

I would love a company like Sony to completely screw the scalpers one time by deliberately flooding the market with a load of stock they had been secretly holding back at a reduced price just so all the scalpers get stuck with hundreds or thousands of pounds of products that nobody needs. Not gonna happen but still....

Scalpers lower my opinion of humanity.
