I may not agree with all Sony have been doing in recent years but I am wholeheartedly behind these moves. Should make it so I can once again browse the bargain bin in sales looking for hidden gems.

Finally got around to getting into Diablo IV, mooching around with my Barbarian hitting everything in site with whirlwind move whilst trying not to get too distracted away from the main quest.
A bit of post game grinding on Suicide squad because any not?
Not much else on atm though I should get back to Space Marine 2 since I recently completed the main storyline... Problem is I don't much enjoy it.

Personally I'm not the biggest metroidvania fan but I absolutely adored both of the Guacamelee games... May have got the plats on both as well

Voted it was an ok selection but that I wasn't looking forward to any of them. It's an ok selection for others I suppose. I'm very much done with FIFA (not FIFA) and don't have the patience (or talent) for soulslikes.

Similar to what others have mentioned I've had my current account for maybe 15 years and Sony can't figure out that I was probably more than 3 years old when I was using my debit card to buy games from them.
I do use voice chat to keep in touch with some friends when we're online at the same time whether or not were playing the same game so guess I'm gonna have to go for it one way or another.
I'm very much averse to giving out my data to any companies wherever possible so not happy with this.

I mean it looks and sounds right up my alley but I REALLY feel I need to stop playing roguelites at some point... It's the repetition thing where I feel I could have completed a bunch of games instead of just restarting the same things over and over again

Tempted to buy it couple of times in the past but I suppose now is the perfect time to throw it into the eternal backlog.

As much as I like trophies and racking up those shinies I can honestly say I don't care about any of the things mentioned.... It just be other PS5 fans who are wanting them.

Today I'm bouncing between Dicey Dungeons, Crow Country, Art of Rally and Time Recoil. Might have a round or two on Killing Floor 3 as well.
Or I may just watch a load of Winter Olympics and some footie.

Oh I agree. I played for a month or so when it came out but too much grind like you say and too many confusing currencies kind of put me off. The races and handling and overall gameplay was good fun though.

In my opinion the leaked 'headliner' is probably the weakest of the months offerings. Not sure if I'll get around to any of them though...

As someone who doesn't mind an occasional game of scrabble who is attempting to break free of a Balatro addiction ... I can see one game that I may have to keep an eye on.

I was happy enough with Art of Rally and potentially Ridge Racer when they were leaked. Now it's been confirmed I would also play Darkest Dungeon 2 and A Little to the Left if I can find the time.
So I'd call this month a win for me!

Interested in Art of Rally so that'll save me a few quids. Might give Ridge Racer a go for nostalgia reasons.
RE Village is fun but already done.
Bought Exit 8 s while back for about £2 but still haven't started it so that's not saving people much.
If I get at least one thing I'll play I class it as a win so no complaints from me.

Gonna start NG+ on Silent Hill 2 with a no radio, chainsaw only speedrun attempt and pick off another ending (hopefully). A couple of runs on Dicey Dungeons... And have a poke around my PS4 library to try find some inspiration.

Mostly playing Silent Hill 2 remake. Just passed 9 hours and just made it out of the scary hospital... It's a bit bloody good you know!
Sound design is excellent at keeping me on edge.

Made a start on Silent Hill 2. Done a few hours and just survived the first Pyramid Head encounter at the end of the Blue Creek apartments. Liking it so far even if it does creep me out a bit.
Might start The Invincible or Killing Floor 3 or both later on.

Aside from the obligatory daily efforts to beat Gold stakes on Balatro I am hoping to finish off Alan Wake 2 either today or tomorrow. Got most of the collectables and misc trophies done so just need to power through. Have much preferred Sagas parts over Alans.
Then maybe start either Still Wakes the Deep or The Invincible for some story time.

Ha I literally told a friend a couple of hours ago that I'd seen Killing Floor 3 for £16 in a BF sale but wasn't gonna bother because it'd end up on plus. Prophecy foretold.

Kind of works for for me, planning to upgrade to extra until my sub runs out August ish for around £20 mainly so I can play Silent Hill 2 as that is less than I would have been happy to pay for it. Anything else I play off the service is then a bonus for me!

Personally don't enjoy rally games, already played Stray and no idea whatever the other is.
But that's fine, not everything has to go my way all of the time... That might make me too entitled and feel the need to cry about it.

After I FINALLY managed to beat the gold stake in black deck on Balatro... well probably some more Balatro tbh!
A few more races on NFS Hot Pursuit Remastered which is ok in short bursts to scratch that arcade racing itch.
And have made a start on Alone in the Dark and am currently enjoying exploring the asylum, solving puzzles and listening to the notes being read to me... Not so much the combat.

Bit of Balatro (obvs). Felt the urge for some racing so been dipping into NfS Hot Pursuit Remastered - it's fine. Trying to motivate myself to put some time into Paradise Killer before my PS+ extra sub runs out. And looking forward to starting Bomb Rush Cyberfunk today...

But I also need to do a bit of reading and watch my teams Championship opener as well as some NFL pre-season action... My day needs some more hours adding!

Occasionally interrupting my Balatro life with a bit of Cyberpunk 2077.
Only need one more voucher and one more Joker to complete my collection. And have reached the final mission in Cyberpunk so just messing about completing side stuff.

Wow. A developer made a new game based on a well known horror franchise and didn't go down the live service multiplayer route that nobody would play and the servers would be turned off within two years.
Hurrah.
Maybe some devs are beginning to see sense.

Well I finished with Doom Eternal this week and have managed to beat another gold stake run on Balatro already this morning so it's about time I made a start on Cyberpunk before my PS extra subscription runs out in a month. So I'll likely be doing that.

Except I'll probably just play more Balatro!...

Children of Morta and Deaths Door are both excellent games and
a bargain at the current prices.

Personally I picked up Dicey Dungeons and Maniac for a little over 7 quids. Then I chucked them into the eternal backlog so I could play Balatro some more.

Yeah me too, I miss being able to give a thumbs up to people on my friends list who got a decent plat... Or sometimes just for a trophy with a funny name.

I will add it to library and maybe get around to it October -ish. Wouldn't have paid for it though. Did quite enjoy the original way back when.

I'll have a few runs on Blue Prince and see if I can make any progress but I'm now entirely sure how to tell if I am or not?!
Have decided to shelve Doom Eternal for then time being as I wasn't really feeling it and playing it seemed too much of a chore.
So, for some reason, decided to go back to Fallout 4 (PS5) around 8 years after I gave up on it on PS4... Never bothered to finish it but really desiring some open world apocalyptic exploration and to hell with protecting survivors and building bases this time around.
