Hades 2 Finally Announced for PS5, and It Arrives in a Matter of Weeks 1

We've been patiently waiting for this one! At long last, Hades 2 has been announced for PS5, and what's more, it's right around the corner.

The highly acclaimed sequel to Supergiant's superb roguelike dungeon crawler Hades finally comes to Sony's console on 14th April 2026.

Hades 2 follows a new character, Melinoë, sister of Zagreus, who is attempting to save the Underworld from the Titan of Time.

While gameplay looks to be fairly similar to the original, Hades 2 features plenty of original ideas while telling its own story and introducing you to an even wider array of Greek mythology characters.

Our sister site Nintendo Life awarded the game a big fat 9/10 on Switch 2, praising its wealth of roguelike mechanics, well-written characters, and great presentation.

We're very much looking forward to checking this out after loving the original.
