Sony’s announced its PS Plus Extra and PS Plus Premium lineups for the remainder of July, and it’s a decent lineup in my opinion
The star of the show is Ubisoft’s surprisingly solid movie tie-in Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora, which recently got a third-person mode if you’re not a fan of first-person shooting.
It’s a rock-solid release to lead a largely solid lineup, which also includes Koei Tecmo’s PS5 console exclusive Rise of the Ronin and the retro throwback Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: Rita’s Rewind.

I always loved the old 16-bit Power Rangers games on the Super Nintendo, so I’ve had this game on my wishlist for honestly what feels like an eternity.
The retro enthusiast in me is also hyped to replay Psi-Ops: The Mindgate Conspiracy, a really fun AA physics action game I loved on my PS2.
And this month we’re actually getting two PS Plus Premium classics: the abovementioned Midway affair will be joined by Quantic Dream’s uneven but ambitious Fahrenheit (or Indigo Prophecy). Even if you only play the opening mission, I recommend it.
The remaining games on PS Plus Extra this month include Firefighting Simulator: Ignite, Dying Light, Citizen Sleeper 2: Starward Vector, and Snow Bros. Wonderland. So, your mileage may vary, but it’s not a bad offering at all.
Of course, I’ll leave that for you to decide. What are your thoughts on this month’s offering? Vote in our poll, and let us know below.
