The Reloaded Edition of Dying Light 2 headlines the month of August 2026, which was a solid zombie open world game at the time of its release. Since then, it's been constantly updated and how has its own spin-off title in Dying Light: The Beast.
My original PS5 review concluded with a 7/10 rating and said: "Dying Light 2 is a super solid follow-up to the 2015 original, building upon its fantastic gameplay loop with new traversal options for even more parkour fun. It's extremely disappointing, however, that the narrative and open world promises Techland made in the lead up to launch haven't been realised."
As for Big Walk, from the team behind Untitled Goose Game, that's a brand new day one release. It's a co-op experience where you and some friends go on a, well... walk. You'll need to communicate with each other and solve puzzles to get by.
Signalis rounds out the lineup as an incredible survival horror indie title. I strongly recommend you play this one, and agree with our 8/10-rated Mini Review published at the time: "Signalis is riveting in both the construction of its world and the tense survival horror gameplay it executes so well. Don’t overlook it because of its very late last-gen release: rose-engine’s effort has its feet firmly planted in the future."
