@jmac1686 That's exactly why its the expansion most people dislike. The Story just wasn't up to par with everything else. But the zones were really well done and looks incredible.

No mention of Chaos Legion makes me sad.

@PSXDave Its funny cause those games has been rumored SO many times now, and still nothing. But I agree. Would honestly love to see them get a fresh coat of paint with a netcode that actually works properly lol.

Stormblood may be the worst expansion in all FF14. But considering how ridiculous many hours of content you get for free, it would be silly not snag it up for free. Highly recommend people grab it if you have any intention of giving the game a shot at some point.

Aha. So I wasn't totally crazy when I told my friend I kept hearing Don't Be Afraid from FF8 in the battle music.
But not surprised. Soken is incredible at his craft and very often puts small easter eggs/reference into his music. FF14 is another amazing example at how well he does anything music related.

Super stoked for FF16. It looks and sound amazing all around.

As much as I do love these RE remakes, I really do want to see them do something different like Breath of Fire or Dino Crisis. Heck, do Chaos Legion.

Should be noted pre-registration has been up way longer then just a month. But that said, its a Hoyoverse/Mihoyo game so not even surprising to see. ZZZ is most likely gonna have crazy numbers as well.

I just want the opening from the game to be in the movie and looks just as incredible then im honestly satisfied.

Super stoked for this. Loved the beta. And ss much as I like Genshin Impact, this game is way more up my alley with its turn based combat. Can't wait! (Probably even gonna drop Genshin for this, even with all the money I spend on it)

Also interesting to see how they announced PS4/5 and no Xbox version. Wonder if Sony threw some money their way once again? Or if its just easier for them to deal with a single console. (GI Switch version where?!)

@guacguacboo I am in the same boat as you. And it really hurts seeing how many games don't have a font size slider but somehow has so many other fancy features.

Personally still taking the chance with this though.

Glad to see they did a good job at finishing the trilogy. Didn’t wanna get the game at first but figured I had to see how it ends now. Also most of the cons sounds like standard Koei issues at this point. Especially what I assume is localization issues with text polish.

Never was a fan of RE4 myself cause it feel more action then horror. But man is it good to see Capcom did good to a deeply loved game.

Review makes it sound like they actually changed some of it to make it a bit more horror, and a bit less action? (granted the atmosphere/graphics clearly helped as well) If so that is great and means I may actually give in and get it after all.

I know its free and all, but this feel like such a soulless update especially after everything that happened to the original team.

What the. This actually looks good? Not like God of War good. But for a title on a smaller budget it looks great.

May not be a huge graphical upgrade but the new artstyle definitely does help quiet a bit. Excited to see where this one goes! And to hear the banging soundtrack, as per usual.

@sentiententity Well, you won't be able to like every single game just because someone else does. Not more to it really. But at least you gave it a shot so you know to steer clear of future titles which is totally fair.

Not gonna try it myself, getting it either way cause Vanillaware. But so glad to see more and more devs/publishers are starting to realize (again) how good demos actually can be.

Video isn't working for me. (Already seen it though!) Also just a FYI for people: There are gameplay clips of the game already. It's basically the same from the previous game for now at least.

I've bought all of the SAO games across PC, PS4 and Switch. And been enjoying them, even if they aren't anything incredible. So probably getting this as well. Also have ReoNa doing the opening song (again) is such a fantastic call, she is so incredible. And it's gonna help drag people in.

Sad, but not unexpected after the last Trails from Zero. Such a shame PS is getting a somewhat inferior version once again.

As much as I love this game, I definitely do agree with the score. Game is fantastic but does has issues. And they are even more obvious now then back then.
Also one thing I noticed replaying this is how many bloody 1 shot attacks bosses have. Not even taking damage, just "Out of combat!" It's so cheap lol

Not surprised this is a solid VR experience since they already nailed it with RE7.

Also bit off-topic: But thank you Liam (and everybody else on the team) for trying to cover so many of these VR2 titles/updates!

Yeah. That's basically what I got from the demo lol. That didn't leave a good impression and seem like its the same for full release. Oh well.
Still great review and good to see its still a good game over all though! Probably gonna pick it up cheap, and when all the DLC is out in a full package.

It sucks. But I personally appreciate they are being up front about the delay and saying it won't be out this year instead giving us a date only to delay again and again, or just being silent about it. No point rushing it. And like he said, fans have high expectations after the first. So its the right call.
Still excited for it though!

Super down for this. Seem to be a successor to Crystar which was a fantastic game, ignoring the very repetitive dungeons and enemies. Also it has Risa Tsumugi. That alone makes it a need.

Yup. Seem to have fixed the soft-locking with Dragoon Magic and some audio issues. Glad to see they fixed it so fast. But should have been noticed from the start.

Dead Space 2? Fine. But drop the ridiculous price point the first remake got.
Dead Space 3? Nope. That game was terrible. Pretend it didn't happen and make a brand new one instead then.

This is honestly a very impressive amount of PSVR2 games for the launch window. Very nice to see.

God damn he looks GOOD. Also the stage design.. And the music. This keeps looking amazing.

This should have happened way earlier. But better late then never. At least they are fixing it. (Or trying. We'll see)

@johncalmc Ah fair enough. I just dislike building in any games in general and it looks clunky to me in this. But judging by the review itself and what you just said it may not be that way. So may give in and try the game after all.

Im still on the fence on this. Diablo 3 left a bad taste in my mouth with the always online. So have a feeling this is gonna be the same. (Heck. Overwatch 2 had issues too..)

Also I really miss the older days when you didn't have to PAY to get beta access and devs gave people access for free cause they wanted help to stress test their game.

Really liking what im reading about this. Was skeptical about it cause EA.
But how important is the building aspect of the game? Is it required or would it be possible to get by without using it too much?

I saw The Legend of Dragoon and squealed.
I cannot believe Sony actually remember that game. That is such an amazing game. Really hope it can be purchased outside of the PS+ Catalogue.

That is putting it mild lol. Some of the sound effects can make you deaf with how ridiculous loud they are, and some of them come out of nowhere.

On a positive note: You can at least feel the team had a blast creating the game even if the game isn't the best from a player perspective.

I am personally loving everything they showed and explained throughout the entire video. Yes, adding more mechanics may make the game even more daunting for newcomers, but changing some older mechanics to make it easier is gonna help combat that. Gonna be interesting to see how it turns out.

Not the biggest fan of Nina's new look. But do very much like playstyle she's showing.

Honestly hope they ban the people who is confirmed to be using third party tools. If you need ANY mod to tell you what to do or whats about to happen, you don't deserve the clear.

Its neat to see more trials. But uh. This isn't the game to do it for. You barely get through the tutorial. You don't get to see much of what it has to offer.

I just want a MGR remaster/remake. That game was such a huge surprise and more people deserves to play it.

Played the first week or two when the game released. Dropped it after playing ranked cause I knew something felt off about it. It was horrible, and generally speaking the community for once agreed on it. And yet it took Blizzard till now to acknowledge how terrible it was. But the damage has already been done.

Well, definitely not a month for me. But it could be worse. So that is something at least.

Man those viewer numbers are crazy. Really looking forward to see how Nick is gonna portrait Bill. He does have the Bill-feel to him.

@Bentleyma it’s fair enough to think like that. But you also need to remember not everybody can or want to play video games. The show is aimed at a new audience.

Can be done solo or co-op, yeah. But its more arcade-like compared to World. Easier to jump and in out mission co-op and generally easier to find and kill the targets.

Said this for years now, but the RE Engine is magic. It looks incredible and the fact it actually can manage to make their games run really damn good on current gen and even Switch is impressive.
