Still no interest in the game. But glad to see CDPR realized it just isn't worth it for last-gen (sucks for those without PS5 however!). Clearly wanna avoid running into the same disaster once more.
Gave New Genesis a go. Sure looks and runs better then OG PSO2, but its just as dull and grindy. Unfortunately not very fun and honestly not very friendly. So much stuff that barely gets explained and things that don't get explained at all. Honestly expected with New Genesis they would do better, but it just feels like PSO2 with new paint.
Its nice to see so much content in the package. But that really also makes you even more worried about the price. Surely all of that stuff would increase the cost. But again, its nice to see an actual package with basically everything.
Sony's logic makes no sense. Game got okay reviews. Don't want to make a sequel. BUT want to spend millions on a movie instead? Not like we have a ton of movies that does the EXACT same thing as the game does.
So they wasted time and just put a band-aid over it. Cool.
How about they actually do something about it instead? The store is such a ***** show with all the cheap quiet literally garbage games. Meanwhile there are legit, cheap good games being buried under it at all. There's no standard here. ZERO quality control.
I really do hope he get his way. I'd love for a Ghost movie, with an entire Japanese cast. The entire setting is incredible, and honestly feels fitting for a movie. But he is also right I feel. Without English he probably won't be getting a good budget.
We'll see how it goes. Hopefully Sony isn't gonna be stupid.
Shame they dropped the ball with this. Sure they dropped retail price on release. But would have done better as a F2P game, or as a perma mode for Siege itself. Its fun. But after 2-3 hours you have quiet literally played the entire game and seen everything it has to offer.
What a wonderful video to watch. Really seem like such a friendly and fun workplace. Also I like how they mention being able to balance work and personal life. Hope they get their proper breakthrough soon, cause everything they have released so far has been incredible. And for some reason, tons of people ignore them (probably cause VR, but still..)
Its cool they are doing this, even if its not really needed imo. 14 is definitely one of the easier MMOs to get into, especially with how solo focused it is, outside of Dungeons/Raids. The team does such an amazing job at making this as approachable as it possible can be, while still being true to itself.
Arcsys has always done a phenomenal job with trailers. But these last few years they have really stepped up their game. This is no exception. Gorgeous and really well done.
Don't worry, won't blame you! It's hard to tell if its paid or not when they don't really give any info other then the short announcement. And when you find info they all say differently lol
Sucks the upgrade isn't free, but I also get developers can't keep doing it. Hopefully its a cheap upgrade.
Also.. If there's a new version releasing, I wonder if its gonna be crazy expensive just like Tekken 7 (not-so)Definitive Edition or actually decently priced.
But excited to see this with rollback netcode. It was definitely needed.
Cool to see more accessibility options. But still no FOV slider.. And still a bit annoying third person view is locked behind Gold Edition. Really want to play the game, but the current FOV is abysmal, and third person view could also fix that. But nope!
Persona 3. No doubt.
But if Atlus is handling it? Not sure I wanna see it. Already have a horrible feeling about the Persona 3 Port releasing next year. The SMT Remaster was so ridiculous lazy (and crazy overpriced, shocking!), and afraid that is going same route. So a remake from them? Probably not.
I hate that. Let's sell a super expensive edition, so people can get early access and let them ruin the game for the people who refuse to pay overprice? Yep. Such a brilliant idea. Especially in a age where its almost a race to see who can spoil the game the fastest.
There is literally no reason for this not to be a free upgrade on PlayStation, hell, not even a cheap paid upgrade either. And before people say "Oh but it has DLC", that's no excuse.
Asking people to pay full price, 3 times? Nah. Screw that. Sega/Atlus are some of the worst when it comes to stuff like this. And they don't seem to care cause you know, it works and people ignore the ridiculous greed.
Heck, they could cancel the PS5 version for all I care, and just do a performance patch instead.
I have not played Dreams yet (shame on me, I know..), but got to say this is cool to see. Love to see how involved Media Molecule is in their communities across their games, and how much they do for them.
First thing I thought of was NFTs.. But according to Sony it's not NFTs so that is definitely a relief. (for now). But it's nice to see Sony jumping onto the train with a program like this. Guessing it won't be any massive or crazy rewards. But eh, small things just for gaming? Sure, why not. Works for Nintendo.
I'd imagine its an error. But then again, wouldn't be the first time in Sony history where a country/region get some games other countries/regions don't get.
Nordisk Games are part of Nordisk Film, who does movies. So this honestly seem like a really damn good fit considering the sort of games Supermassive Games have been making for years.
This is probably one of the better trailers they have done. The entire tone of it is just top notch. Never expected them to just casually show the Harbingers.

Re: Square Enix Sends Babylon's Fall to the Grave in February 2023
At least they announced this rather fast instead of just bleeding money into it.
Re: Assassin's Creed Finally Goes to Japan as Ubisoft Takes on Ghost of Tsushima
@nessisonett Completely agree with you.
I honestly don't see the connection between this and Tsushima. And comparing these two just feels wrong.
Re: Captain America, Black Panther Title Revealed Without a Name
Hard to be interested when there was basically nothing being shown. Heck, there isn't even a name.
Re: Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty Expansion Revealed, PS5 Only in 2023
Still no interest in the game. But glad to see CDPR realized it just isn't worth it for last-gen (sucks for those without PS5 however!). Clearly wanna avoid running into the same disaster once more.
Re: What Remains of Edith Finch PS5 Upgrade Now Free For Those with PS4 Version via PS Plus
Good on the devs on changing this! Also its an incredible game.

Re: Bungie No Longer Removing Destiny 2 Expansions People Paid For
Im honestly surprised Bungie got away with doing this for so long. And now blaming it on the engine? Seem like BS to me.
Re: Sony Reveals Official PS5 Pro Controller, DualSense Edge
The look is nice. But the 4 new buttons? Nah. Really don't need more.
Re: Brief The Last of Us HBO Clip Posted Online
I honestly don't have too much faith in it. But I do have to admit Pascal, or whatever his name is definitely NAILED Joel's voice.

Re: New Tales from the Borderlands Arrive on 21st October for PS5, PS4
They probably could have went with a better name. Calling it New is most likely gonna confuse people.
Re: Rollerdrome (PS5) - Just As Good As Tony Hawk's Pro Skater

Better late then never. Should honestly have been there from the get-go with the re-release though.
Re: Digimon Survive (PS4) - Darker Digimon Story Carries Some Flat RPG Elements

Yay. Someone finally mentioned it! Both that and the detective/phone bit feels so pointless.
But good review, and definitely agree with it. It's actually a surprisingly good Digimon game, even for being a VN.
Re: Immediate Backlash as Sony Asks Players About Purchasing NFTs
They just said their newest program isn't NFTs.. And then they do a survey about this? Piss off Sony. Seriously.
Re: We're Sure Fans Will Be Rational Over This The Last of Us PS5 Clip

Good. Cause it doesn't. No excuse for the ridiculous price other than pure greed.

Re: Star Ocean: The Divine Force Details D.U.M.A, Vanguard Assault Systems in New Trailer
Very excited for this!
But I do find a bit odd how hard Square Enix is going in on ads and promos on this vs other niche titles of theirs.
Re: PS Plus Extra, Premium Members Get All Main Yakuza Games Before End of 2022
This is one hell of a line-up. Glad to see more people may actually give Yakuza a shot now! (Note: They are all worth it!)

Re: There's 'No Comparison' Between The Last of Us on PS5 vs PS3, Says Dev
Finding it hilarious at this point how much NaughtyDog is actually trying to defend this.
People will buy it either way.
I won't as I don't agree with the price or the need to even remaster/remake it.

I have seen founder packs for other games that give way more bang for your money, and even cheaper. But this is WB, so not even surprised seeing this.
Re: Very First Look at Yakuza: Like a Dragon Sequel Surfaces
I see Nanba. That's good enough for me to be excited!
Just hope they change up the combat. Really liked the turn-based take, but it was so janky.
Re: Sony Set to Buy Esports Tournament Tracking Platform Repeat.gg

Watched the first episode.. Aaand thats just about how much I can handle of it. More power to people if they can enjoy it.
Re: Dino Crisis, Ridge Racer 2, and Soul Calibur Listed for PS Plus Premium, But Only in Italy
I'd imagine its an error.
But then again, wouldn't be the first time in Sony history where a country/region get some games other countries/regions don't get.
Re: Metal Gear Solid 2 and 3 Seemingly Return to PS Store Soon
Just let them be playable on PS5.. All that im asking for.
