8 or 9 score seem about right. Been having such a blast with it. Honestly amazed how much they have improved the game over the first, even after going third person.

Pretty wild considering how niche the first game was. And this hasn't really got any ridiculous promoting either. Sure it has got some, but compared to other games its still nothing.

As someone who really wasn't a fan of the Remake part 1, im actually happy to see they improved on what could have worked better in this.

Not surprised. Atlus is such scumbags when it comes to their games now. Remaking an entire, beloved game, just to sell DLC for it. How about instead they released a FULL game.

As someone who has played NIKKE since day 1, this is VERY exciting to see.
Also just as a note: Those 25 millions $ per month is ONLY from mobile revenue. It has a PC version as well, which isn't counted. So yeah. Its bonkers.

@themightyant The whole reward thing you mention is 100% valid. But a lot of the issues is also the lack of QoL for Genshin. HRS get so much QoL stuff so fast, meanwhile Genshin is lacking the basic stuff. That's also what upset people.

That said, only a bit into the new patch, and already loving the story. (Also only took 4 pulls to get Black Swan so yay)

I am, and absolutely loving it. This game has honestly surprised me in a really huge way.

Im a few hours into the game atm, and man, this game has SO much charm. I am actually surprised by the game so far. Also the English dub is actually really damn good. And I never use English dub.

Did it need an enhanced/remaster version? Nope.
Am I happy it did? Yes. Just hoping they won't charge £70 for it.

SUPER glad to see the game turned out to be good even after being stuck a development hell. Glad to see the campaign isn't super long. I'll take a short, good story over a long, dull, dragged on story any time.

@ShogunRok Thats kinda sad imo. Taking away things are rarely ever a good thing. Always better to allow people the option to keep it as it was. But still appreciate they didn't botch up the game!

Glad to see they did the game good. Even with some not so great changes (removing fatigue, adding more teleports etc), and not to mention the ridiculous DLC.
Kinda sad to see they made it even easier. Should just have added difficulty options instead of just taking stuff away.

Im happy we are getting more and more anime-based games. But sad there is so little effort put into majority of them. This being one of them. JJK deserves better.

It does look incredible and Cygames does have a good track record with their games. I really do hope it holds up considering how many years of delay it went through.

Eh. Its not really like Genshin but I also know thats just what people are gonna compare mobile games to no matter what, so no point arguing it lol.
But that said, im glad to see Kuro Games can branch out. Punishing Gray Raven, their previous title, is mobile/PC only but is an incredible hack n slash game. Also after the first CBT of WW im glad they took all the feedback to heart and rebooted the whole story cause my god, was it terrible lol.

That honestly seem rather silly to put. That belong with Tekken Tag. Not in this. But that said, great review otherwise and glad to see Tekken 8 improved much more over Tekken 7!

@devildragon2k23 Their own website literally says its part of the more expensive editions. And you may wanna do a quick google search cause yes. The first LaD had NG+ behind a paywall as well.

@themightyant The first LaD had the same bs going with NG+ being like £1 and then later raised to something like £10. It had a lot of pushback and articles and well it clearly did nothing. rAtlus/Sega clearly does not give a crap cause people obviously keeps buying into it sadly.

Remaking a game, only to fill it with paid DLC. Yeah. They can go screw themselves. rAtlus have become such a greedy, scumbag of a company.

And before people say "But its just optional costumes, Personas and music". It doesn't matter. Its stuff that could clearly have been part of the game but was decided to cut out only to sell for some cheap cash-grab. I am so sick and tired of this.

But have to say I really dislike the announcement of DLC characters already. Straight up makes the game feel like it's unfinished and just pushed out fast.

But unfortunately feel like im done with the series. Been with it from Yakuza 2 on PS2, and can't say I like the new direction and gimmicks they are pulling now.

I hate censorship like most others. BUT the game hasn't even released, so nothing was final to begin with. So not sure I would even consider it a real censorship. But then again, one of character designs in Genshin Impact and Honkai 3rd had the chinese fanbase up in arms over the chest size as well. So I can imagine it may also be why they are trying to tone it down already.

Microtransaction prices has honestly gone completely of the rails. And they are just gonna get worse, and most likely also just get away with it. Even with negative response most developers don't seem to care. Sad times we live in.

Plus im not buying the game knowing they have cut out 2 characters that was part of Persona 5, only to sell them as 20 bucks DLC. Kinda tired of Atlus's DLC bs at this point.

Yeah. Those numbers may seem really low, but for a Star Ocean game? That's huge.
Shame Square Enix is most likely gonna see it as a failure as per usual with their ridiculous expected sale numbers.

Wait. Its only 30 FPS on PS5?! What a huge disappointment. I know its turn based and all, so 60 isn't the most important thing ever, but it does make it feel smoother after all.

I am absolutely amazed how they nailed first a PC version and then a console version. Like.. It feels so wrong with how many messed up releases we have.

That said, Can't wait to jump in! Just wish the unlock time wasn't so late tomorrow..

I sure hope most of those sales are digital, and nobody gave into the ridiculous and overpriced physical release.

Highly advise people to not bother. Been playing since day 1 on mobile. Its barebones. Barely any content and you have basically no currency income to use on the banners. There is zero enemy balance. You have a cooldown on dodge, meanwhile enemies has ZERO cooldowns on spamming huge attacks. You also need a TON of dupes to max limit break characters, assist and scene cards.
Oh and worse of all, there is NO cross save. So can't even use the same account on PS4/5 and Mobile.

Good review. Basically what I expected as well. 7s and 8s from most places.
Also, while its not for me, it still blows my mind it has full English dub. Spike Chunsoft really went all out.

It's just more so people don't rush to redownload the game expecting to be able to continue already if they have cleared the previous expansion for free. Not like the game is a small download
