These prices are for digital on the store...
So expect games to be around £15 cheaper in retail

Oh well got my pre order with smyths last night so I'm happy, and tbh aslong as Sony sells all their initial shipment then they won't care a out the pre order situation

@Friendly I'm sure they won't miss you 😂 playstation is all about the games and having the biggest blockbusters on the market and once again it looks like they xbox beat, xbox are going all out on gamepass as they don't have any games and not many first party ones in production so they are heavily relying on gamepass to bring in the money.

This gen is basically the console with the most power vs the console with all the good games, only one winner in my opinion.

Absolutely loved it, and every game shown is something I'd play day one, only two gripes, firstly no ps5 ui was shown and secondly not happy that the UK have to wait longer.

Also I wonder if the PS Plus collection will cost extra money? Or will the ps plus subscription go up in price

@TheFrenchiestFry yeah I remember the hype surrounding persona 5, after completing golden on vita I felt like an eternity, that's the trouble with the persona series it takes as long as final fantasy games do to release a main game.
Even if sony announce it tomorrow it would most likely be 3 years away

They will probably show a load of great games and some surprise reveals but at the end they will be like, if you want to play all these great games then you have to pay £549

@Trajan so what gen is the switch if the wii u was this gen? Its pretty fair to say Nintendo do their own thing separate from being the main home console like playstation and Microsoft go for.

@Sebatrox ah yes how could I forget the wii, the wii was so underpowered and not a traditional console, was mainly used for sports and fitness more than anything, though I did enjoy the mario galaxy games.

Need to be agile on that price

Ps3 was so over priced yet still won the generation, maybe price isn't everything....

Well it looks more detailed than BOTW and the areas are fuller and not baron

Next gen from both Microsoft and Sony is looking rather bland and pointless for 2020, il just stick with my ps4 and switch until they give me a reason to get the ps5

Wouldn't be surprised if Microsoft have paid ubisoft to make the ps5 version only 30fps

If the ps5 is delayed by a few months then that's the nail in the coffin for sony this gen. They can't lose those holiday sales to microsoft

With the value of gamepass and price of the series S and X i believe this gen will be Microsofts, parents who want a cheap next gen console for their kids will flock to the series S and casuals who only play the big third party multiplats will also flock to the series S, this could be really bad for ain't unless they take a drastic approach in their pricing.
Nevertheless I will be getting a ps5 as the exclusives are phenomenal whilst Microsofts are pretty poor. And also I enjoy my JRPG's and niche anime games

Let's be honest Microsoft HAVE to go all out this gen after the abysmal last gen, if they failed this gen then that would of been the end for their console division, but looks like they have clawed some ground back with this and the series S

Sounds interesting I might buy it at the end of the month, only reason I've waited as I'm unsure there's actually many decent levels on there as a friend of mine told me some games are in parts and most are unfinished

@Constable_What I agree with everything you said it only thing holding mre back from going all digital is the prices, I like to get games the day they come out and youre talking £60 for a AAA game digital vs £35-£40 retail plus I can get half back by selling on ebay so it's either pay £60 digital and not trade it in or £40 retail and get £20 back a month or two later by selling it.

Considering the cost of new digital games (£60+) I'm going to get the disk version and willing to pay between £450 and £500

Id pay the extra just to know i can play the best games around, but at that price most people will get the series X especially parents looking for a cheap next gen console for their kids.

But looking at its specs can you truly call the series S a next gen console?

I've had the game since day one, played it for a week and didn't touch it again.
But I just watched all the trailers for all of its updates so far and I have to say it's looking like a new game, I will definitely be downloading this again tonight and giving it another chance

Doesn't surprise me, with the success of the avenger films and how Marvel film industry has elevated since the start of the 2000's its became one of the biggest franchises around, dare say bigger than DC

@Richnj counting ps5 sales only and not including morales sales then kf course cyberpunk would be more popular it would have no competition.

I'm going to buy and enjoy cyberpunk, morales and avengers (hopefully) and want all of them to sell well.

To the original argument about marvel not being as big in the gaming scene, what I was trying to say (and poorly) is that marvel is a bigger name in gaming than cd project red and will always be, there's spiderman games, deadpool games, iron man games, guardians of the galaxy games, marvel ultimate alliance games, lego games, fantastic four, hulk, punisher, capcom and street fighter crossovers, x-men, electra, ghost rider, captain America, thor, heck even Disney infinity, and many mobile games.
Marvel has been in the gaming scene since 1982 on atari, so trust me Marvel is bigger than cd project red in the gaming industry.
